Clones In Soil: Hybrid Perpetual Grow 2021/2022

Hey StoneOtter, I actually knocked a top right off by reaching over to mess with something on the other side of the tent..ugh….:eye-roll: I won’t be doing that again. Oh yeah, which reminds me that I noticed on the one branch it came off of, is super frosty…. Look I have pictures lol

She's really frosting up a storm!

Clones are as old as the mother they came from, so as soon as they're rooted and growing, feel free to feed them full strength veg nutes.
Omg! I was today years old when I learned that!

I’ve been feeding mine like seedlings!

Had to add some posts bc some of the colas were falling over, almost hitting the ground. :meatballs:

I can feel one of my much sought after hooray victory songs coming on!
Yessss, I can’t wait to hear it!! Does this victory song have a victory dance to go with, maybe something like this :slide:
Lol

Ok, I’ll go ahead and feed them this next water along with some LST for the others. I’ve only done one so far bc it was so tall already.

She's really frosting up a storm!
Right,, it’s pretty awesome!! I’ve added and changed a few things I think might have helped.
I upgraded the light from 100w to 300w.
Started using @Prescription Blend nutrients.
Added an intake booster fan to go along with the exhaust fan.
I’ve also been trying to keep the tent at 75f during lights out and 85f with the lights on.
My humidity seems to be a lot better now too. It’s been in the 50’s-60’s. The first time I couldn’t keep the humidity up at all after watering. The struggle gets real sometimes lol

Attention to all those things makes a difference! Nice work!

Plants look stunning and WoW on that spotlight! What phone are you using?
Thanks so much Nev! I’m using the iPhone 12 it has 3 cameras, so it’s able to take some really good pictures. :thumb:

hey bro what wonderful plants huh

Does it look like it's been snowing inside your tent or did they throw icing sugar?:laugh::laugh:

How many weeks to harvest?

happy growing
Hey there tiocarnius, oh it’s definitely been snowing with sugar on top lol
I’m not sure how much longer until harvest. I’m still really new at growing and went too long my first harvest, so needless to say I’m getting pretty nervous at this point. But I have the perfect guidance here at 420, so I really shouldn’t be nervous at all. With that said :nervous-guy:lol

Ps. 2weeks, if I go to 8 weeks. We are currently in the middle of 6 weeks flower.

Hey guys, what do y’all think of this lil fan that dubs as a humidifier. I have a hard time keeping the humidity up in the tent when I’m curing, so I thought maybe this could help? Any thought’s or ideas?

I really need to start preparing for harvest. I’m pretty sure I have everything I need. I’ll go ahead and dry inside of the tent again, since I have time before the clones will need the space.

My BFF had a rack made to hang the weed to dry from but I’m not sure if I can use it or not. It’s really, really heavy, so I don’t want to hang it in/from the tent. She did have rings added to hang the rack from. Idk maybe I can figure something out.
Any ideas on how to use it to dry?

I'd read the reviews and see how long that fan puts out moisture before buying it. If you need to raise the humidity cheaply, a Vick's Vaporizer is about $16 and puts out steam for hours. You could use that in the room the tent is in for 30 minutes every few hours.

And cannabis hardly weighs anything so I can't see the need for an industrial drying rack! Some string strung diagonally from pole to pole is how I dry in my tent.

Ok perfect, I didn’t think to put it in the room, I was only thinking inside the grow tent. I think a humidifier should work perfect then.

Yeah I did something like that the first time, but had the cannabis on hangers then hung on the string. I won’t be using the hangers this time, there really wasn’t any need for them. Lol

Will you tell me the process for harvest starting when I turn the lights out for the last time? I need a step by step play from start to finish. I’ll be devastated if I ruin it again! :nervous-guy::reading420magazine:

If you're asking me, this is how I do it:

After you turn the lights off for the last time you can leave them off until you're ready to harvest, whenever that's convenient.

Then chop, wash, hang dry with a fan on them, trim wet, and hang for the longer dry. (If you're a dry trimmer then pull off the fans while they drip dry but don't trim.)

RH in the 50s for the first day with good airflow will get the outside moisture off, then RH in the low 60s will let you hang them for 5-7 days.

Dry trim would take place when the stems snap but don't break, or if you wet trimmed then just cut the buds off and jar them with hygrometers to see where they are. Above 70%, take them out and let them sit in open air for a while and try again. 70% or under, start burping twice a day for a week, then once a day for another week, while getting the jars down to 62%.

Three weeks after harvest and settling at 62%, seal them for the long term cure with Boveda 62 in each jar. Leave them in a cool dark place for a month, then open one and enjoy!

How's that?
