Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

I use a little baby spoon to measure it out,and after
about 3 uses,it's coated in brown goo.
That's about the only downside I've found with the MC,though...it can get messy,if you let it.

I keep enough for a month in a sealed mason jar and find that works best
That's how I do it too- I try and open the big bag as little as possible.

I've got my 2.5Kg Mega Crop in four pint (500ml) Ball/Mason/ Bernardin jars for now.

BTW, all sizes are now available from their Canadian warehouse, and Amazon's Canadian site. You may want to compare shipping costs, as Amazon is more costly than Greenleaf's site.

I've noticed the balls get bigger over time,I guess from moisture in the air.
This thread is getting more interesting by the minute...

Seriously, though - Yes, I have the same problem. Well, it's not a problem, just a very minor inconvenience. I finished off the sample bag I got and opened up the 2500 gram bag I got last June. The "balls" were round in the sample I got, but these are more of an elliptical shape in the new bag. Either way, they take about the same time to dissolve. I use a small washed out horseradish jar. Put in about 1/2 full of water, then add the Mega Crop (and whatever else their majesties require at the time). Put the top on and shake vigorously for about 1-2 minute.

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing the sticky scoop
Oh, sorry. I thought you meant he medium for transferring the MC. I just leave it in the bag (the scoop), and so far, so good. But my last bag was just the 300g sampler. I should take your guy's advice and move this 2500g bag to a more airtight container.

I measure mine on a scale with a piece of paper on top. I'll use the paper maybe 4-5 times, then get a new one. It definitely sticks to it a bit more after each measurement.

I use a stainless steel condiment cup and rinse it and the spoon in the nutrient solution.

I just sit the pill bottle on the scale before I turn it on, so it zeros, then add however much MC I need.
Add a little warm water to the bottle, shake it up a bit,and dump it into the jug.
(sorry for the crappy pic)

It's Monday update time!
The girls are doing great-the Purple Punch is still stretching, although she's finally slowing down a bit...And the GDPxGB finally started flowering a couple of days ago (40 days old) and is just starting to stretch...(PP rear,GDPxGB in front)
1.JPG

They're a week apart age-wise,which doesn't seem like much, but with these autos,it makes a big difference...although I think the GDPx is going to catch up in 3 or 4 days-she's grown an inch and a half since this time yesterday...
2.JPG

I tried my hand at supercropping (bending) the PP this week-did fairly well-I only almost broke off two branches out of 8 or so...
4.JPG

Even the branches that almost broke off didn't slow down a bit-
5.JPG

I'll be doing a little thinning on the PP this week,as soon as I'm sure she's done stretching.

Here's a couple of out of the box shots-I think they'll be the same size by next week's update...
right now, there's about 7 inches difference between the 2...

GDPxGB

I'm going to start spreading the PP out a little so there's no wasted space or light in the box.
The GDPxGB is spreading herself out,so it's going to get real tight in there, but I expected that-

They're both getting 6 grams of Mega Crop every watering-so every three days for the PP,and every 4 days for the GDPxGB.
I'm not using anything "extra" on these girls, they're getting nothing but Mega Crop, start to finish-I toasted one of my last plants with too much phosphorous, and I'd like to not do that again. :)

You may remember, I did the quadlines a little different on these to see if it would make them grow into a rectangular shape,to maybe fit in the box a little better- well,it didn't really make any difference at all, so I'd say it's not really worth doing, at least it wasn't for these 2.

Enough about the little girls, now lets take a look at the "bigger" girl outside...(Ms.Cheese)

8.jpg

She actually grew an inch this week,so she's 4 feet tall now-she's concentrating on the buds now,and most of the older large fan leaves are turning yellow and falling off.
She's getting 14 grams of Mega Crop in 2 gallons of water every 3 days now...and loving it.

Her main bud is starting to fill out now
9.jpg

And her lower buds are also fattening nicely, and starting to frost up a little
10.jpg

Still no bugs on her, except for those little jumping spiders and a few ants...
I really don't know how much longer she's got...I'm just going to go by trichome color...
Hopefully, the weather stays fairly mild until she's done...it got down to 40f last night, but it's supposed to warm up a little later on in the week...

That's about it for this update-the plants are all doing what they're supposed to,and if they're happy,I'm happy...

Thanks for looking,I really appreciate the support!
Happy Growing everyone!:peace:

Thanks, Mr.S !
In just the last week she's gotten serious about the flowering thing-now if bud rot doesn't rear it's ugly head,it should be fairly smooth sailing from here on in...
