Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

It’s like looking at a Victoria Secret catwalk for plants!
Thanks, TraLa !-
I'll post up some naked ChemDog pics tomorrow, after I strip her...fanleaves. ;)

Looking great! Lots of nice tops on that auto, and those outdoor girls look "spot on" too.:welldone:

Thanks,Beez! There'll be one less tomorrow....
Can’t wait!
Last time, I decided on Netflix over pre trimming- this time I will get it done this evening, I'll start on it in about an hour...
Have you grown/tried this Chem before? Exciting!
I haven't, but the seed supplier (@13goody13  ) says she's gonna be a heavy hitter!
she's definitely going to be a good yielder- hard to tell (until she's naked) but those colas are pretty effin big!
All looks great indoors and outdoors
Thanks, Smokey- Next year, I'm going to start a little earlier, so I'm not still harvesting in November!

Nice catwalk carcass!
Wedding Cheesecake auto
Looks on point!
I upped the MegaCrop to 5g/gal. yesterday
Seems reasonable :).
the powdery mildew seems to be under control
:yahoo:
Lastly, the ChemDog#4-She's 128 days old, flowering for 62 days...Her trichomes are at about 10% amber, so she's getting chopped within the next couple days...
:yahoo:
an upside down bottom bud
Well hung!
I'll remove her big fanleaves this afternoon/evening, to maybe speed tomorrow's harvest up a bit...or not...
Good luck! I never manage to do that any more and end up having to stand there and take them off when I really want to just cut the plant down.

I have to admit I got a little dizzy scrolling through the upside down bud! Looking beautiful!
Thanks, Boo!
Yeah, they're dropping like flies... 8 hours later, she's got 4 more upside downers...I'd try and stake them up if she weren't going on the chopping block in the morning....

Looking great carcass!!

Who was that, your daughter getting married? When was that date postponed to?

how was the debate? I like the idea of joe rogans where he has both trump and Biden on his podcast show with just the three of them, having a real debate with no reporters distracting them.

Thanks, BL!
It was my youngest son- they did go ahead and get married in a family-only ceremony on April 4th- the little family get-together 2 weeks ago was their postponed reception- there was about 35 people there, who did a fair job of social distancing/mask wearing. I was feeling generous that day, so 8 of the (lucky) guests each got a half an ounce of my last Alaskan Purple harvest- funny, I overheard my son telling one of his friends "Ask my dad for some pot- he'll give you a lot" :)

The "debate" was a total shitshow , as expected- I didn't see it (doing some preliminary trimming on the ChemDog) but I heard it. I wish I could un hear it...
:laughtwo: good one Backlip!

:laugh::rofl:

ChemDog#4 Harvest-

While I'm here, Here's some pics of the ChemDog#4 harvest, which, of course, took
me way too long to do- 9 hours start to finish- about an hour of that was washing the buds

Before any trimming- 129 days old, flowering for 63 days, fed only MegaCrop....

Here she is after her preliminary fanleaf removal- That cat hung with me all day- I think he really likes the smell of this one.

And after trimming (she's naked, as promised, @TraLa ;))
1601580829092.jpeg

And a big ol' tray o' colas:

And the skeleton:

I didn't get any pics of the bud wash- my camera battery went dead and I forgot to put it on the charger till it was too late-
So...here she is hanging in the closet.
2 reasons why I'm not doing the low n' slow fridge dry method with this one- I don't have enough bags, and those larger colas won't fit in the bags anyway...The Dr.S. is still in the fridge, about 2/3 of the way dry.

1601581326272.jpeg

Here's a wet weight on the main cola- 6.5 oz- doesn't mean much- there's quite a bit of stem there...
1601581438076.jpeg

One more shot of another one of the main colas- there's 10 or 11 of 'em this size...
1601581627981.jpeg

And that's about all for this harvest- Thanks again to @13goody13 for the seed that made this one possible!

She was a real easy plant to grow- Even in a little 3 gallon pot- No pests at all except for a few caterpillars that only ate leaves, she was immune to powdery mildew....and she produced a shitload of weed!

Thanks for Looking, I hope everyone's week is going well!:peace:

:yahoo::drool:Looks beautiful. Congrats on yet another awesome harvest. Will have to pick some of your brains soon on the 'low n slow' drying method. Got a big frost free fridge freezer stood in the spare room with just a few mushroom spores in storage, so plenty of space for future harvests.

Looking awesome! Giving me a bud boner over here :laughtwo:
That was a really good strain to grow (and it loves lots of food) and some of the best smoke ever. Glad it worked out, your hands must have been very sticky!

Thanks for the kind words,Vet!

It does seem to be working well- when I just hang the buds in the closet, they're usually dry in 4.5-5 days
in the fridge, I think they're going to take about ten days- the buds come out looking real nice too, from drying in the bags instead of hanging- just remember to shake 'em up every day.
I may end up putting the biggest ChemDog colas in there after they hang in the closet for a few days, I'll just have to shorten them a little, so they fit :)

It was great to grow, and yeah, she was a real hungry one- 7 grams of MegaCrop every day for the whole time she was flowering- and she probably could've taken more...
Actually, trimming the whole plant in the pot really made it a lot less messy than usual...
And did you know hand sanitizer works great for goo removal?- it really does the trick, and after the reception, I've literally got gallons of the stuff:)

Me too!
bud boner
LOL. That’s the first time I’ve read that around here.

Yes! Discovered that a couple weeks ago while trimming Cinderella. Works great! :thumb:
That Chemdog was ah-mazing! I have a freebie Chemdog auto... Maybe... :cheesygrinsmiley:

I overheard my son telling one of his friends "Ask my dad for some pot- he'll give you a lot"
LOL! Who doesn't love a weeding wedding :)
Here's some pics of the ChemDog#4 harvest
Wowza, that is a beautiful plant with the leaves off! Well done on the harvest but sorry about the 9 hours.
an hour of that was washing the buds
An hour? Were you scrubbing with a toothbrush to get the ash off?
a few caterpillars that only ate leaves,
Nice house guests your caterpillars are.
Will have to pick some of your brains soon on the 'low n slow' drying method.
Best summary of low and slow that I've found is here by MrSauga.
Giving me a bud boner over here
Said no son to his dad ever!
