Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

You grow with such beauty, Boo. You really do.

You honour Mother Nature and for me that’s what growing is all about. Taking pride in your plants and your grow areas, while trying your best to make your plants sing with joy.

Well done gorgeous :)

Congrats on the harvest Boo and those spears on the PUD are just beautiful. All the best for the remainder of that outdoor grow.

Congrats on the Dream Queen harvest, Boo! As someone who experienced a lot of bud rot last year, I'm happy you chopped early.

Hi all! Happy Monday. We’ve had such glorious weather here for the last couple of weeks….it has caused me to get Dream Queen‘s humidity levels much lower than I want! I’ll update that later in the week. Right now I’m focused on Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Shes gorgeous and smells divine….and I can’t believe I’m going into October with a plant still standing! I need to go back and confirm, but I think this is my longest season for any outdoor plant? She’s is looking great and the buds are starting to get solid. The weather here has been in the low 80s and 70s during the day and in the 40s and 50s overnight. PUDC has been dropping fan leaves but that’s not surprising. I found a tiny bit of budrot on a lower larfy bud this morning soooo, her time may be limited. I also found this:

It is definitely a pupae. There have been a lot of moths around here lately and I did find a couple bigger caterpillars on her last week. Im thinking about harvesting her this weekend. She’s looking fairly cloudy and she’s a Sativa leaning gal so…:cheesygrinsmiley:

Still trying to get that glamour/glitter shot. Still no joy on how she really looks In that afternoon sun.

There appears to be a lot of cloudy there so, despite the hurricane remnants dousing this area over the weekend, I may go ahead and take her down. Now on to the fall grow.

This is the second Tangie’matic seed from Fastbuds. She is 12 days old and is already healthier and more importantly has a much more robust root system underneath her than the first one did. I replanted a Tangie and a C4 after the first two stunted….the second C4 never came up. So, I decided to try a favorite again..I present Purple Lemonade!

She was my last seed and I’m so happy she has graced me with her presence. Hopefully these ladies slide effortlessly into my autumn grow. I think that’s it for tonight. Thanks so much for looking!:peace:

Congrats on the new sprout! I'm going to live vicariously through your fall grow if that's okay.

Oof!

I'd go with the BT spray rather than an early harvest, but if you think it's ready from the trichs then down it comes. 🪓
Still no joy on how she really looks In that afternoon sun.
That's just you. We're getting plenty of joy from those pics. :)

What Shed said about the pics!

P Lemonade, one of my favs too! Congrats on the baby.

I dunno- those pics sure put a smile on  my face!
And congrats on the little ones- can't wait to see you work your magic on them...:adore:

Congrats on the babies, Boo! I hope your new Purple Lemonade turns out as well as your last one did.

Hi all. This momma is pooped! We have remnants of hurricane Ian swirling up this way, and I have to say I’m so glad I’m not living in FL and so, so sorry for those that are right now. With rain starting tomorrow morning and 3 inches expected over the next three days I just couldn’t leave that beautiful Pineapple upside Down Cake out there to fend for herself. I found a little more budrot yesterday and decided to go for it. What a beautiful plant she was. I found a few little areas of budrot while I was trimming, most of it on her lower branches and not enough to even call it 1/4 ounce dry. I am so, so pleased by this lady. She gave me the great harvest that I was looking for: a beautiful plant with a beautiful bounty! :yahoo: Ok. Here are a few pics.

The bones. I did not do any training on this gal since she had a really nice structure. I did top her…but whatever I did she ended up with 3 main colas, no stump! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I‘m drying in the bathroom since I’ve got seedlings in the mud room and the humidity has been really low so I’ve got a humidifier running there to please those little babies. Check out the funky, space age 1990 Koehler bathtub in there. Its like a Star Trek kinda thing. Sea foam Green. I fucking love it, not sure why.:laughtwo: It’s after 7 pm and I’m going to cook this:

And then I’m going to VOTE in the 420 contests before I forget! Be safe out there and happy end of September! :peace:

She couldn't of done it without you, Boo!
Congrats on an exceptional harvest, what a beautiful plant she was...:welldone:
I’m going to cook this:
Yum! Ribeye?

Sweet harvest just in time Boo! She was a beauty! I hope you're not in the direct path when it comes back! Enjoy that steak!
Thanks SO. She was a beauty! I’m not in the direct path just on the periphery of a LOT of rain and wind.
She couldn't of done it without you, Boo!
You know what? You are right! She couldn’t have! Yay for me! :yahoo:
Yum! Ribeye?
Yup!
Yum, meat
Mmmmmmm….
Oh, excellent timing on the harvest with Ian and the bud rot coming your way. Those branches are so fresh and green and dripping all over Johnny Depp. :)

Here's to a successful summer grow at your new home, and that the hurricane brings you not a lick of damage.
Lol. I knew you would recognize the Johnny Depp/ Orlando Bloom towel. Funny the kind of stuff you find when you move. The weather is definitely different in my new home and Im not complaining! 🤞 On Ian’s path through Central VA. I think it will be wet and cold and that’s just fine with me! I’ve got plenty of yarn to keep me busy….:cheesygrinsmiley:

Congrats on the harvest Boo! You've finally got the PUC upside down (or most of it anyway).

Where did you live prior to Central Va.?

Thanks GDB. I moved about an hour West of where our farm was last year. I’m now West of Charlottesville instead of South, and am in more of the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Before that I lived in NOVA for 20+ years.
Were you are now is a lovely part of the country!

I rented a place in the mountains 2 years ago. The Mrs. did fine going up the mountain to the house. However, she had a panicky fit coming back down! Kept grabbing the dashboard and stomping on her imaginary brake pedal. :laughtwo:
