Hi again! Now for an update on the two little autos. If you’ve been watching this thread for the last month you will have seen that I started a Tangie and a C4 auto and both turned out to be little duds. I replanted the same two seeds again and the Tangie came up but the C4 didn’t….
So, I planted my last Purple Lemonade and she came up like a boss. Here we go: Tangie was born on Sept 14th, which makes her 5 weeks old today. She had a lot of roots going on in her cup but not a lot of growth outside of the cup so I up potted her a week ago and gave her PB nutes at full strength for a seedling and she’s had a little burst of growth.
Her color is great.
She’s a puny little thing for being 5 weeks old!
No signs of flower yet. Yep, there is a little pistil showing there!
Sauga view - when I zoom in on that pic it looks like there may be a little pistil showing.
I need to go back down when the lights are on and have another look at that! There sure is a pistil showing! Need to find my trimmers and take her head off!
Shes got about a 4” wingspan. I’m going to go ahead and see how she plays out - but only because she’s looking healthy and has improved since the up pot and feeding.
Now for the Purple Lemonade: she was born on 25 September which makes her about 3.5 weeks old. No signs of flower yet. She also had a lot of roots in her cup so I went ahead and up potted her last Wednesday too. I don’t normally run my auto grows
this way (I usually wait for signs of flower and then top and up pot) but I just got the feeling I should up pot them both and get them fed really well.
She’s got really nice node separation and I believe my last one also had those large twisty leaves.
She is a little taller than Tangie, and definitely wider.
She’s a gorgeous little plant. I’ve been trying to get the environment in my tent dialed in and have had a warm mist humidifier running in it. It’s been helpful adding a little warmth but I think it has gotten a little salt build up in the tank and needs to be cleaned out because it’s too steamy. Lol.
@Virgin Ground suggested a heat mat and also switching my light schedule to run them during the coldest part of the day and that seems to be helping! I think that’s it for the auto post. Thanks for watching my journal!
Thanks GDB! I was exhausted after those harvests.
Thanks Carmen. It was a fairly non eventful summer grow. I liked that!
Thanks HH! Lots O’ weed in jars here!
Thanks HG! MEEEE Tooo! I finally did it!
Thanks Shed. I was pretty surprised by the 18.5. I thought maybe a pound. No complaints here! The potential for that kind of yield is really the only reason I grow outside in the summer. I think 2 photo plants outdoors will be the norm during the summer for me from now on.
