I also so a fine mist with pure essential oils, peppermint, rosemary, cedarwood, lemongrass, not directly on the plants but around the floor and vents, inside and outside the tent, more of a preventative, I've done a lot of research on oils, I actually use on a daily basis, internally and externally, but you gotta get the absolute pure stuff. I am confident with my oils and hope I am right about using as a pest preventive and treatment if needed.

Well I'll start with my equipment,

4x8x6.5 grow tent
Mars hydro tsw 2000w
1000w super hps
4" exhaust fan and filter
Soon to have a 6" duct booster fan running in from a cool insulated water pump room
Two 6" clip on fans
5 gallon cloth pots
Food, general hydroponics (3 part flora grow, micro, bloom), rapid start, cal mag and koolbloom dry.

Plants, 4 auto flower, Early Miss,
3 Cinderella 99,
1 Headband.
These will be my first harvest, the auto flower in one half and the Cinderella and Headband in other half of tent,
I also have a Rockstar that will be cloned and hopefully ready to replace the auto flower when finished. I have read that auto flower will flower even on 18 hour light cycle, as mine have already after just over 3 weeks from seed, my plan is to keep them under 18 hours for a couple more weeks so I can veg the Cinderella and Headband longer, then I will switch to 12 hour light cycle. I've been keeping a record as best I can and I will post it from the start when I can, I started germinating seeds January 1st.

Anticipating spreading these branches apart when they get longer, 34 days from germinating. Cinderella and Headband.

Got my 6" duct booster fan running, now I can close the tent up tight and the temp is holding steady at 24.1c
Early Miss are on full bloom food and Cinderella and Headband still on vegetative food.

I really need to get working on my seed/clone box so I can get these scattered plants out of the tent, I am preparing for grow #2 with them, rockstar, gorilla glue #4, northern lights. Will start another (better than this one) journal with these ones.

So after buying the tent and lights and supplies I wanted to get another tent for clones and seedlings to get ready for the tent when finished plants come out, but my bank account said F U, so I got working on this project...
I had some fan fold, 3" wide gorilla tape for light blockage and to strengthen the box itself, it's a really lite material, fan fold...

So after almost 2 rolls of gorilla tape I was done spending 18 bucks a roll, I had a mural for a custom van or car, I had since 1983 and never used it, so to cover up more space on the door of the box..

Another DIY lol
So I liked those little platforms that sit in the trays and keeps your pots about a inch off the tray, but at 11 bucks a pop, well you know the bank account lol, so I cut the bottom inch off some pop bottles and spread them out under the pots, they are stable and if I pick a pot up i lift it straight up, not much hassle keeping them in place.

And air flow under the pots, I have time sitting here laid off from work, dabbing homemade rosin from my outdoor last year, the ideas keep coming lol

Just got them before lights out, I have my hps and duct booster fan turning off 4 minutes before my led and exhaust and fans, I figure it gives the hps time to cool down before everything turns off, and everything turns on opposite of this, if this is not a good plan I'm all in for feedback, I'm here to learn and grow from what I see so far is a group full of awesome human beings, my respect for everyone in this group is from the heart.

The temperature stayed at 22.9c with the tent closed up, temp outside cooler basement, humidity stayed at 42%, so now with lights out the temperature is 20.7c, humidity 51%, the highest it's climbed is 70% before lights on. The heater is set to come on at 18c.

Cloned the top of the Headband and one bottom branch, and a clone from the bottoms of each Cinderella, the nodes up top are so close it's hard for me to take a top clone, I also snipped the tops of 2 Cinderella, I'm hoping to get the bottoms to stretch up some before I switch the light cycle over to 12/12, Food is ready for morning same as last feeding except I added half the amount of recommend koolbloom dry, for the Early Miss, this is 39 days since germinating, ph is at 6.2, temp is holding steady at 22.9 with light's on, got up to 24 when I got the woodstove going to keep the chill off tonight, it's minus 20c outside, with light's on humidity was at 40% most of the day, it's going up to just below 70% with light's out.
It's my first try at snipping the tops, I'll add some picks, if I did anything wrong I appreciate the feedback, I think there's a name for it other than snipping the tops but I can't think of it right now lol, cheers...

They are still feeling heavy and probably will still be tomorrow from what I've been paying attention to, I'll make food tomorrow so it's ready when they are.

The autos are smelling sweet, I'd like to trim some leaves off tomorrow on a couple to open up some, I know they are small but they are getting bigger than I thought they were gonna lol,
I did a little defoliation on the photos and released the main tie downs holding them down, they never moved any, I figured they wouldn't, I'd really like them to stretch up so I can flip the lights, patience is what I have, still anxious tho lol,
