building a pc now is like childs play compared to say the 90s remember trying to find drivers? going online was a last resort cuz it could mean pc death, that is if you had drivers for your nic card and could get the right hardware handshaking protocols didnt forget 75 different settings baud rates had to be set just right .i fell in love with win2k when it came out win me was the toy os that had to be reinstalled every 3 months,remember getting internet working on 95? or even better 3.1 lol took me a week on my first 3.1 machine and i remember being hot shit with my 36k modem that cost 75$!!

Doode, I remember when Windows 95 came out it needed 16Mb of ram to operate properly. Me being the semi nerd I am went out and bought 16MB of ram for the whopping price of $500....that's when my semi-love affair with computers and the web came into being. I immediately learned the tricks of the new system and found myself tutoring people for $35 an hour...I also did a couple of web page designs for people. Then I built my first 'puter, it was all downhill after that. I used to have my own web address and all but don't find it necessary anymore with FB and all. I spend more time here or at pokerstars than FB. I'm sure glad things came down in price and are getting quicker. Remember taking all night to download a 1Mb file?? Arrrrrgh!

I downloaded 60MB over a 56k modem... WITHOUT A DL MANAGER... That was the worst 24 hours of my downloading life. Now Win7 has a 10MB Download pre cache, just in case you click on the link.

omg i hated downloading back then before dl mgrs one time i remember a 47 hour dl getting 99% done and the power blinked!! it was some 100mb file now i can get that in 10 min lol oh oh oh remember the first time you watched a vid on ur pc!? EPIC!! i once paid 400 for 4mb ram !! i had the fastest dos 9 machine in town with my 14.4 kbs blazing fast modem gawd it was so fun! still is! lol my tablet is 100 times faster than my first 386 , witch blew the doors off my old 286 ,can you imaging if i could time travel to old err um young me 20 yrs ago and show me this galaxy tab? i would have shit my pants and had a stroke! lol

thanks for the kind words on the girls fish n tac, im pretty happy with them atm they are looking gpod and in the get fat stage now 3-4 weeks tops
i will be starting a new journal after i harvest, or sooner focusing more on breeding ,autos,purples, etc this one is getting to long

question ppl, so im about to put the autos in their pots and considering options, should i do 3 liter hempys,1,2,3 gallon regular pots, smart pots? (as fast as autos are would they benifit from smart pots?) at what point is it just a waste of space and medium in size obviously a 20gallon pot is over kill for a plant thats done in 10 weeks max, im using my supersoil mix very heavy on the coco (65-85%) and about 1/3rd is recycled, all organic of course, what about one of those long rectangular window pots/planters i have 2 one is about 18 inches by 6 about 8 tall the other is about 2 1/2 -3 foot long 10 inches deep 10 wide it would fit 3 easily, i have 1gallon square pots and a multitude of rounds any input would be greatly appreciated

Pot size is about how much water can it retain and provide to the plants. Coir allows smaller pots, so does more frequent watering like with drip emitters & a timer/pump. Size really doesn't matter, what matters is technique.

lol this is true, thank goodness i think i have solid tech... i said solid lol i think i will try a range put 3 in the small window box 3 in smartpots, and a couple 2 or 3 liter hempys to see what does the best, i mean to get a little more jiggy with the autos, they have many features i am attracted to, but do require slightly different care

I just had some beef ribs... slow smoked for 18 hours in hickory and apple wood. Then, my own concoction of southern brown sugar sauce (not that fucking Carolina vinegar shit). A loaded baker about the size of a nerf football, and a nice . . . umm . . . adult beverage that features a toasted barley!! (gotta be careful with the censors) Licked my fingers clean, and then put on some House of Pain: HITS FROM THE BONG! and took a few nice rips to top it all off. Peach cobbler for dessert, with home style ice cream. Then a nap...

my lovely water pipe has proven to be to much for me most of the time coughing,and thc overload are the norm,spiffy makes good use of it tho,i stick to my small metal pipe and puffs on doobs, im a better grower than smoker

i have thought about it but the way i do it is i have a few external drives i keep my stuff on all my music,movies,ebooks etc,i usually have w drives identical i buy a new drive every other year and replace the oldest one (this is cuz we all know anything with moving parts will eventually fail),,so i always have my house networked all comps save to the server drives ,drives kept fresh, redundant storage,then if a pc/device fails all thats really lost is the os , i also run weekly backups of all the machines, at present i have 4 tb storage (8 tb actually) it works pretty well(unless i get lazy and forget to backup my herb iq data) i look into that thing you recommended

the tent with the scrog is on a 400 the other is a jdl 600 with 110% setting,the 400 only pulls 2-3 amps, the jdl is like 5-6 steady 10 at startup i think, thanks they are looking yellow today i think they need a little N,


so i decided to go with all square or rectangular pots makes sense to me since the tent is a rectangle, less dead unused floorspacealso be able to have more actual coco/medium avalible to the roots pots are taller and hold alot more i'll do some pics later ciao for naio
