Hey guys, just a heads up for anyone who has listened to me espouse the greatness of the Watermelon Wedding Cake from Growers Choice. I have just learned via conversation with our sponsor, @Growers Choice Seeds, that our sponsor is NOT the breeder of WWC and I have been tagging them incorrectly thinking they were the same company. Our sponsor is out of California and have one site. The GC I get the WWC from is a different company entirely who just happens to have the same name. I always thought there were fricking rules about that, lol. It’s bad enough that you can find different hybrids with tha same name. I thought it was different for companies. But I felt it important to clarify since I’ve said it many times. Thanks.

I'll PM you the place in Cali I spoke to. On finding out a) I wasn't registered with the DEA b) The DEA doesn't have jurisdiction in Thailand they said sorry but no. Anyone actually in the US they seemed not care about how or where you were growing.

The Terp King was here Sunday. Bought 20g off us (weighed to 25g) finished it in 12 hours and flew to Bangkok.

These are SFV OG Kush - San Fernando Valley OG crossed with OG Kush, looks to me and him like a little kief treatment to improve. Its a 19% Sativa dom hybrid. But nicely grown for sure.

The white one is called “Snow” its some type of moon rock he reckons.

He’s just landed in Spain where he’s going to do a quick hydro grow with some people there before back to Straya for outdoor season again.

Speaking to farmer mate at the same time (The Terp King gives good gossip 😅) he reckons that from his understanding specifically above 23% the terps are gone. The taste is sacrificed at the altar of THC production.

The Future #1 I bought for sure. I had teo vapes off it. OK strong but nothing interesting. No off kilter thought patterns. No emotion. No fun really. I just threw it in pile I have on a tray of leftovers. Not even in a jar. Might try a bong of it. Maybe that will make it more interesting.

I’m sure it will sell though I get anything over 25%

The Terp King paid 1800 baht a gram for each of the two grams - SVF OF Kush and Snow.

That’s $50 a gram. For comparison he paid $55 for 20g (but got 25g) from us of 18% legit weed.

Having the shop soon, think lease signing is Friday or Saturday - jeez what if ai get greedy and start selling at $50 a gram as well 🤣

I have 10L of 99% Food Grade Ethanol downstairs. I fancy making some real moonrocks. Weed, oil and kief. Seen them as high as $70 a gram.

I just took a close look at your pics, and just for me, it’s still too early even if you want them at peak thc. If you look at your pics in the background of the buds you can still see lots of half clear trichomes. I resist the urge and let those puppies fill up. Then once it’s all white I decide on how much amber I want in that particular plant. I won’t go as far as to say it’s an art form, but it is sort of a skill you want to have. My experience says to looks close and look deep, and no matter what the buds look like on the outside, when growing indoors under LED, trichomes rule. They rarely lie. FWIW.

Thank you Jon, as a new grower, I really, really, appreciate you taking the time to not only respond but to offer your valued opinion. It means a lot to me. Experience is the one thing I cannot buy, and I think a lot of growers forget how valuable that knowledge is to someone who doesn’t have it. I’ll keep an eye on em and see how they progress. I certainly didn’t mean to hijack this post but, I’m glad I did.. lol

Need to put in your DOB to view. This is where I think he bought it from. He was staying on Sukhumvit Rd - everyone does.

Take Cereal Milk - RQS say 24%. That's a show piece bud and they only got it to 21%. The best bud of their whole crop.

30% plus is just dunno! Not happening.

Top one and bottom ones. There’s no rush and this patience is the hardest part to me, lol. But if you wait you’ll be happier. I forget who told me, I think maybe it was @Absorber, this:

I am always happy when I wait. I am often disappointed when I take them early.

Or thereabouts, lol. Anyway, they were right. Imho, you should wait at least a couple days.

Hopefully in 6 weeks I'll have my own strain - gonna call it "Mars WRAP" mars (take you to - plus grown under @Mars Hydro - not that they show me much love!) but W.R.A.P - Work Rest And Play"

So seeds in 6 weeks is late May. Harvest early August? I really want a full test for terps and everything done - maybe I can arrange in September? Stealth shipping or something done in the US/Can.

I haven't looked at any trichomes for 15+ years. For me it's a "chasing your tail" practice where the grower look for reasons to harvest early.

There's inherited flaws like some parts of the flowers ripe way earlier than others and you're only able to look at trichomes closest to the light source and the outer elements. It's impossible to see ripeness on the trichomes inside of the flowers.

There's better markers for ripeness like pistil and flower cluster maturity but I believe many people start at the wrong end with chasing ambers.

My thoughts are it sounds delicious. And potent. Easy 32-33%. :rofl:

True, some do. Then some do as I do. I use the trichomes as my first indicator, but always take the two things you mentioned into account as well. Usually they all come together if you wait.

So I decided I wanted to get the hosue and then & Co joined me and 7/11 and then she wanted a drink so I went back to the dispensary opposite and turns out its owned by a mate, well acquaintance. He’s Belgian and owns a great restaurant and cocktail place that sells the best meatballs I’ve ever had in my life. In fact I should order them tomorrow.

Its the same as rhe 1800 baht stuff the Terp King bought. 60%. Its definitely rolled in something. I paid 1200 baht $33 for 1.2 I think. We’re acquaintances, right?

Tastes of chemical and maybe if you reach for flavour citrus? Its badically like a dab of speed.

Quite dull.

Nice bit of luck the bar owner is a dispensary owner as well and has given up weed though. Saw my Storz & Bickel Crafty+ vape and said oh ai have teo hardy used Mighty+ - $120 each? Legit ones not the Chinese ones…

They’re nearly $500 new so yep I took one off his hands. They’re just a bit bigger and more powerful and more awesome - mine broke as the Chinese ones. But all the parts the same so have all new bits to service it.

And got two grams of new deliveries as I was in the store.

These are more indica obvs! But Intell you what the best weed ai’ve ever smelt in a shop. They’d been in the fridge until my buddy arrived to sign for them. Tobacco and jackfruit for one and dank jungle fruit the other.

I’ll need them to knock this Snow stuff on the head!
