420fied sorry about the delay in getting back here I been very busy with harvest. I see you flushed and thats good I want you to check for slime. Your system will require this sensizym to maintain your roots. Your burn looks like a combo problem. Pm me, I check those first and will be watching.:grinjoint:

I foliar fed them 1/2 Teaspoon of garden lime dissolved in RO water and ph'd at 6.... they don't look that bad. The reason they look like they are drooping is because I'm training them into the net now. They are still growing fast.

420fied, Quick question for you. Might be a silly one but I am thinking about my setup and it popped into my head. Do the 2 inch Neoprene holders restrict the stems so that the stems only can grow so thick? Its seems to me they would get very tight eventually, Not sure if that matters or not. Sorry if it's a silly question.

I think that is a legitimate question because I had the very same one. Surprisingly, the neoprene holders will clutch your clone and hold it tight yet will give enough to let your plant grow it's girth without restriction.

As long as your stalk doesnt get to be more than 2" in diameter(you'd have to veg for 6 months....lol), you'll be fine.

just took a picture of the canopy. As a longtime soil grower I am amazed at how fast these plants have grown. Here's the breakdown:

Clones were cut and placed on May 4th
The first roots sprouted on May 10th
Today is the 23rd day since they have shown roots and they are already in the net which is 14 inches above the pipes.

I know that my picture updates will be pretty boring until I flip the lights and show you guys some serious bud porn. However, I dug 2 holes today so I'm gonna mix in a little outdoor project here too.... This will also be my first attempt at growing outdoors. I'll place the plants in a few days and be sure to take my camera along.

I've consulted with Soniq, Irie, Earl, and a few other experienced guys on various sites and I've adjusted my ph after calibrating my meter along with a nice lime bath(foliar). Thanks to everyone that had input. I think they are already looking better.

room temp- 70
res temp- 66
PH- 5.8
PPM- 500

Overall I am really happy with the way my first attempt at Aero/Hydro is going and I think they look pretty good even with a touch of calcium lockout.

The plants are looking so healthy, and I am also amazed at how fast they are growing. I think I may have to run out and start buying my supplies. I love growing outside and I think a always will but your set up will go along with the outside growing very nicely... Great job. Inspiring you are...

Woah, look at that there. Goodness graces your garden. When were you planning to go 12? Expect a growth 'surge' while your girls get all the way sexy. Your lush green growth makes me feel good but glad its not me deciding and doing the shoot shuffle in your monster scrog.

I've got a little ways to go before I flip the lights. I'm guessing that by the end of June I'll switch the lights but I'm not sure.

Once the screen is 50-60% full I'll flip. The strain I'm growing is Indica dominant so the stretch isnt crazy(I've grown it before).

Did you ever figure out what was going on with your leaves?

I had a similar looking condition that Pan4 identified as nute lockout, most likely from PH swings from my bad tap water. I had to buy an R/O system to correct it, but since you are already running R/O, maybe it was just the low PH.

Amazing growth rate. They will be trees by the end of June!

we identified it as Cal lockout due to an uncalibrated ph monitor(I'm a moron), and roots laying in the res. I pushed the roots back into the pipes per Earl and adjusted my ph. It seems to have worked as they are looking better.

If I wasnt going to scrog these I would have had to flip the lights a week ago to keep them at 36 inches finished.

Roots, Rock, Reggae. Could the old stories be true? Are the roots medically active? Yours look like salad bar stuff. Wish I could properly quote my source, but those internal links seem to prefer their own agenda in my 'ole head'. Topical use for arthritis or ligament strain pain.
Has Earl changed MOA, or does he chide you for the screen?

Looking good. What size inch is the holes in the scrog net? 1 or 2 inch. I just bought some netting but it's 1 inch. I thought maybe I bought mine to small.
