4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG - 1200 Watts

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

I'm fascinated by the SCROG, weaving and pulling back and evening everything out.

Looks like a lot of work

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

can you give us a couple more pics of the scrog? under the canopy? roots again maybe? would love some close up of how you attach them to the screen.

thx 420fied,
looking awesome!

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

The screen is starting to fill up fast. The plants showed roots exactly 30 days ago yet I'm going to have to make a decision soon. The screen is approaching 50%.

I don't really have any good closeup "attach to the screen" pics. At this point I'm simply trainig them along the underside of the net. I don't weave my scrogs like some. I keep the plant under the screen. When I have to make a severe bend or get an internode to a particular hole I will use twist ties but I'm not to that point yet.

There isnt much light getting through the canopy at this point. Soon I'll start removing some of the fan leaves under the screen. I won't take bunches at a time but I will slowly but surely remove the growth under the screen.

PPM is now 600, PH is 5.6, room temp is 70, res temp is 66.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Yeah, i think when people reference 75% full screen for a scrog light switch, their plants arent growing as efficient and fast as your's are. I'd switch it now. I can't wait to see how big these buds get.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

yeah, thats exactly what i was hoping for.

you scrog looks great. i grew a scrog, but i topped each plant like 4 or 5 times to get all the branches even, instead of letting the top run under the screen. . . i think i like your way better.

I'm looking forward to seeing this through.

looking good buddy

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Thanks guys and gals..... late night update.

It was time to take some of the foliage under the net. It was a jungle and needed to be done.

After a 30 minute trim session things are actually starting to look like a real SCROG.

The canopy is getting large enough that I'm going to start running the other 600 watter next week.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Good job on the under trim. Aww man, this is gonna be a mega harvest for you if you have another light to put on 'em. Looks great.

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Looking very nice. You really know what you are doing. Great job..

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

420fied, question since you seem to be an expert. Have you heard anything about fogponics and if it is worth while to try out?

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Yes sir. I'll be adding my 2nd 600 watter very soon. 1200 watts on a 4x5 net.

30 ounces is do-able, don't you think?

I was hoping you'd get some replies to this question. I'm always interested in ratios and results.

There's a lot of experienced growers watching this, what are your rules of thumb in this area?

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Looking good 420. When you trim all the underneath growth under the net did you cut off stems that had bud sites on them? I'm just trying to get some knowledge before I get my scrog on. Thanks man
