4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG - 1200 Watts

Re: 4inch PVC Aero/NFT 4x5 SCROG (1200 Watts)

Great thread, worth reading twice. These indicas better slow down, but if you say they will I tend to believe ya there. so long as the roots don't actually clog up the PVC i'd say just put a screen up to keep them outta the res and keep it up can't wait to see the end result.

Thanks for stopping by.

I don't want the Indicas to slow down. I'm using a net so there's no concern for vertical space.

I planned on placing some screening on the pipes today to prevent the roots from gaining access to the res. I firmly believe that the roots in the res was the root of my lockout problem even moreso than the ph.........

but I never got around to it so I'll do it tomorrow.

Once I removed the roots from the res, the plants immediately showed improvement. They are looking much better.

That setup is pretty much legit. It is amazing how stoners come up with the best grow ideas. NASA needs to think about hiring some potheads.

Thanks bro but Earl is the guru when it comes to this setup. He should get all of the design credit. I simply copied his concept and adapted it to my situation. He taught me the ins and outs. However, I do agree that stoners come up with amazing stuff.

Check out Heath Robinsons vertical tube grow... that dude is a beast!

I hope you'll stick around for some bud porn.

Still looking very, very nice.

Being new to this I am amazed at what you all come up with. One day when I learn a heck of lot more I may contribute something as wonderful and informative as you both have. Great job and thanks for the great journal.

Looking forward to the next round of pics!

Thanks for stopping by.

It's been raining here for 2 straight days. Today it finally broke so I went and dug a couple of holes. I've got 2 mothers that are about 18 inches tall and I'm going to put them outside and see what happens.

I'm not going to run 2 journals at once..... this is simply a little 1 man, 2 plant project. But if they both make it I could stand to harvest another pound or so which would be just fine by me.

Anyway here's my site:

I have 2 holes just like this one

The countryside has been logged and there are hundreds of cut logging roads. The land is rugged and remote. No ATV's travel in here and this particular company owns THOUSANDS of acres. They simply buy the land and then timber it and then leave it sit. There is very little hunting pressure on this land.

The sun is supposed to pop through tomorrow and if it does I'm going to go plant the girls. I'll be sure and take pics for you.

This sure would be a nice added bonus come harvest time if they make it!

Very nice, What a beautiful place you have to grow. If the place my plants are was that beautiful I think I would pitch a tent and spend the next couple month hanging out with them. Cant wait to see those grow. Good luck...

Sorry if they look a little ragged. I drove them there last night and had them covered. Hopefully they will make it. Depending on the rain we get, I'll most likely go back within 3 weeks and take update pictures for you. Keep your fingers crossed!

Also.... while the picture updates are rather boring while I'm training the plants into the net; the scrog is doing just fine.

Once again they look great and congrats on getting you plants in the ground. I hope the weather, animals and pest leave them alone. Good luck and look forward to seeing those babies grow...
