I did it at the end of my last grow, and am doing it in my current grow at 45 days into flower.
You could continue to do it with a 12 week flower, just space it out a bit.
All you're really doing is replicating what happens naturally, days getting shorter, tells plants to put out, or get out!

I have been useing dlr the last 2 grows. I'am down to 11hrs now on my grow and will hold at 10/14

That's some infomation I'll have to go over and research. It sounds pretty straight forward. When I first heard Gas Lamp Routine, I thought somebody was using a coleman lantern to use to give thier plants CO2 (which I have thought about). I glanced over the general topic. But, never gave it much thought. Especially since I was just starting into Veg and was focusing on getting them through that without too many issues.

So keep up the good work! Big reps and big likes! Was wondering about your light schedule. Just got some clones from a liberty haze which according to some people will be hard to clone, as well as its being done in soil but hey seeing your month clones gives the inspiration never to give up! When flowering set in you gave them 36 hours of darkness? Got a PC stealth box where the plan is to flower the plants from the start. Question to you then is go dark after clones have roots then hit them with 12/12 light straight away?

I suppose you could. But, my question is ..... were your ladies sexually mature when you took the clones?? If they were mature, you can throw them into 12/12 right away and they will flower right away .. since they are also mature. But, if they were not sexually mature when you took the cuttings, then you would need to veg them for a while till they get old enough to flower. Then flip them. I suppose you could 12/12 from day 1, but not sure how that would affect the immature plant trying to grow more vegitation.

I'm sure someone much smarter than me will come along shortly and fill in the blanks for both of us.


Now that you ask me ..... I'm going to have to go find a proper answer ..... LOL. I'll post up the answer unless someone beats me to it.

OK ..... so am I seeing things. Or, are these pistils?? I think i've got the start of flowers here. But not sure .... since i've never seen one in person before.

So what do ya think?? Pistils or are they just stipules??

I'm pretty sure they are pistils. But, they are soooo tiny ..... it's hard to really tell.

I would say that it looks like stipules from here, possibly the pictures does not do it justice.

btw the plant had not sexed when the clones were taken.

looks like new groth to me. but with the yellow from your light makes it hard to tell

My plants usually show pistils 5-7 days after i change to 12/12. Yours look like they are just starting to react to the light change, and will probably show pistils within the next few days.

It's really hard to see (in the pics) what I see when I check on them. The lights wash out the pics ..... and my camera sucks when taking close ups. I need a better camera.

Just got back from checking on the ladies. They are most deffinitely pistils. They have grown a 1/4 inch overnight (the hairs that is). So, looks like i'm on my way (or my ladies are anyway). I'm suprised they were noticable on the 3rd day of flowering.
