Xlr8's "Flo N Gro" Hydro Multiple Strains 2011

Hey looked back afew pages and see some pretty little girls. I also see you ain't feeling up to snuff. Playing in your garden is the best med's I think we all have. Ofcourse the by-product's are screaming. Take care of them girls and I'll bb looking for some startsing pic's of the flowering. Keepem Green

Boy, did you hit the nail on the head, Wood. Fiddling around with the plants is one of the few bright spots in my day lately, but it often takes a lot out of me, too.

I hate this stupid continual pain stuff; it's been going on a ridiculously long time. I honestly had no comprehension of how bad chronic pain could be until I was knee-deep in it. It's been a humbling lesson in humility, and I have so much more empathy for others who have health issues now. Like many people, I took my good health for granted when I had it. :smokin:

Appreciate you dropping by my friend ~

Xlr8, lookin' great! You take care of your garden and it shows. I hope you feel better :)

Thanks 4twenty4all, I'm trying - but it's been difficult to do lately as I'm really having a difficult time doing things on my own. I was just catching up on your journal, and you're really going to have a nice outdoor harvest.

Thanks for the well wishes - I'm sure I'll feel better sooner or later. Pretty sure, anyway... Ha! Perhaps one of these will help...

:bong: :)

Hey There Xlr8!! I have tunnel vision on this site sometimes. I have missed a lot of great grows with great ideas and this journal is one of them. My loss. I want to be sure to keep your journal posted. :adore:

That tent is going to be packed with buds! I am looking forward to see you room explode!! :tommy:

I agree what you say about the dp blueberry. I have over 3 ounces of the dp blueberry from my last grow. It has just a few seeds. Never had this happen to a plant before. Very week smoke. It is about as stong as the $15.00 an oz weed I used to get in the 70's. Asprin would be as strong as this weed. I am not sure what I will do with it. :peace:

I sure hope you feel less pain soon... It sucks getting old!

:passitleft: If you don't mind I'll join you. :high-five: It does help!

That Auto Syrup that I grew and got only 8 grams off of is one best med strains I've smoked. My always there pain in my butt....was gone. :Namaste:

Bummer that you didn't get more from that plant. Sounds like a really good one. It's tough to find a good strain like that.

I tried to see if there was any 'non auto' versions of syrup, (for your benefit and mine too!) but it looks like it's only available as an autoflower. As far as I can tell, there isn't any published info on the genetics, but I think I can take a guess at the primary non-auto strain involved - Maple Leaf Indica.

Maple Leaf Indica - Sensi Seeds - Worldwide Marijuana Seeds

It's just a guess, but a pretty logical one I think - maybe worth taking a shot on ordering a couple of seeds? Though, I know you are "not buying" any seeds right now.

P.S. I divorced my always there pain in the butt years ago. :smokin:

I think your right xlr8

Sensi Seeds - Maple Leaf Indica

Maple Leaf Indica has been used as an important building block for many other famous cannabis varieties over the years and is now available to everyone. This plant was brought out of Afghanistan just before the Russian invasion and was preserved here in the Netherlands at the Cannabis Castle where years of genetic work and selective breeding give way to this fast flowering, pure Indica with close internodes and wide Canadian-maple-style leaves that have a rich deep green color. Maple Leaf Indica is a heavy yielder of large clustered, resin coated buds with dense rounded tops that have a sweet syrup like flavor. It delivers a powerful warm and relaxing body centered sedative effect.

Flowering: 45-50 days
Height: 110-135 cm
Yield: up to 110 gr

Sounds just like her buddy. I might have to try her out.........Oh! Yeah...I'm not buying seeds right now...bummer!:high-five:

I've done that 3 times...last one didn't take...still here!

Hi OMM - If it helps make your backside pain better, buy your bad self some of them seeds. :) I just noticed the flowering time - Holy cow she's a fast finisher by the looks of it. 6-7 weeks!

Funny that you posted part of the description - I almost did, just because the whole thing read like an OMM story. I might order some of these next time I order - sounds like it might be a good one for me, too.

Disaster...checked two seed banks...regular seeds only! Maybe time to breed a few. Gulp! :smokin::smokin:

Oh goodie goodie!! (hands flailing all feminine like)
If you guys dont mind, I'd like to add my 2 cents on the Maple leaf Indica.

MLI was a house strain at my old dispensary. My "guy" there had been growing it for roughly 8 years if I remember correctly. The inhouse description above fits it right on. It was one of my favorite strains for a long time; Usually pretty smoothe, and quite relaxing. It makes sense that it would be a precurser for syrup. You guys should definitely both give it a try, although I know X is on a sativa kick.....Ok I'm done:Namaste:

Hi Closet Farmer -

First and foremost, :welcome: , and thanks!

That happens to me, too. I am subbed to literally dozens of journals, and often have a hard time getting out and about more.

Yeah, I had such higher hopes for the Blueberry, but it was a problem plant from the start and a pain to deal with. The smoke had great flavor, but not real potent. Unless this remaining Skywalker is a real super-star, I'm probably going to not do DP genetics anymore.

I just subbed to your new journal, and am hoping you see great results from soil and those organic Blue Planet nutes.

Thanks for the well wishes - it does suck getting old!

Awesome Quix - thanks for sharing that! Sounds like a good one for pain - I'm definitely making note. I think OMM should break his self imposed shopping ban and get a few of them. I'm so broke right now, it'll have to wait a bit for me, but it sure sounds good! :high-five:

Bummer - but maybe it's a blessing? Order some, isolate any males, and save some pollen to make more and/or cross it with your Lucy? Maple Lucy!

Hey Buddy. I believe I'll shop around for the lowest price and buy a few. Always wanted to try mixing a few. Maple Lucy does have an appeal :thumb:

Hey XL, I sure hope your pain gets better, chronc pain sucks big time, not sure if you have researched a strain that is best for pain, but the kush's seem to be great as well as any good true indica, i struggle with the pain every day now since 95 or so, just keep your head up and keep on growing your garden for stress relief :)

breathingkush, PTSD is a tough one, glad to see you are maintaining :)

positive thoughts to both of you!

Kind regards,

You are a very helpful person X. I wish your health, plants and anything else going on the best:circle-of-love:

:thanks: Missbud!

That's very nice and I am grateful for those well wishes. :)

So far you don't seem to need much help from anyone - you're making it look really really easy for just starting out. I can tell you've studied up a bunch, and you're wise to start within your comfort zone using soil.

For those who haven't seen Missbud's first grow yet, her plants are still in early veg, but they look almost literally perfect so far. :yummy:

Funny you guys are talking about maple leaf indica from sensi seeds. I just sexed them out and have a girl. She is nice and stout and symmetrical and bushy. I hope she is good. I took clones before sexing out so they are rooted and transplanted now :high-five: You guys got me really excited for it now.

Cool! That'll be a fun one. If you end up making some Maple Lucy seeds, I'd be proud to be your first independent testing facility. ;)

(Post # 50) Can't wait for the update! :cheer: lol,...

Your wish is my command - coming up! ;)
