Xlr8's "Flo N Gro" Hydro Multiple Strains 2011

Hey X, that closet just looks healthy and full :goodjob: I read about the 1 hermie Skywalker and the runt taking a bow...was that all of the ones that got nixed?

Hang in there buddy, I know you're one tuff cookie!
:peace:

Hey there Sisco -

Thanks bud! Yes, that's all that got nixed. Now I have potpourri in there: (1) each of Lavender, Magic Bud, Lucy, and Skywalker. (4) Indicas left.

Plus, the Chocolope is making a comeback all of the sudden in her little corner. Her new growth looks good, though she's still only 12" tall. She's got a new vigor and is also throwing out some new healthy roots. She is Sativa and was too small and wasn't ready to flower, so she's still vegging (albeit under 12/12).

Good to see you around my friend! :high-five:

Hey XL, I sure hope your pain gets better, chronc pain sucks big time, not sure if you have researched a strain that is best for pain, but the kush's seem to be great as well as any good true indica, i struggle with the pain every day now since 95 or so, just keep your head up and keep on growing your garden for stress relief :)

breathingkush, PTSD is a tough one, glad to see you are maintaining :)

positive thoughts to both of you!

Kind regards,

Hey Naph - thanks brother!

I've found a couple of good ones. Snow White was a good one for pain, and this Big Bang auto is amongst the best I've had. The Magic Bud in this grow is one that has worked nicely for me before. I haven't tried a kush yet, but I want to do that soon. Eventually, I will try one of the new strains that are really heavily catered to pain relief.

I have almost exclusively purchased and grown strains that I think would help, but I don't like to be overly couch-locked either so there's some compromise involved. Right now I'm venturing out and trying to find something new/better. The Magic Bud is one I have in case the others didn't work out - I know I'll have something that works well on hand with that in the mix.

So sorry you've been dealing with that pain for that long. I'm keenly aware it could be worse, and optimistic I'll get past it eventually. Hope you're well - good to see you here. :high-five:

Funny you guys are talking about maple leaf indica from sensi seeds. I just sexed them out and have a girl. She is nice and stout and symmetrical and bushy. I hope she is good. I took clones before sexing out so they are rooted and transplanted now :high-five: You guys got me really excited for it now.

Nice! Sending you positive vibes that your MLI is a winner -- can't wait to see your new room really produce for you. :Namaste:

Grow Update October 9th - Day 17 Bloom:

Not much new to report - they didn't stretch as much this past day, but still up to an inch on a couple of tops. In order to keep her height down, the Lucy is really spread out along the back of the tent, and it's opened up a bunch of space in the middle for new bud shoots to develop - it's fun watching the new budsites pop up like crazy with a window of opportunity created for them.

I mentioned it in another post, too, but the Chocolope has good looking new growth and is exploding with new healthy root growth. It's worth noting that she has been on the new Blue Planet root zone product I'm testing out - and she seems really happy about that. Blue Planet if you read this, I gave her about double your recommended starting dose. Sorry brother, I just went for it! ;)

But -- seems to have been just the ticket! (Full disclosure, I had flushed her good and dosed her with H2O2 prior to receiving the root zone product, but she's happy on just the root zone that she has right now). I'm very happy with the way the Blue Planet nutes are working so far.

Okay - a few pics. I need to find an owners manual for my camera and see if I can do better with the reds. I've tried to adjust them on most of the photos, but it's a bitch!

Walking into the room...

Had to stand on a little stool for this one (scarier for me than it sounds!) Top row: Magic Bud, Lucy -- Bottom row: Chocolope (in bucket), Lavender, Skywalker

That tent is stuffed!! I am rooting for that poor little lonely Chocolope!! :thumb:

Looking great, Brother! :bravo:

They all look very happy & healthy!

Looks like you have plenty of vertical room if you can keep the girls from busting out of the walls of the tent! :)

Holy stretcharoo Batman!

Just read from page 1 Xlr8. Plants look great. stetchin like all get out. Your tent is going to be stuffed!

Best wishes to you and yours, hoping you feel great and get back to taking names soon.

Looking Good xlr8! :high-five:

Nice pictures by the way.....careful.......on the step ladder!

Chocolope looks a bit lonely........but healthy! :thumb:

:thanks: OMM! Yes, she's both I think -- it's nice to see her on the right track.

Me too Closet Farmer! Even if it's a small yield, it would be nice to at least get a taste from her. She's a bit problematic right now though as even after removing a couple of plants, it's pretty crowded. This is my first multi-plant grow with this tent, and the first with the Flo N Gro. I'm learning a lot about using the space better next time.

Looking great X!

Thanks buddy! :high-five:

Fresh! Looking well nice Xlr8 here come the flowers :cheer:

Woo hoo! Flowers are really starting to build now, too. Now it gets fun. Thanks GodSpeed! :)

Thanks Mr. Krip - they really are healthy and happy, so I'm pleased as punch about that. Not really plenty of vertical room, though, and they're still stretching. They aren't complaining yet, but much of the canopy is now 14-16" from the lights. I was hoping to keep it more like 18". I'm really struggling with pain/health still, so it's been really tough to spend time manipulating and adjusting. Hopefully tonight I'll feel up to it...

Absolute beauty! You have it down to a science bro! Kudos to you.

:thanks: 4twenty4all! I don't really have it down to a science yet, however. I feel like I'm starting from scratch all over, as the tent, the system, the nutrients and the strains (most) are all new to me.

In retrospect I would have been smarter to either flower earlier or do more LST early on, or work with fewer variables (perhaps fewer strains who's behavior I am more familiar with, for example). I should have not thrown the Chocolope into the mix... (I could go on). Having said all that, it's going pretty well overall and I feel fortunate for that. I just bit off a lot considering my poor health and limitations right now. Thanks again for the kudos!

Thanx Quix!

First off --- :welcome:

Wow! That's a lot of reading - I appreciate you taking the time to do that. :) Yeah, they just keep on going, but hopefully we're near the end... (crossing my fingers). I also appreciate the well wishes. I hope to get back into game shape soon. ;)

Looks like you have a journal going -- I'll have to check it out. Take care!

I'm going to have to put an order in for BP when I get done with this batch of FF.. Can't wait to see the flowers!

GT - first, don't worry about not being around more, you have so many other pressing things in your life right now. Aww damn, I'm really sorry to hear about your job situation, and I've been there myself. This economy continues to take its toll (on those of us who aren't CEO's of fortune 500 companies). I'm glad you have such strong faith, and I hope things fall in place soon. Peace and love to you and your ever growing family my friend. :peace: :circle-of-love:
