Having found yourself with too many plants.......you will do it one way or another. Your tent will be bulging out a bit on the sides, but you can do it!
If you haven't yet.....put those puppies in flower Mate.

You remind me of Norcaliwood....if he has a seed he plants it! Then thinks about where to put them......I better stop...it sounds like me too!

I hear you about doing things for your self. Your so lucky Mrs xlr8 is there to help.

Took me a while to admit I needed help......just doesn't feel right.

Tent will be bulging, no doubt. This will help me understand my space limitations and it's a step toward learning how to best use the tent. Plus, with a little luck, some variety for my vaporizer, right?

I kinda hope the Magic Bud is a male, if so - I might try to save some pollen and/or selectively pollinate a few branches for future seeds. I have a separate room in the house I should be able to keep it at least long enough to collect a little pollen. And I can completely isolate it there so I'm not getting pollen traveling through ventilation ducts, etc.

Mrs. Xlr8 is really great. Even so, for X-ample, I really wanted to move some plants around last night, but she asked if we could do it tonight instead. I'm too impatient - I want it done now, but that's the challenge with needing help -- you're on other peoples schedule a lot and I really hate being on other peoples schedule for what I want to do, if that makes sense.

Thanks Mr. Krip! - Yeah, I was pretty nervous about trying something different and a bit foreign to me, but it works great for reasons I hadn't anticipated. Not having to worry so much about nutrient temps is huge, for example. Hope you're having a great weekend buddy!

Almost forgot to mention: I saw female pre-flowers on both Skywalkers (noticed them a couple of days ago when I switched to 12/12. They were ready!)

I believe I'm seeing the beginnings of pre-flowers on both Lucy's as well, but I'll know for sure in a few days or so...

They've only been in 12/12 for a few days, but they are already really taking off.

Lastly, I really wish I could share my cannabis infused Snicker-Doodle cookie's. These things rock! I'm stuck in perma-grin.

It's always nice when something like that happens so early into the process. Most of the time it is like watching the grass grow when you flip a new batch of plants!

That Snicker-Doodle sounds yummy! Unfortunately for me, I don't do well with edibles. I had a VERY bad trip from a pot brownie about 10 years ago. It was the most intense pot high I have ever had and it was the uncomfortable kind where you feel like you are going to die! Very scary and put me off eating THC for the rest of my life! I was literally stoned for three days from that one brownie! Not as high as a kite that whole time, but I was still feeling the effects all those days later!

Hey X!! Glad to hear you're enjoying the greatness of your edibles! I made a crap ton of snickerdoodles last grow/harvest! I'm going to have to try making oil, its a bit daunting, though, as I've never done it....Been enjoying ricecrispy treats all week myself, made from fuity pebbles and strawberry marshmallows!! I have the butter down pat, now its time to learn the oil, as I would like to tame the taste a little....

Yeah, I love when I see pre-flowers prior to flip - literally nature telling us they are ready to bloom.

With the brownies - I've had that happen and it's no fun to say the least! In fact, I took a break from edibles for a while but decided to use this leftover oil, and I'm really glad I did because I'm enjoying edibles again - I had a bummer experience a few months back but doesn't sound as bad as yours. This leftover oil was so strong that I only mixed about 1/8 cup of it into the recipe and it was about perfect - 2 cookies and all day happy high. Your brownie must have been way over-strong, or you hadn't built up a tolerance yet - or both!

Thanks for dropping by - love your outdoor garden right now, it's absolutely gorgeous and those look like great strains - Purple Urkle might be the best tasting weed I've ever smoked.

Your right, this will be a good test for the tent and what you can do it in. Just a bit of sorting it all out. Glad you have both lights in there. There's nothing like having a few jars of different strains around. Right now I'm smoking Wild Thai and Frisian Dew mixed together. A really good stone.

I hope you get a male too. Sure sounds like you have thought it out and have all the precautions in place.

Sure is hard to ask others for help after years of doing things yourself.
I know about scheduling too.....coordinating with two helpers, who have their own lives.

Jo talks to her all her old friends on the mainland and it turns out most of them have the same problems she has.

Jo grabbed me last nigh and gave me a big old tight hug for 5 minutes, which I gladly returned. When we finally let go, we had big smiles on our faces. Just too cool!.

Oil is almost easier than butter, just use a slow cooker and strain w/ cheese cloth.

Agreed - if you get time, check out the link I posted on previous page. I have some great tips that aren't too complicated that can really make the oil more potent and effective. Soy Lecithin helps a lot, for example. I borrowed information from a number of experienced sources and continue to tweak it each time. I think I have it really optimized now. Last batch, one 2x2 brownie was enough to make you high all day. Also, combining multiple strains makes your whole body buzz if you do it right.

Grow Update Sept 26 - Day 3 Bloom:

I moved a couple of plants last night, and the roots in the Flo N Gro are really gleaming white and healthy. There is a small amount of nutrient solution that stays in bottom of each bucket, but it doesn't seem to have a negative effect on the plant health at all. Also, the canopy is fairly even now with the exception of the Sativa, which will catch up I'm sure. The Chocolope wasn't looking as perky as I'd like, and I'm going to have to really keep an eye on her. I would have liked to have given her more time after topping, but the rest of the bunch would have gotten too big had I waited longer.

Blue Planet Nutrients is sending me a Root Zone optimizer formulation to test - maybe that will help the Chocolope perk up some.

Also, and I can't stress this enough, please support Blue Planet nutrients - look how hard he is working to support our community. To that end, I purchased some of his Liquid Blue Bloom booster, and I'll be purchasing all of my nutrients there if they continue to perform this well. Nice tight node spacing.. I love it! They look great bro! After finishing up my nutrient mix, 'Cutting Edge Nutrients', I may switch. I do prefer organic but it's tough to complain about the size the chemicals add. I do a combo now. Can't wait to see them in full bloom.

I am using the BPN in my hempy grow with their Bloom Booster. The girls seem to be liking the new treats. Can't argue with the value and the support. I'll be testing some of that root zone in my NFT grow as well.
