Thanks X for the detail thoughts on the system. Taking preventative measure will put you on the safe side. I've been over to MB journal and noticed the flood too. Doh! So you're not the only one with this system, glad to know there are more growers with it so we can see how each use the system and the nutes.

I guess to really have a peace of mind would need to put each of those bucket under a large tray and the rez inside a bigger rez, lol. Or put tiles in the grow room on the floor and couple feet up on the wall, like a public restrooms and have water seal so if there is a leak it would just stay in there or have a drainage area for easy clean up when hose down the place after each grow. I think that's my future grow, tile up the room with white tiles.

That would be pretty sweet!

Couple of notes:

All new vegetative growth looks great on all of the Flo N Gro plant sites. The Magic Bud is still thriving in the small DWC tub, and it's roots are into the reservoir now. I took the Chocolope out of the tent, put it into the DIY Waterfarm/DWC bucket I used for my last grow, and under my T5 floro lights to see if that helps - it looked a little overwhelmed by the heavy lighting in the tent. It already looks better to me since being put under the T5's and into my hydro bucket (crosses fingers).

I also added a small humidifier to the tent to bump the RH to 60%, it had fallen to 45% today - pretty cool that I've been able to dial it in there and pin it. Love the environment and control that the new small ultrasonic humidifier is giving me for vegging in the tent.

PPM notes -- I feel like I'm noticing a change in nutrient uptake compared to water uptake. 2 nights ago, PPM's were at 460 during res change. Next day, water level decreased, PPM's were about 520. I topped off the res with a little more straight RO water, and brought it back to about 470. Even more noticeable decrease in water consumption/evaporation again tonight, and PPM's were at about 480. This tells me 2 things - They're thirsty, and big enough to utilize the nutes a bit more too, instead of cherry-picking out the water and making my PPMs soar. At the beginning of the week I had some tip burns due to water being pulled out of nutrient solution and the solution being too nutrient heavy as a result. I think I'm finding a balance point finally...

Wow, talk about falling behind...your journal is zipping right along, and your plants...they look really good. I hope mine are that nice in another week. I don't know if my hempy grow will keep up with the flo n gro like yours. We will see.

The flooding issue is why I don't want to do anything with a reservior to it. The alarm thing sounds like it could be a good investment...but the wire ties are cheap, I'd put some of those on all the connections just to help keep it tight. One of my husbands favorite sayings...

Tried a quick dry on the Blueberry......vaped it...tasted green but smooth......barely can feel a small buzz. Hope she cures well and gets stronger.
Fingers crossed. Well, she's kind of creeping now.
