Xlr8's "Flo N Gro" Hydro Multiple Strains 2011

I'm hoping to get some of the BPN nutes to do my next grow with. They look like they should deliver the goods, based on the information on the web site.

Steve Bpn is legit I'm using it on this current grow and I must say I'm actually impressed brother minus the fact it has the worse smell ever hahah but overall great product:high-five:

they work great!!! my grow are just taking off with BPN!!! and now I added them to my outdoor plants as well to see how well they can wrap them up within the next 2 weeks before I start the Final flushing!!!

I don't know how I missed this one (actually do, a 2nd grader running around on summer break). Looks like it will be a good one. The Flow and Gro's great limitation is nute variances in plants. Buddy's med gro is running 63 pots (3 systems). Have to group similar plants together for happy plants and best results, not too hard but takes time to figure out. The real oddballs get grown in soil.....

thanks Crower619 :adore:

I aim to please. Like I say on my website, I will give back any customer's money if they are unsatisfied with my nutrients. I know what I am doing so I don't expect any of that....a master's degree in plant science from Texas A&M does not come easy :)
Take care everyone, I love you all

So sorry haven't been around much last couple of days - still dealing with some health stuff and very tired out. Not keeping up with anything it seems! But, stay tuned for update tomorrow (Wednesday). Should have pictures!

Can't wait to get back to visiting journals again - I'm so far behind! ;)

Whats good X!!!
Man you too!!! I have so much going on as well!!! I feel like the emails from here just keep building up!!! and then I see that I have like 6 of the same thread coming in that I know that it just building up and by the time that I get to it, it has gotten up to be 2 pages behind already!!! Hang in there my friend!!! we will catch up!!!

Sorry to hear that you are still under the weather XL! I can totally relate! It has been hot as hell up here the last week and with all there is to do right now with harvests and such, I am dog tired by 4PM every day, but I keep pushing cause there is still so much to do.

Sometimes you gotta just put the brakes on and say ENOUGH! Sound like that is about where you are right now? I'm nearly there myself!

I just harvested my second Blueberry Kush clone and just hung the buds out a little while ago, THEN posted an update to my journal etc. etc. etc. I've got a movie on pause over on my Home Theater PC, but it is too late to finish watching it now! :icon_roll

I sure hope you feel better soon, and remember that most of this stuff can wait a couple of days until you are feeling more up to the task!

Take care and I look forward to your next update, but ONLY if you can post one without knocking yourself out in the process! ;)

Get some rest, my brother. I feel it on the health stuff, my shoulder is now been really bothering me with acute pain (wincing and crying out kind of acute), but I still owe the orthopedic cutter from the surgery and just can't afford to go again.

Take your time healing, friend. We're waiting for you :Namaste:

It's so hard to get caught up if I get a day or two behind. :) Sounds like it is for you too! Yes, we'll get caught up eventually! :high-five:

Wow, that's all really nice and really thoughtfully worded. :thanks: GG7!

Congrats on another harvest, but yes -- those are ALWAYS butt-kickers (harvesting). And I do so little compared to most people here!

Sounds like you could use a little rest, too. Take care, and thanks again. X

Hi Jozo -

This place is the land of the wounded, I swear! I sure hope your shoulder starts to feel better - shoulder stuff can get really painful. Hope you can get some relief somehow soon.

:thanks: for your concern and understanding my friend. :)

Even when your not doing the best, you still reach out to people...what a nice guy you are X, take all the time you need :roorrip:

Ahh, you guys are my friends here, and are so supportive. It just sucks when I fall behind on what everyone else is doing and have trouble keeping up with everything. Thanks for that, though, you made my day!

:)

Second journal BPN is in...Hmmm figures.. I just purchased FF nutes, next time BPN.

BPN has been very responsive and supportive so far in my dealings with them, and I sure appreciate it -- :thanks: BPN

So far, so good - just a little learning curve on my part, but I'm happy so far!

I know the organic is going to be stinky (organic always is I'm sure). I do have to say, the 3 part doesn't have an entirely pleasing smell so far, either. Not really noticeable though in the 3 part unless you stick your nose right up to the reservoir. It's not noticeable at all otherwise, and it doesn't bother me.

:hmmmm:Stinky nutes= Stinky flowers? hee---hee---hee---hee---heeeeeee:smokin:

:yummy: mmmmmmmmm.......... stinkyyyyyy flowerrrrrrssss.

Should be fun seeing how the Blue Planet nutrients work out for everyone. Cool that you are having good success so far. :)

thanks Crower619 :adore:

I appreciate you being here a ton BPN -- you are a first class sponsor and it's my hope that these nutrients work well for us and help you become extraordinarily successful as a result of your support here. I think you have a great strategy and I hope it pays off for you. Thanks for supporting our site and my current grow as a prize recipient. :bravo:

Heya OG13 -- Good to have you here! Yes, that's definitely a limitation of this sort of system, but I'm really happy with it so far. I'm used to multiple strains in a shared system with DWC tubs, and it seems to be less of an issue once the plants get more mature, so this stage always seems the trickiest (to me).

I almost caused a problem last night, but figured it out. I unplugged an individual pump to do a reservoir change, and it essentially shut the system down, even when plugged back in. I had to unplug the main plug and it all started working again. I think there is some sort of protection built in to the brain that shuts everything down if a pump gets unplugged. I was really lucky to catch it!

:thanks: for subbing to my grow, OG! :high-five:

Thank you Xlr8. I feel blessed to be here.

Grow Update - 15 days from germination (Aug 31):

Flo N Gro is working well - see 2 or so posts back in reply to OG13 about a narrowly averted problem, but so far so good. It's working great and the plants seem so much happier now that they are in it.

Skywalkers are looking very healthy, as is one of the Lucys. The other Lucy is looking better, but a bit funky still. The lavender has healthy new growth, but is a bit stunted. I was only running one of the 400's as I didn't want to overwhelm the seedlings too badly with light, but in noticing how much healthier the ones looked closer to the light, I'm now running both 400's.

Chocolope is still looking good, but a week behind and just starting out. I really should take it out of the tent and put it under a flouro - the light in there is probably too much right now. We'll see how it looks tomorrow.

Yesterday I changed the reservoir, worked really slick with the second reservoir and the lid change. I mixed up 20 gallons with about 60ml of Grow, Micro, and Bloom each. My PPM's were about 460 (.7 conversion). I PH'd the mix to 5.8.

One thing I noticed that is a difference in PH after mixing the Blue Planet nutrients vs. the Dutch Master Gold program I used to do: I have to bump up the PH (PH up) after mixing up the BPN 3 part, and I would have had to PH down after mixing up the Dutch Master Gold 2 part. No biggy, but it's different.

Finally some pictures - all of the newer growth looks great, and they're really perky right now. I still have the Magic Bud alive, but not pictured. I also forgot to take a pic of the Chocolope seedling again - but it looks great so far....

Looking into the tent (you can see rubbermaid garbage bin reservoirs outside of the tent):

That's it for now - hoping to start getting caught up on everyone's journals soon! If anyone has any questions, let me know! X

Blue Planet -

I am used to adding Silica to my reservoir -- is there any reason NOT to do that with your 3 part nutrients, or is there some reason I shouldn't? I already own a decent Silica product. Also - I use RO water. Do you think I'll need to consider a Cal/Mag supplement with your nutrients, or should I be okay as is? :thanks: :high-five:
