Woodsman's Northern Light #5 Grow

I think we're normal haha you're funny woods i think if every plant had their own light maybe you would get the same vertical growth but its hard to constantly rotate the plants to get even amounts of light all the time without a light mover:reading420magazine: also some studies show that plants talk to each other through chemical communication so maybe the biggest is just the bully and gives verbal abuse to the rest to stay down haha:peace:

thank You....I needed that. A bully plant. :yahoo:

Way to busy here dude. I looked back 4or5 pages and peeked at plants. That was 3 days ago. Look good dude. Hope to see a update soon. May all your gardens be green
Thank buddy, updated yesterday (I think) but all's well!
After 4 great pages, since my last visit, you need a rest old Boy :thumb:
No sh*t OMM, if I blink I'm behind a page or two! I love it here in 420 land. I don't know what has worn me out more, this post or the outside work I'm doing! Keep it coming folks!
lol, I know what you mean amigo, I have been moving home, just at iny bit at a time and my back is in bits. Need to get fit me thinks!

:thumb:

I got aches in places that don't even exist! LOL

the Big Girl is definitely taking over more than I wish she would! This morning everything was turned back up to the lights (yesterday supercropped the Big girl and #4 and they looked 'ragged' afterwards). She is not elevated lithe other two (bricks) so I can only bend and tie the heck out of her. I can raise the HPS only 6 more inches from were it is now. I think by the end, her buds will be mixed in the the other two's canopy!

'Bully', not a bad name for her!

In and out today again guys I'll be checking in every so often. I don't know how I will be able to visit everyone today! I've got a subscribed list a mile long and still growing that I haven't visited! If I get some time later, maybe a pic or two. :Rasta:

Update - Flower Day 25

My plants are doing quite well today despite some pretty high temps (low to mid 90's) . Right now I'm a few days, 'post feeding' and will be watering with molasses tomorrow most likely. I am flying 'blind' as far as pH goes, but as I said above, the plants seem to be doing just fine. Did some more 'remodeling' with Big Girl today, rearranging some more of it's tops. Also moved the fan all the way up to the top because it was obstructing the CFL's above #4 plant. As far as the temp situation goes, I wish I could reverse the times to run the lights at night, but that could disturb my wife's sleep (not in the best interest of peace and harmony). The lights would cast light on the wall and the ceiling in the back corner of the bedroom/loft area. I'll be watering or feeding them more often with the current heat situation. thinking of placing some ice cubes in there. Not a whole lot of room to work with though. It would be ideal to have the ice right under the fan almost like a miniature A/C unit. I'll see what I can do with that. If I were able, I would purchase a tiny fan and place it on the bottom with the ice. May not be possible at the moment.

Below some pics of the grow at day 25 of 12/12. Some of the pics are showing my effort to maintain a somewhat shallow and even canopy. Right side of the room is #4, center is Big Girl and to the far left is Fatleaf. As you can see in the group shots, it's almost impossible to tell were one plant ends and the other begins. Soon, I'll have tops from Big Girl interlaced with the tops of the other two plants!

Thanks for taking a look!

holy shit I haven't been on in a while and your plants look amazing woods. Completely different from last time I saw them. Great job.

I just stumbled in to say.....:goodjob:. They are looking good.

:passitleft: I wish I thought I had the energy (too sore) to harvest Abbie tonight. She needs it.

I see all the little budlets!!!! This is the fun time, getting to watch the buds grow and swell.

:cheer:

:peace: from the mountains.

You're showin some real talent there! Great job!
Thanks MC. It's going to be a constant job keeping the girls in a somewhat workable floor plan!

They did lost their original look. I removed the foliage from the lower portions of the plants and am attempting to keep them in a SOG
Plants look awesome woodsman! :goodjob:
Thanks Jungle!
Lovin the flat-top canopy. You could land a jet on that thing.
If I had more room to maneuver, the job of keeping them somewhat even or level would be easier. Because I am pressed for space both vertically and horizontally, it has become a daily job to keep them in line!

Well Abbie's not going anywhere tonight, especially with that pot wrapped around her feet! Ya this is when I get to see my creations grow up and become 'big budded' ladies! Only these ladies will need a lot of 'hands on' help!

Let's all have a hit or two, or three! Even if your not posting, have a turn!

Thank you OldMedMan!

Yup that is for ladies just like you. Sometimes 'us guys' can go a little overboard and forget that wonderful ladies like you may be present! OMM to his great credit, posted that on his journal and being that it was worded so nicely, I didn't want to change a thing.

Please ladies, don't ever feel intimidated or to shy to post here! You are all welcome to my home!

As you can see by looking at my self portrait, I am a nice, descent, handsome fellow, well bred in the finer pursuits of life. I've included an ID that you can show to your mothers so they will feel more secure knowing your in good hands while visiting.

They look beautiful and well trained to me. That's a good problem to have, trying to get them contained. I personally like ladies with big buds that need hands on help.:cheer:

Yeah she threw a bunch of new bud on her tops, fresh pistils...decided she wants to play some more, now that she has the lights herself.

And I would love to watch you take your third hit of Lilbit...:roorrip::yahoo::smokin::thedoubletake::drool::trance::cheesygrinsmiley:.
I have learned two is my limit. I am actually putting my pipe down with pot still in it. And I am only loading 1/2 bowl. This pot is gonna be nice for keeping my usage down...maybe (Or my completely loaded usage up).

Update - Flower Day 27

The three plant are doing quite well. Plant#4 is just starting to develop her tops a little, finally!

I just read Roseman's thread about CFLs and thought is was very good. Here is the link: CFL Light Tutorial

I was particularly interested in his #6 post on the thread concerning duel spectrum lighting for 'more potent' buds. Excellent if true! Quoting Roseman here "As many of you may have heard or read before, Cool lighting (6500k) introduces a UVB spectrum that benefits the potency of the buds our plants are producing." With 'potency' being the key here!

Last night I swapped out my four 26w soft white CFLs with 4 Daylight CFLs (blue spectrum) and will run them through till harvest. I still have the four 40w CFLs (soft white) in use along with the HPS. I may (as he suggests) switch out the HPS with my MH for the last couple weeks of the grow. He explains this also. Please let me know your opinion on this. It is not a common practice and may not be common knowledge either.

Thanks brother grower. This is definitely new info.

Anything that may help get me more 'potent' buds is definitely worth a try.

Funny thing is...I have a MH in my flower room right now. Just because that's what i have available. It could work out for me better than i thought.
