Woodsman Outdoors

he could be canning his harvest of tomatoes :)

No no no, this guy parted his hair down the middle. Any profiler will tell you that is a guy that tokes. Well, that and the goat tee and sunglasses... and the fact that he was wearing shorts and sandals. Sounds like probable cause for a warrant.:tokin:

If I were to part my hair down the middle, I'd look like Alfalfa from Spanky and Our Gang!LOL

Looks like you got yourself some nice looking meds. Enjoy those buds and more to come, you are not going to have any shortage of meds for a while. Great job..

Grow and Photo Update

The top leaves of Bagweed 2, 1B and the Mazar have turned purple now and I presume it is from the cooler temps at night (40's). They look very cool!

At this point I've harvested half of Bagweed 1B and Bagweed 2(pink) harvested at mostly cloudy and some clear trichomes, also a few buds off of Bagweed 1A at 50/50 clear/cloudy.

I've been finding a few seeds here and there on the three Bagweeds, mostly on 1B. Not sure if they were hermies or if they were bad girls and found the boys down below in the yard? Strange, it took forever for me to tell if they were male or not and they definately didn't have any open flowers. Only the faintest hint of 'maleness'. Again only a few seeds have been found.

I'll be taking the rest of Bagweeds 1B and 2 next (within a few days) when they are all cloudy with maybe an amber here or there. By that time Bagweed 1A should be at mostly cloudy and will get her second of her three harvests.

The NL#5 (from seed) is a little behind those three and is just starting to pick up in size. I'd say another three weeks and she's ready (if not a tad sooner). She's a very sweet smelling girl, very strong smell like the Pink and 1B.

After that I guess the Mazar and the Bubba Kush are next up, but are still a month off. If the weather holds up I will get these two done (outside). If not, the Bubba will come inside to finish, but the Mazar and the Runt, will have to either weather the cold or will be gone. They are just too large to keep inside, we just won't have the room (and I wish to stay married)

The Mazar is the largest of the plants and is a total 'hedge', as is the Runt.

Beautiful plants and very nice pictures...

Thank you buddy for the kind words! :)
Great Pictures Man, as always. You have a pretty good knack for it and a great set of subjects.

Thanks Dog! It's all in the composition and lighting and the right perspective.

wow wood that mazar an pink look outta this word

You are most gracious Holy. I really hope the Mazar makes it through till the end. Last attempt with the strain came up quite impotent. This is from the same group of 'free' seeds so I'm very curious to see the outcome.

Harvest Update

So I combined my two Bagweed #2 ( Pink and Purple Lady) harvests from last week and weighed them out. Wet they were a combined 230 grams, I got 70 grams dry weight just now. Like the earlier canned Bagweed 1B, this stuff will loose some more weight as the stems dry out completely. I'd say closer to 60 grams after I remove the extra stem. These will be burped every day till the stems snap.

Pink Lady (two on left) is a lighter green than the Bagweed #1B on the right. The once pink hairs have darkened, but are still lighter in color than #1B.

Great job. I don't even want to guess at harvest weight. I wish the nugs didn't lose so much weight. A branch broke and I pulled a 40 gram piece off. A week later and some trimming brought me down to 8. :(

Hey buddy, I've really no idea now since I don't know what will finish and what won't. I do know that I've lost quite a bit to the worms. When I'm trimming I occasionally find an 'active' attack site. They are not as devastating as the ones earlier in the plants life. At that time I would have to occasionally remove the whole bud. Of course they were mostly tiny at that time. Well now I'm seeing 'empty' spots where those buds should have been and they would have been some serious buds! I'd say I've lost almost a 1/4 of my weight to the bastards.

I've been really bad of late as far as visiting around Bud I've got a lot of catching up to do this time!

Very nice harvest Woodsman!!

I also would like to wish you the best in the POTM contest!

Thank you for the very kind words Odin and thank you for the well wishing about the contest. First time I've entered anything like this.

HEY HEY HEY that's what I like to see. Happy Smoking Dude

Ain't it great when it's all starting to come together? Wish I was at that point now! LOL No it's coming together bit by bit. I'm doing staged harvest at least for the first three bagweeds so the work will be stretched out over a couple of weeks on them. That should make me right on time to start the early stage harvest of the NL#5.

Heard about G-Dog and his bad fortune? Some an*s wipe (like the planet) wipe snatched his outdoor stealth grow and just before harvest wouldn't ya know!. Makes me just want to get these girls finished real quick! the kids around here seem like decent kids (13 - 16 yrs old), but I was a young teen once also and I know I was a 'good kid' so I worry!

I found this and thought it may be what my #2 may be (Pink Lady)

It had been suggested by one or more of you that it could be Sour Diesel and I myself had seen something along the lines that SD could get pink hairs.

Today I tasted #2 and form what little I may or may not remember about SD, this had that same distinct smell . Please read on an those of you familiar with the Sour Diesel if ya can try to see if there is a resemblance. I already found a match online (different site) looks just like my pink haired purple leafed top.

The only thing different is the article states that it is an early November finisher.

Sour Diesel

Sativa 90 / Indica 10
Origins - Mexican Sativa x Chemo
Flowering - 75-80 days
Harvest - Early November

Beyond the citrus end of the pot palate spectrum lies a sour lemon tang tending toward the heay pungency of an open drum of diesel. This odor is so strong is Reservoir's Sour Diesel strain that it may need to be masked during growing if stealth is a goal or necessity. Even when dried and carried in a pocket, these buds are smell yenough to raise suspicions. Reservoir drew on the Mexican sativa family and the sativa hybrid Chemo in an effort to produce the most psychedelic non-haze sativa possible.

Sour Diesel is a tall, thin plant suitable for sea or screen of green. She stretches in the first 3 weeks of flowering. By maturity she reaches a daunting 6 feet indoors in a slender version of the classic Christmas tree silhouette. Her foliage purples as it ages, and commonly displays pink-hued pistils. The buds are loose and spear-shaped.

Sour Diesel taste combined with its effects may be considered an "exptreme sport" version of cannabis. The stone pull smokers into the sky fast with a viscerlly uplifting pleasure and lots of consciousness expansion in the direction of spirituality. This good-vibe variety may help alleviate chronic depression, as well as the ordinary blahs by encouraging a change in perspective.

Dang... the Sour Diesel has a lot of sativa in her.

I was surfing the Attitude when i saw a description pic that showed pink hairs on a bud and I thought of you, made a mental note to share what I found, and wouldn't you know I have forgotten the strain I was lookin at.:tokin:

oh woodsman,
great pics...and they look so good...oh, by the by, until they finish getting most of the moisture out, i keep my jars about half to two thirds full, moving room...also air room....i take the lids off and either dump onto table or shake and roll the jar to mix with fresh air....other wise too ez to get mold...mho...L
