Woodsman Outdoors

It's looking good over there Woodsman. All that hard work and falling through the deck is paying off. It don't get much better than scissor hash either. I am a huge hash hound and I am out!!! I will have some pretty soon though. A bit hung over today... Had a few drinks with my son last night and slept on a futon with my girl, a pit bull and a cat. We went to this state fair in Washington (The Puyallup Fair). I do not know if you ever heard of it or not, but it is huge. We went on like the busiest day of the event (a local band called 'Heart' was playing). My girl talked me into going and then bitched like hell once we did. Had a good time, but I would have rather been home smoking my own scissor hash if you ask me.

I am glad you are reeling in this year's harvest successfully. I do not know what we will have to talk about when it is all over. You say you aren't gonna do this next year eh? I have never seen weed that is two years old so you may want to give that some thought lol.

Happy Harvest

Haha I am driving down the intestate using my laptop online.
Thank god I am not driving because I am the designated smoker.

We just passed the visitor center for Mount Staint Helens a few minutes ago. And almost went in. It is such a sunny day that I really wanted to go. Maybe tomorrow.

Woodsman must be busy trimming and smoking his proceeds. Or maybe he is making some hash (that is what I would be doing). I have a girl friend for all the trimming. They like having that job because they create their own stash of the nicest buds. And so this will be my plan very soon.

Hola Amigo, Como esta.

mota muy bueno para su cabeza.

yeah, will be good for his head....
you must be in my neighborhood...L

woodsman,
glad youre ok, was wondering, but figured you were busy....take care, and most happy harvest...say hello to the wife....L

Lavendar I am sort of bilingual. I have been thinking of retiring in a Latin American country for years.

Yeah it will be a busy time for all of our outdoor's men (and ladies) very soon. I look at my three girls outside every day and weigh maturity with precipitation. In my neck of the woods it get really wet this time of year and stays that way for quite some time.

Heart is an awesome band, sounds like a BIG day!

I've had smoke that lasted for years several times. As long as it was cured and kept cool it will last. Not sure about next year (outdoor) because we'd like to move out of here and if we put the house up for sale in the spring, then I can't grow outside. Inside is out of the question as I've promised the wife that it won't happen. I should have enough smoke to last for awhile though form what I'm growing now. Also unlike other times in the past, I have a variety to choose from this time around. I am so used to rationing, that I will have to learn how to smoke more and in larger amounts!LOL.

Your right L, I've been busy with the harvest and my wifes friend lately, tomorrow I'm at my brothers helping him out. I'll be chopping much of #2 (Pink) today and will leave the rest of her and whats left of #1B fro harvest when they are all cloudy and maybe an amber here or there.

I haven't fed either of those two (and #1A for that matter) for at least two weeks and they've had only spring or rain water since. Today I fed the Bubba, Mazar, NL#5 (so sweet smelling and getting fatter by the day) and also the Runt.

so one day these 3 bridge workers were on a bridge working when all of a sudden the rail gave and 2 of the men fell off the bridge the third guy hollered down "i'll be right back i'll get a rope and Puyallup"
i know its corny i used to work up there and i told the guys i know how they named this place.............insert corny line here
naw im not loaded at this time :tokin:
great looking haul brother mmmmmm scissor hash im a freak about it too !!!!
swing by say high, rains a coming gotta stay dry :tokin:

Very nice woodsman, Its nice when you see the light at the end of the tunnel and looks like you are going to have your hands full for the next few weeks. Enjoy your harvest you deserve a few bowls for the great grow. Very nice job...

Welcome to my thread fluroman and yes it's corny, but we'll take it! LOL

Been through that area many times going up and down 5, but never into the town (22 wheeler).

Just did a visit over at your grow thread and HOLY SH*T! 8 1000w lamps! Amazing buddy, I recommend reading your thread to anyone with a few minutes time. It's only on it's 2nd page so it won't take you long to read through it.

Thanks my friend, I've had a few as a matter of fact and the tunnel looks much better that way!

Harvest Update

Took down some more of Bagweed #2 this evening. I've got one main stem and cola (largest) remaining on the plant that I'll leave for a bit longer to mature. Today I got another 100 grams form her (200 grams so far). combination of clear/cloudy or mostly cloudy

Just keeps getting better and better, its amazing how these plants can bounce back after being cut into like that. But she look no worse for wear. Again great job, keep em coming...

Well brother, congratulations. I have never grown outside. I would imagine though that it has to be somewhat of a relief come harvest time. The stress would kill me! Peace brother!

Hasn't rained in several days L so your dance is working! Don't stop girl!

Howdy buddy, it's kind of like doing major suppercropping and not being gentle about it! LOL

Wow. The buds are looking great. I wish mine were done. I think this cold weather has been slowing them down. It got in the upper 30's last night. Can you believe it? I'm going to let mine go until the 15th hopefully. I gave them their last meal today. I'm seeing about 1-5% amber.

I'm jealous, Woods. Again, great job.

Won't be long for you know my friend, are you looking for 50/50?

It's been cool at night (40's) for the last week or two and this weekend it will go down to the mid thirties! A frosty week end for sure. Highs will be in the fifties, but will go back up to the mid sixties next week. I need a good month to finish the NL#5

Hello my friend
I think about this all the time now and bite my nails over it sometimes. I never felt this way in years past because I would only have one or two plants. Having 7 Christmas trees on your back deck is not very inconspicuous. Thank goodness for our woods and my wifes vegetables and flowers!

Enjoy those fruits brother, you've worked hard and vigilant.

Thanks Toes! It has definitely not been an easy grow for sure! Glad when this ones done and I can just enjoy it's fruits!

just cking in....go woodsman go....L:cheertwo::cheertwo::cheertwo:

I'm huffing and puffing and I've been a bad boy again L, haven't been around the site for a few days. but I am surely enjoying my early harvest fruits! Amazing tastes, smells and highs!

I've got pics up the cazoo that I've not even attempted to upload.

Yesterday I harvested from my Bagweed #1A for the first time. Just a bit, 80 grams of med size popcorn buds mostly. She still had too many clear trichs, but like the other two Bagweeds, she's a winner! Different taste also. I think all the tastes and smells will change once they go through a cure. Also last night I 'canned' my first batch. This was from the 175 wet grams of Bagweed #1B that I chopped on the 23rd. I have 55 grams now and will likely loose another 5 - 10 grams of water weight in the next week or so of burping. Filled the Quart jar right to the top. Oh ya I got a case of Kerr Jars (quarts) at Wally's Medical Marijuana Supply Store the other day for 10 bucks on sale.

Great harvest Woodsman! Is the Bubba Kush still going? I'm expecting a seed, please give me the scoop. Peace out!

Hey Blue! The Bubba is about a month out and I'll be finishing her up inside if I have to. The Mazar is also a month out, but the Runt, well she may not live long enough to fulfill her destiny! She's about a month and a half out and that would put me into November!. So the Mazar and the Runt may not happen if the weather gets bad. Too bad since the Mazar would by far be the largest producer of them all. The NL#5 will finish in a month max so should be OK if I cover her up when I know colder mornings are coming. She is soooo sweet smelling, amazing, can't wait to try her out..
I'll try to post some pics tomorrow,

Oh ya! I now have PURPLE TOPS! #2 (pink) Mazar, #1B are so cool looking, I got pics and will show them tomorrow. Too bad I didn't notice this before I posted my contest pics. I've got a real doosy in the Pink ladies cola.

I was at Wally World yesterday and seen a guy with a case a canning jars. Now if it had been a granny buying I would not have noticed. This was a fellow in his 30s with sunglasses and a goat tee.

he could be canning his harvest of tomatoes :)

Hello Dog and welcome basementdwell.

Judging by the amount of canning jars on display at Wally's (big sale) I would say that we have a healthy population of (pot) growers around here! Thank goodness for Wally's, Lowes and Home Depot MJ supply stores! They should have one of each in every neighborhood!

$10 for a case of 12 Kerr 1 quart jars. They've got other sizes also for similar prices.

Harvest Pic Update

These are Pics from late in the day of 9-28 actually, just been too lazy to post them!

Did my first harvest from Bagweed 1A (just 80 grams wet worth). She is a different pheno from the other two bagweeds and even different from her sister (same bag) 1B. Like the other two, she is a winner.

Also canned my first batch of 1B on the 29th and earlier today I started another jar also with some of 1B

Small 80 gram harvest from Bagweed 1A. She is the least mature of the three and has a 50/50 mix of clear/cloudy trichomes.

Small secondary top from 1A dripping in stickiness!

My first batch of 1B from 9/23 (175 grams wet) in this pic from yesterday I got a mostly dry weight of 55 grams (stems don't 'snap' yet). I will be 'burping' the jars once or twice a day till the stems snap and then they will be sealed for use down the road. Just weighed her again and now she's at 50 grams.
