I did a huge defoliation on pure gas and gasfruit yesterday. Now the light penetrates both plants really well.
I’m gonna go through today and snip all the tops of each top bud as I was talking about earlier with Beez and Emilya.

I had a really bad weekend, and spent the day at the hospital. I should be back up to snuff in a day or two. Healing isn't happening as fast as it once did.
I did it on my last crop and the nugs turned out so huge. The way I feel is that I’m removing such a tiny amount of material that even if it doesn’t do anything, it’s no big deal. The potential upside is worth what you’re losing (basically nothing)Thanks Chef - very curious to see it in action.

Check out this post for an excellent picture of a back built bud. The very next message down shows pictures of buds that were not backbuilt.
Look around on that thread and you will find other shots of that plant of buds that were not backbuilt. I did it only on a few just to show the result, purposely in that thread. Yes, the shots just below that are of a completely different variety, and I simply illustrated those as examples of a typical conical bud that we have all seen over and over again in our gardens.But completely different cultivars right? Not identical clones?
