Who Let The Dogs Out? Chem Comparison Grow!

dude! That’s freakin insane Beez!! And the roots look so healthy. How long has she been in veg at this point?
She is a clone who started in a solo cup (approximately 3 weeks after rooting) and was up-potted to a 3/4 gallon pot I found at Dollar Tree. She was in that pot for 3 weeks at which time she was moved into a 2 gallon pot for 20 days. And then into a 3.5 gallon pot for 3 weeks. I up-potted her today from the 3.5 gallon pot into the 5 gallon fabric pot which she will flower. So she has been vegging now for about 12 weeks.

@beez0404
is she in your organic mix? Or what kind of nutrient system is she on? She’s eating it up

also, Beez what’s your opinion of the bud back building technique by Light Addict ? Have you tried it?

As of now the plants I have are in the organic soil I make. I've not heard of the bud back building technique so pretty sure I'm not doing it. :cool:

Darlin I have no clue what it is so couldn't try it even if I had a desire to do so.

all you do is around week 5 just take a scissors and nip the top of a bud off... not very much of it at all, just barely get into the green and take 3 or 4 white pistils off of the top. Imagine a deer has just nibbled the very tip of a bud to get a taste. That little cut will totally change the dynamic of that bud and it will immediately begin to chunk out (dont know how better to describe it) and instead of developing naturally in a cone shape, it will fatten out and go off in several directions. It should remind you of a FIM, but now on a developing bud.

So it will sort of resemble foxtailing? And you're saying this is done around flip + 5 weeks?

Not foxtailing exactly. It makes every bud on that branch grow thicker and rounder. Personally I agree with Emilya in that I think it makes your yield actually larger.
Emilya said week 5, but I think it’s more dependent upon how long the strain flowers for. I think you’re shooting for about 2/3 of the way done. So a 12 week flower I would do it around week 8.

Some Dinachem photos from the tent. Sparkling trichomes are cool. Haha.
