Who Let The Dogs Out? Chem Comparison Grow!

OMG, not you too! :)

Tall tales, cards, and cerebral contortionism were what we used to while away the hours when at sea. 'We' being four of the lowest non-commissioned ranks (Ordinary Seamen) that few of the highly educated officers understood once we engaged. Three of us had grade 13 (Ontario) education, the last didn't make it through grade eight but was an avid reader.

Check out those alabaster white pistils and verdant green leaves!
Cerebral contortionism? I perceived that we would preserve our perspicacity in a lucid fashion.
Pardon my French.... but F-U guys.

I finally looked up all dem fancy words in the fancy wordbooks.

What a waste of time, they all said "not Texan, not important"

well folks, I made a woopsie. I left the passive air vent open all night. Definite light pollution last night!

I've always left my intake vents at the bottom of my tents open. I've not had a problem. My plants haven't hermied on me. I think the requirement for absolute darkness is overstated. In the wild these plants are subjected to both starlight, and moonlight, so I haven't worried about it since day one. It's probably because the full spectrum is not there, and the intensity is low, at least compared with the grow light.

I agree with you about it being overstated. I have multiple light leaks in my old tent and the nighttime is not always perfect in there, especially if I have to do other work in the basement and have lights on.
I have seen people on here claim that they don't even use tents, and have a veg and a flower operation located in different ends of a large room. The inverse square law comes into play, and especially if you are using reflectors that direct the light downward, at best what hits the grow operation across the room is reflected light, and at quite the distance... and it works! Just like the moon, random car lights etc... dark doesn't have to be total darkness. Now, a persistent and close light leak, not being reflected, such as from a power light inside the tent... that deserves a lot more consideration when it comes to putting them down for bedtime.

You guys are confirming exactly what my hunch is was. The one night that they spent with the flap cover open seems to not have bothered them.
I think these horror stories you hear about plants hermying fast from things like that are really horror stories about unstable genetics...

I wanna share done close ups I took the other day.

that’s the same cola just one pic is a bit more zoomed out.

You can almost see the trichome heads just with a normal camera

Every tent from veg and flowering has all the vents opened all the time 24/7. It is my belief that if the plant is raised in this scenario it grow accustomed to the diffused light from the vents.

I think this is also a huge factor. Darkness is a relative term.

Those are some very frosty ladies Chef Green.

Why thank you Beez! I’m hoping everything continues exactly as it’s been going through late flower. I’m really looking forward to seeing the swell.

My first prize for the Nugget of the Month contest arrived in the mail today. Thank you @PerfectPipe for such a nice item. It's a travel kit with two glass pipes. These use micro filters to make the herb silky smooth on intake. The kit comes with a package of the filters, extra screens, a tool to remove and replace the filters and screens. And it also comes with a cleaning kit that includes a brush to clean the glass tube end to end. A very nice gift. Thank you again!

I will put it up and when I harvest this Canuk Quarter Pounder auto X Dark Devil auto I'll break it in on a bud or two off this plant which I'll harvest in 2 weeks.
