She's got those mahogany tones in the leaves. I'm going to figure out how to light it properly for a pic to enter her in this month's contest. One of those might be it as time keeps moving on. Thanks for the good vibes.

She showed some pistils yesterday so she's on her way to the dance. From the perspective of the clones, #3.1 is rocking in veg and I'm so hoping for a manly thing. Her parent went in the room of bloom here recently.

:high-five:

Your garden always makes me chuckle Jim. You always end up like me, with a gaggle waiting to get near bloom lights and me suddenly thinking "Wait!..... do I have enough soil to do this?" :thedoubletake:

The shot of the Blue Dream had me wondering when I can get another in. I was hoping to make CCO with an oz of my harvest, but I really love smoking it. CCO may have to wait. Lol! You know I have a Chemdawg near harvest. She's meant for sleep meds for the daughter but I believe I'll save some to try exclusively for a few morning wake 'n bakes, on your recommendation.

There really is never enough time, room, soil, or lights to grow what we'd really like to have going, is there? :battingeyelashes:

You were my first stop coming into the community today. Morning hugs! :cheesygrinsmiley:

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Sunday morning hugs are extra special. How sweet that I get to leave them for you.
:kisstwo:

So I'll have to offer afternoon hugs back.:hug::hug::hug::hug: My morning got lost to filling more pots with soil and transplanting the Fx seedlings that were in the 6 in pots and watering well. Then I had to sweep the kitchen floor because I'm so messy.

I think too many are conflicted when the choice becomes indica vs sativa. I've spent too many hours seeking truth here and I'm actually content to be conflicted.

HSO claims their Chemdawg to be an indica dominant hybrid. They are the breeder so I'll accept this. But constant bad information can cause one to think that indica is body high and sleepy time. But I can tell you that Jack Herer and Blue Dream are sativa dominant and I like all of them in the morning. Admittedly, I am a morning person. I like to get up early after a good sleep and start my day. I use 3 different stimulants in the morning....nicotine, caffeine and combustion THC. It might be difficult for others to experience the same feelings if 1 or 2 of these stimulants are eliminated. Also, dosing with oil or vaping have a different effect so you're on your own there. I realize that smoking herb doesn't provide much 11-OH-Δ9-THC.

I'll link a recent article of Indicas vs Sativas.

I don't have the answers. I'm not that smart. Really, the only thing I can do is to grow them as best that I can. I have one landrace indica curing and I can tell you it too is fine in the morning; except that it feels a little hot on my throat and either needs a longer cure or it wasn't grown very well. Maybe it needs some menthol crystals... I have more of the landrace (Pakistan Valley) growing so we might see if I grow it better.

There's one other thing about my Chemdawg. I found 2 quarts while digging in the vault yesterday. My life just got better because I now have twice as much as I thought.

It seems like the past couple of days blur as they've been centered on transplanting seed girls to their 2 gallon soft pot homes. Of course the water needs have increased here; not sharply but noticeably. I'm fairly certain everything in the bloom tent has had one drink of barley malt tea when they went in. It's all still organic and they amaze me that they look so well. Never have I had this many plants in the tents before. It's quite a treat.

Here soon I'll need to comb through my notes to get a grip on how long some of these girls have been on a flowering schedule. OK...so I looked it up. The Blue Dream and Pakistan Valley clones have been flowering 25 days.

The pollen chucker came out today as I painted a couple lower branches of Pakistan Valley with Blue Dream pollen which had previously been kept in the freezer. I'm interested to see if this works.

Weather outside warmed into the mid 70s F and the bloom tent got as high as 95 F. It was 91 F this morning early and I had the A/C on this morning. Dodgy ass weather. RH is the house moved near 80% (kitchen) and I ran the dehumidifier for a whlile to get that under control. Temps outside are now declining so I guess normal Winter is back.

Bloom Team

There are 3 more pots that will need to climb in here in the next few days. I wonder?

Have a great day folks.

:thanks: all for walking through these gardens with me.

Each morning I get such positive vibes from the plants. They're all well behaved today. The final two cuts that were in that plastic container had roots this morning so I now have a clone of all the seed plants. I had a 100% success rate although many of them took a few extra days. Patience pays those dividends again.

UD 2 is really taking off with the stretch and looks to be the absolute best chance of being a boy. I get all excited about that but would have no place to put him.

The Fast n Vast x Master Kush x Panama crosses are renamed Fx. Fx 1 and Fx 2 are in the bloom tent on day 3. Fx 1 looks promising for being a girl but both need a few more days to fully reveal themselves.

She has a little bit of variegation on both sides of the plant. Nothing of any concern here.

Somehow I managed to get Fx 3 and 5 to develop a similar top. It's nothing special. I just found it interesting enough to attempt to picture them together.

Have a great day folks.

Twin plants, and you weren't even trying. :high-five: Everytime I visit I end up reaching for the Blue Dream. :laughtwo:

Labyrinth is still looking like the potential prom queen. Can't wait to see what she does in bloom. You really think you can get more plants in there Jim? Lookin' mighty snug. It's looking like my veg shelf. :battingeyelashes:

I gave the daughter the last of the Chemdawg on hand and harvest is still days away. Good grief, that's a pretty plant when she gets going, isn't she? I sure was tickled to hear you found those two jars you'd forgotten. :yahoo: It's so nice to have choices. :hugs:

Looking great there Jim... that UD 1 that's going to be a big plant.. hard to tell boy or girl... looks like a girl to me. How does it smell?? If its a male they start to smell different than the girls at this stage. Hard to describe what that difference is.. its just different. I'm going with a she.. she's got a nice thick main stem.... She's gonna need a little extra room I'm thinking...

Looks like everything is going awesome... green green green, green all over!

I guess I'm just crazy for growing the Blue Dream one more time but I do love it. Yep I can get them all in there but they'd suffer. I'm surely not clairvoyant but UD 2 and 3 are growing in a manly fashion. A couple of more days maybe for the big reveal. I went a took some pictures as I really didn't look at them closely this morning.

Morning Jim, looking all happy and healthy today...

Flower tent girls are consuming lots of water. Keeps me busy.

My Blue Dream is starting to frost up nice. Now just hoping for bud swell and an end product like you guys are talking about.

Frost is good. Gets a little gooey when it comes to harvest but I like it.

UD 1 pre-flowered and we put the skirt on then. She's filling in very nice but could have used a few more days in veg.

2 and 3 has that sour skunky smell and I'm pretty sure they're both boys. It makes me real happy.

I went back there to smell them and took the camera. Here's close ups on what appear to be balls today. I don't see any pistils anywhere.

Bummer (i guess?) Will you use them to pollinate? Did you notice any phenotypic difference between the 2 males?

No, it's a good thing. I'd like to cross UD 1 with one of the males. I have f3 seeds but breeding is neat.

I'm looking closely at the males now for differences. What I'll likely do is choose UD 3 as he's exhibited some strong vigorous growth, especially during this early stretch. He cloned nicely and the clone really stood out. So the plan is to use UD 3 and UD 2 goes to the compost bin. Then I'll keep the clone of UD 2 in veg/mom status and cull the clone of UD 3. Here's what the three of them looked like this morning.

Crap...I had hoped those orange labels would have been easier to read.
