What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Definitely boys these two and you're doing the right thing keeping one for breeding as they have shitloads of desired traits in these genes. From potency through smell to sturdy and bushy structure. Let's hope UD1 is a gal though :thumb:

About UD1. She looks like an OG genotype. I could spot these lanky stems everywhere. Let me know if she'll lean more on pine or lemon side when she hits mid flowering. This is probably the best way to figure out what you got... but it's only one of many expressions :passitleft:

your working your magic jim they look good I'm going to enjoy watching yours flower out then we can compare them to the ones I'm doing mine are way behind yours good luck man!

Thanks Sticky. I harvested that little Devil's Carnival this morning. Interesting smell similar to the Dark Devil auto with a bit of pine. It's hard for me to wait to taste this one.

High Conradino. I took some pictures of the Ultra Dawgs for your viewing pleasure and thoughts if it triggers pheno identification.

UD 2 Nothing wrong with the leaves here. She's reflecting some LED light from the open tent on the left

UD 1 She's been showing pistils for a couple days now

She exhibits a slight wrinkled leaf surface. Leaves of the boys have flat surfaces.

Thanks for looking in. Have a great day.

Guess what the growing universe dropped into my hand... BLUE DREAM!!! hahahahaha woohoo, after reading your journal for so long and praying for them, POOF, they arrived. I am going to dedicate my first BD to you my friend. Now all I need is an OG Kush, and I have a breeding project waiting to happen.

I've been spying on your UltraDawg's, love the fat leaves on them.

Hope your shoulder is mending, because your plants are on top of the world.

:Namaste:

Blue Dream on top of the world with Lady G. So you love fat leaves huh. Ultra Dawg is getting her bloom on and soon we'll have a another breeding project.

NEWS FLASH: Today is the Chinese lunar New Year. 2018 is the Year of the Dog.

Always lovely in here Jim! I absolutely love your pictures.

Thanks GT. Always good to hear my pictures are doing their thing on your end.

Hi Jim
Looking good. I like the idea of in breeding for seed with the uD. Whooot!
I see the wrinkled leaf on UD 1. hmmm. Those pistils are a welcome site. Super happy for ya.

I'm not sure the wrinkled crinkled thing is indicative of anything. Conradino is quite familiar with the strain and the phenotypes. It might have some meaning.

They sure are pretty specimens Jim. I'm looking forward to Conradino's take on identifying traits. I'm learning lots about the chemovar from this grow.

I love the way these rooms generate a current of heightened excitement when pollen enters the picture. :laughtwo:

I dunno about boys, but this gal looks like an OG.

As always ... Once a bit of time passes much more will be revealed. Ultra Dawg is just a sweet baby forming flowers at every possible bud site. I like it when that happens and regret that she didn't spend a couple more weeks in veg. My timing was thrown off by two factors; 1) I really thought I was running out of my Chemdawg and 2) While I was showing some patience in other areas I wanted to see the two new strains go into flower.

Those two girls - Fx 1 and UD 1 sort of have my heart right now. They struck me with their beauty yesterday so I got some fairly good shots of them. Let's hope I uploaded the right ones. I was pretty stoned yesterday.

Fx 1 - A breeding collaboration. Cannafan bred the Fast n Vast x Master Kush and sent them to me a couple years ago. I grew only one out and it was male. I pollinated a Panama green pheno I was growing at the time providing Fast n Vast x Master Kush x Panama which I renamed Fx. Her structure reminds me of an engineered building all coming together with perfection. Now there are 4 other Fx plants to sex and see if she gets a proper dance partner. Now that Fast n Vast has auto genes which haven't expressed which please me. The Kush just adds more indica then it might blend well with the Panama. Who knows? Grow it and see.

Just look at the internals of this bud site. New leaves and pistils all growing together. Whooper!

Ultra Dawg 1

She doesn't suffer from a calcium deficiency but shows it down low. I've been mixing the calmag at 1 teaspoon per gallon and will likely double that going forward. I don't think UD is ever going to come to love a 2 gallon softie. She probably doesn't enjoy growing in a tent.

Daytona 500 today. Have a great day.

Yep she's low on calcium, but just barely. She's mostly showing potassium deficiency at the bottom, which means she needs to be given both. Something like 75% Ca and 25% K drench or even 50/50 would probably do... also mind her, cause UD is really quick. Some come down just after 6 weeks. After she passes early flowering she's ready in a flash.

I think you should really speak with Sue about the last stretch indoor, cause she saw it happening and will be able to lead you better on this than me.

I'm a real misfit. I gave these girls one of the few organic Fox Farms products I had....mostly bird guanos with kelp. She'll be alright before you know it.

Thanks KB....and just to prove that I have uploaded a picture I'll do that too. I got a little paranoid about having the male in the flower tent I took her out and she gets a little natural sunlight just stinking up my bedroom.

thats a nice looking male are you going to use any pollen from that bad boy!

He's going to have a little fun with UD 1 and may get a dance with Fx 1 and/or 2. I guess he could also dance with Labyrinth. Lots of possibilities.
