What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Evening Jim :passitleft:
Dont get up bro. Just passin thru.
Keep it green as always.
;)

High Bob...Timber shipped their Model 1CL to me yesterday. Expected next Monday.

Did anyone happen to see that Moon last night or in my case, early this morning. Super Blue and quite a looker.

Happy 50th birthday to the McDonald's Big Mac. Sad to say it's still a favorite of mine.

:passitleft: Back to my man Stage. Man your crops are looking good over there.

I spent some time grooming the veg girls yesterday and was a little surprised at how they reacted. Labyrinth had a couple low branches and fans removed and I tipped her longest upper branches. I think I tipped one slightly longer that its opposite site but she'll do ok even if slightly lopsided. First thing this morning she had her leaves up in prayerful growth.

All the Fast n Vast x Master Kush x Panamas that hadn't been trimmed before got it pretty good. I'm taking the large fan below some of the branches just as an experiment. Lower two branches get removed in all cases.

They all really looked good to me and I'll probably move UD #1 into the bloom room some time this week. She's growing so well and roughly 8 weeks will put into a harvest window somewhere around my birthday. I'm already projecting into the future here. Need to grab some reality here.

Anyway...Here are the girls today.

Bloom tent up first. Bud sites developing all up the colas and there really hasn't been much stretch. I suspect the #2 pots limiting that action.

Have a great day folks. Hair cut day. Chemdawg in the pipe. :bongrip: Oh....don't forget to vote in the contests.

They're getting slightly calcium hungry. Don't forget to add some before you flip and in flowering.

Smeegol, may I ask why the VG? You already have the infusion done but lack the liquid sunflower lecithin? If you have access to soy lecithin that's non-GMO that would work. Our hesitation about soy lecithin is directly a result of soy being GMO, something no one needs in the gut.

The lecithin disperses and envelopes the oil-bound cannabinoids, making absorption easier. The VG wouldn't really do the same thing.

Congratulations on the oil production. :high-five: May the formulation give you the desired results.

Conrad, how can you tell that from the pictures? Your instincts amaze me, and now I'm wondering what you see that I don't.

Your D.C. Looks lost in that class Jim. Lol! She's a pretty one though and it looks like very soon here you'll be getting a taste. Will you be trying another seed?

The older UD is begging to go to flower. I like UD, but I'm personally drawn more to sativas. That Blue Dream is a wonder, I tell ya. So many times my hand hoboes over the nug jars and settles on the BD. I'm looking at my schedule for the next opportunity to drop another seed. Someday you'll get the warm and grateful hug I contemplate every time I crack open the jar and smile. :battingeyelashes:

Good afternoon there Jim sir. I hope your day is turning out fabulously great.

I'm attempting your olive oil infusion, but was unable to get lecithin anymore only the soya based... Was wondering if I could add veg glycerine and reheat it tomorrow a little.

Have a great afternoon......

What SweetieSue said. All I can add is that the lecithin affects bioavailability and I'm not so sure about absorption. If the oil is for ingestibles you should add the lecithin. If the oil is to be applied as a topical in some form, I would think soya based would substitute well but could just be an option. I really don't know.

Thank you for your knowledge. I'm really not the subject matter expert.

I think he examines them closely. Bottom leaves do show some early signs of some sort of deficiency right now. I'm slow to diagnose because ...because I just am slow normally.

I'll grow another DC. I wasn't planning on it being an auto but I want to see if the Carnival comes through.

Duly noted. I'm always one to use a marker for such things and February 1 is a good one. Ultra Dawg #1 was welcomed into the Bloom tent this morning. I top dressed everything in there with some magic fairy dust and watered well. She'll be just fine. I'm accustomed to growing less than perfect. Hell I was a C student.

I've noticed that you've awarded the Blue Dream with some glowing and even orgasmic comments. I'm so glad you grew her. Maybe I'll plan a trip to your area this year and I can bring you some of the parental cut in one form or another. I got a hug yesterday from my friend/hair stylist.:hug::hug: Hugs are good.

Thankyou very much for your quick and kind reply SweetieSue, much obliged. I used leaf and sugar leaf from a mutual friend, average street skunk. So I'll be having scrambled eggs in the morning, have a wonderful evening......

C a pass.. f made an easy b, except mum wanted to know why all the b were in red pen :rofl::passitleft: hope your well mate..

Man that's got me.. what you in your 60's, I'm mid 40's.. we still defining ourselves by our mental state at ages of 10-16... sarcasm starting; what a beautiful nurturing environment school was..

Yeah I just compare them to my own plants, that's it :)

Have a great weekend, Sue :passitleft:

Grizz...Yesterday morning I was smoking my bowl in front of the tent and my thoughts wandered to how hard my mom had to work to keep the knees of my pants patched up so I didn't look like extreme poverty.

I spent a bunch of time on my knees shooting marbles. That was how kids had fun back in the day. Roller skates, spinning tops, yo-yo, skipping rope, baseball. My youth.

Yeah...I was pretty stoned. 68 next month.

My day sure improved yesterday when I saw roots on some of the cuttings. Four more of my babies now have clones so their mothers can now be sexed over in the bloom tent as soon as I believe they are ready. I still have a bit of trimming to do on those moms and tbh I haven't looked at any of them closely for pre-flowers.

I rarely do any LST anymore just a bit of leaf tucking and tipping those leaders. More cuts will be developing those roots soon. The little Labyrinth cut doesn't look well at all. I hope she'll make it but I've seen stubborn ones die. We'll just move on if that happens.

The flowering girls are just filling in those bloom sites on their colas and it's quite a change from my last grow. Full spectrum from the Mars LED is so much more productive and I'm really looking forward to getting those Timber cobs in there. They're supposed to be here in a couple of days.

Every now and then I think about looking at the trichomes on that Devil's Carnival. Here's what I found when I did. The batteries in my loupe are dead. All trichs are clear and still developing.

Utltra Dawg looks so bright and pretty in there. She's going to be a sight.

Some time next week I may dig out some the Blue Dream pollen from the freezer and paint a branch of a Pakistan Valley and see what happens. I'll get to see if pollen is viable after such an ordeal. Stay tuned.

That's all I have for today folks. Bright sun shine here for the past two days but freezing cold again. To me February is always the cruelest month. Short, but cruel. Better days coming. Smoked some of my Blue Dream from an S1 seed this morning. Pretty hard hitting after a 2 month cure and so smooth. More testing is needed but the smoke is pure silk. That's just more encouragement to get that pollen from the freezer next week.

I have an ounce of that Blue Dream S1 set aside for a proper cure. You should have seen the smile that stole across my face when I read that. :battingeyelashes:

The team looks fit and happy Jim. That was much more than a simple glance at the garden. :laughtwo: I think we can all agree it was enough. Great roots on the cuttings! :high-five: I have a couple I need to make a decision on. The roots are long enough they'd hit the reservoir in the hempy pots. Yes, I'm tempted. :laughtwo:

It's always such a pleasure to stop Jim. You have a wonderful day. I'll pull out some Blue Dream when I get home and join you.
