Welcome To My New Journal - OMMSOG

Hi Folks....Everyone of you. :high-five:

A big "Thanks to each and everyone of you!" :thumb:

:420: is the greatest MMJ site in the world. Hands Down.

I consider myself an old but fairly good Grower.

When I ran into something that I had never faced before, I asked for help and I got it in spades. If you have a problem for goodness sake ask for help.
There is no shame in trying to learn something new.

Some of you helped without even knowing it. I remembered the Deficiency Chart being in sqwheel's Journal. That is the first place I went to try to figure out what was happening with my leaves.

When my plant actually fell over, I knew I needed help. Big Time!

Where else but :420: Can you just type a name in your Journal and get immediate expert help!

Just post a message that has only this name: Twelve12. Note: Also add a small description of your problem.
Kind of like the Doctor on the old Star Trek Voyager...when the Doctor said "please state the nature of your medical emergency!"

Nothing could be easier!

The hardest part of this of this whole thing for me was lugging an AirPot full of a plant and water a couple of times. A small price to pay.

Did this work? I'll let you be the judge. Pictures coming in a few minutes.
:high-five:

Here is the White Russian now still being tied up

And here she is untied.

Note: She is totally under the light now.

She can stand by herself! However, I tied her up again.....no use pushing my luck! :Namaste:

Your plants are looking as nothing had happened, OMM! They look great. Actually, it is recommended that when people summon me for help best to include the question being ask in the same post with the name. This way it saves me time from searching for the question in previous post or few pages back. Sorry I did not clarify this before, lol. Help me help you kinda thing. Everyone gave great advice. This is a great forum!

OMM- Why do you use R/O water from safeway... isn't the water in Hawaii good from the tap? Did you have it tested?

it depends what island your on
the newer islands dont have that great a water only the 2 oldest islands have good water from tap.
some places in maui when it rains hard and long you get brown water
on the big island im not sure how the water is in the hilo side but in kona they use rain catchment to get thier water and if it dont rain theyre forced to get water somehow...

I was trying to get caught up enough so I didnt echo something tha'd already been stated, and then I saw Brother Sisco said exacltly what I was thinking...

I remember a Dog, a "blue" one...Who used OC+...I remember watching his grows and learning that OC+ can be brutal when used under too much heat. Now, while "too much" heat may be relative to the strain, it could very well be that this strain has a lower tolerance to heat. I believe one of the consequenses of too much heat and OC+ is a release of too much N, which, if it happens fast enough could cause a lockout of MG, and express that def before the signs of N overdose appear...
Whatever it was, it looks as though you've got her feeling better already, so, good!!

Keep a close eye on her OMM!

Did somebody call me using the :tokin: signal???

Glad to see that the girl is back on her feet, remember to keep the temps as cool as possible with that OC+ :Namaste:

That was me Sisco!! :tokin: You got the signal !

Unfortunately, this is the coolest I get it.....no purps here! :circle-of-love:

No, My Friend we have really bad water here, Read one of your water bills real closely. We drink our water filtered too. Too much junk in it. Maybe on other islands, but not this one. Another thing about RO water is that it a perfect neutral pH 7.0 perfect for soil. Gee I feel bad telling you this. :smokin:

Hey Quix.
Some how I remember that Dog:grinjoint: I will have my car paid for in about 4 months...then I may buy a small window AC and pipe it straight into the tent, as least on the hottest days. Until then I will just keep it as cool as possible. Thanks for the info!

hmm pipe it into the tent
nice idea
but dont you want it a little on the warm side and not so humid when its flowering? to help the resin production?
just a question want to confirm the stuff i read out of books or netbooks or kindle books blah people dont use real books anymore
as far as humid i think ac help dry out humidity but doesnt help the warmth part...

oh yea i forgot about molokai
i think they got decent water there but no one grows indoor there they wont wanna spend the extra money on the electricity and besides all those hawaiians just grow out in thier backyard the old school way throw em in the dirt and let em grow lol
not sure about lanai tho but they get alot of good rainwater and alot of cool weather for a tiny island

Bad? no need to feel bad fella. I just re-read the water bill-- looks like they charge only a few bucks for 1000 gallons-- is there an analysis of the water on it? They don't use chloramine do they? Could explain a lot. From what I read on the BOWS site, they said minimal chlorine treatment...

p.s. Nice recovery on the WR. Whew!
