Should the seedlings stay in tent and if so should I raise them closer to the LEDs? They're about 18 inches below the light. Or should I put with the new clones under cfl?

Nice work, WMO! +REPS! :welldone:

The seedlings can stay under the LED, just keep an eye on them since they may need a day or two to adjust to the high intensity of the LED if you previously had them under CFL's. If they start looking like they're burning, move them farther from the light.

Thanks Krip! Will keep em in the tent.

Rock on!

O hey, just casually pulling my chair over here :)

Good job, they look very happy and healthy ;)

Thanks LC! Welcome! :welcome:

Here and upto date ween. i did that Super fast stoner reading (looking at pics and reading a few posts) looks like you got it all in order over here. Subbed in for the ride.

Thanks Am4zin! :welcome: glad to have you.

:thumb: great job getting those back under the screen.

Thanks Dirt!

I got my 420 scope today and am having a difficult time using it. I was able to get a brief look but then it quickly disappears. Am I supposed to put it directly up to the bud? I'm assuming yes because that is the only way I got to see anything.

I need a soil ph tester, a ppm tester and those humidity things to put in jars with curing buds. Suggestions on what and where to buy?

Rock on!

Sample, sample, sample! :lot-o-toke:

Look at the trichs when it's where you like it so you'll know when to do your next harvest of the same strain/clones. The OLD "rule of thumb" was 20% amber, but it can vary depending on the strain/pheno.

(and Canna is correct...more amber equals more couchlock! ;) )

It all depends on what kind of smoke you want. The more amber tri's you have, the more couch lock it will be.

Thanks Canna and Krip!

Ok, the budding clones will be good to sample so I will know when to harvest the George's. My GF likes to have daytime and nighttime meds so we will experiment.

Thanks Pat!

I topped Donna today. Bernice and Hillary are catching up quickly.

I need to start testing the buds from the clones so I'll know when to harvest the George's. Suggestions on how to quick dry a few buds or if I should do that at all? I've left a few leaves in the tent and they dried pretty quick, would that work? Or should I not rush the dry?

For sampling, a quick dry is fine. I would sample each of your strains at least a couple/few hours apart WITHOUT smoking in between so you can get the full effect of each strain without the lingering effects of anything else. It won't taste as good as the cured bud, but you'll get a good idea of the type of high it gives you.

You only need enough for 2-3 FULL tokes. You can just leave a small bud or two on top of a cable box, radiator, refrigerator, etc. until dry enough to smoke; or put it in a toaster oven on LOWEST possible setting and check every 1-2 minutes (it will dry very quick there and you don't want dust!), sometimes I'll use my food dehydrator (probably an expensive way to quick dry some small buds, but efficient! :cheesygrinsmiley: ). Worst case, if you leave it in the summer sun for a couple/few hours, I wouldn't be surprised if it was dry enough to sample.

BTW...you asked the question a slightly different way on the "CannaNis" journal. Here's the part I answered over there that was missed here:

You don't need to start sampling until mostly cloudy. The issue is how much THC (cloudy) you want to sacrafice for CBN (amber). The commercial growers all harvest late b/c they want the extra weight! ;)

So now all 3 plants are showing signs of yellowing , it's not bad, maybe 10% or less per plant and otherwise look healthy. Dirt suggested flushing but my problem is that they're in a detached garage with no water source so I'll have to carry in 63 gallons and also figure out a way to drain it which I know I'll have to figure out eventually. Are there any other suggestions? They are going to need watered today or tomorrow, can I add Cal mag to the water and if so how much?
