Fine... you started it! lol.
I know I started it.
Here is another good Bill Murray one Scrouged.
Great movie.
Hmmm... is this one of those movies with some scenes purposefully being shown in wrong order? No, that can't be... this is a time-loop comedy and they are a formula-dependent story form, like farces. The art is in the execution.
Gotta get you parked in a little SIP over-winter to get a feel, see if you'd be comfortable. For the Big Show next spring, 30-40gallon, single-plant SIPs are a dawdle to build, but my solution, Rubbermaid trashcans, are likely to have a 4-6inch height penalty over your similar-sized cloth pots. Def. a concern in the greenhouse. Extra-large totes would be the answer, and cut down the lid to use a false floor, propped by rings of PVC.
I'd say don't fall for low-reservoir volume SIPs (under 5 gal rez) for anything other than an experiment, yeah they work great, but the massive opportunity to make life way (way) easier, with no drop in final weights (or even a bump) is too good to pass up. Not that you can't do the work anymore, just maybe now you'd get more time fishing, and keeping "My Two Sons" in line.
I appreciate that and will keep you in mind if I go that route.
I'd like more people to try my method.
It makes pots impossible to over water and is great for new growers.
So i like to show them.
But the workload with 25 girls is going to be unsuitable in the long run.
Man, that fert we're both using, in SIPs this year it absolutely crushed my previous fruits and veg harvest records.
MC. ? Thank you so much for that.
its been a life saver, great stuff.
i bump the p & k for flower.
i find the N high.
Like my junior year Bulldogs vs. the '73 Steelers, crushed. Seems that fert has a lot of effective soil conditioners that work to prevent salt buildup, as my root post-mortems have all looked real good that way. Zero build-up.
Isn't that great.
My trays and pots were bullet proof from my previous nutrient.
This is brilliant.
And with river water the ph drops right to 5.8 and stays, fantastic.
Ya'know, groundhog day ain't so bad. I mean, really, what do you actually get if you emerge from the loop? You get to experience... the second week of February... so maybe some expectations management is in order? lol.
That's the key to everything, management of expectations.
Something I've never been any good at.
I can handle Ground Hog Day though.
And I have a end in sight.
Just don't know if its train I see or a light at the end of the tunnel.
4 weeks left after 8 months.
It's going to be a big push to get everything to the finish line and into jars/Grove Bags.
But I'm up for it.
I sprayed SNS again yesterday.
Buds are forming and its do or die right now.
Rot isn't just bad in my garden.
I get devastated aswell.
I'm too attached to my garden.
Speaking of which I should be out there working but it's freezing.
How is your morning going Amigo?
