Excellent idea and thats easily doable!!! I think the main thing is to expose them to significant heat for a few days to kick off the process
You’ve done the oven bake before. It didn’t work. Side note, I’d fucking gut my man like a fish if he put dirt in my oven.
If it was me, I’d scrap that soil and start again.
Bring it back to basics, get rid of every plant/clone, clean grow area. New dirt. New beans. New beginning.

It worked like a charm…..only sterilized a small batch for Amy’s seed starting last time.
the problem is I’ve got a dozen bags brand new store bought soil products that’s spawning gnats out the wazoo. Mostly I use gas grill outdoors for such endeavors and I’ve got a aluminum foil turkey pan / flip it on the half shell strategy so I can mass produce it but it’s still one freaking pan at a time…
I’ll grill enough pans to fill a 7 gallon fabric bag which will be plenty for now and then slow cook the rest of new dirt in plastic garbage cans exposed to summer sun…. that will kill any nasties

after I dump a few corpses in river tonight there should be plenty of room.
Yeah prolly way too soon for that turd to fly.
plan to do combo cook, some will sit in back of Jeep for a week then go to gas grill, the others bags will go from Jeep to plastic trash cans. That patio gets sun most of the day so that soil will be toasty

slowed engine down in response to critters, raised lights and revamped ipm protocols. I believe (hope like heck) they are turning corner on pests. It looks like a jungle but that’s all background, plants are sitting in plastic tray - not in the grass….. stupid neighbor keeps buzzing thru on tractor so I’m put the girls outta sight indoors

not much, only 52 watts light, sadly they haven‘t been back out in the sun.
dont think my dream of legal outdoors will pan out this year, I’m pretty floored about it. I’ve got great spots & plants ready to go and even tho it’s remote location there’s too many trespassing across and I’m not there enough.
had considered heavy duty chain link kennel with same HD chain link roof then anchor to ground on inside plus cellular trail cameras.
others options are outdoor stealth or stay indoors. Sitting on the fence but I really wanted sun grown bud

original plan was low wattage blue light, keep internodes tight. Then critter fest happened so we kept them in slow-mo, small containers / neglected to upcan thinking they would go outdoors.
anywho it’s long overdue, gonna upcan now crank wattage then flip the switch in few weeks - get on with the program. sadly indoors but it’s better than none I guess. So bummed but bright side is my indoor garden is secure
it’s hotter than blue blazes, yesterday I had to take a shower right after getting out of the shower. In other news spring thru fall means we are in full get-r-done son mode….. and when I say we - I mean me.

Still in full swing / not much happening in garden right now. Blue Dream turned out to be male so he got the axe. Its bean time again - order new genetics. Also clearing a spot hopefully for next seasons outdoor Legal but Stealth project.
Gotta get dialed in better and I need to get a light meter…. seems I recall you have an iPhone app??

Photone is probably what you're looking for. @BakedARea posted about using it all the time (when he was still around) and you can read him defend the app to a no-longer-here member in this post.

we’ve had magnificent fall season but leaves are jumping ship, another 2 weeks trees will be bare.
here’s 2 young ones, couple weeks old - I forget precise DOB but both hatched on same day
left is wedding cake in soil with geoflora organic dry mix. looking to convert her to a SIP, this was regular seed and last 2 turned up male so fingers crossed for a chickie chick.
right is super silver haze (fem seed) sipping on the crop of mega… hempy style pumice & perlite
so much to do, running in the tent for now but need more beans, another tent plus still need to clean and reset flower room.
