today we had our first winter thunderstorm of the season…. you know what that means?
flipped wedding cake on Dec 23rd, she’s been in the tent with cooler temps than I’d like. For some reason that room will not heat up this winter.
moved WC to flower room Jan 3rd but at flip day +12 she’s still very shy on showing any fuzz. She’s got about 8 even node pairs above the soil line, (snipped 2 bottom pairs early on) and she has at least 7 staggered nodes up top. Yep I’ve finally seen a calyx or 2 with tiny hairs but to be a fairly ginormous plant that’s 12 days into flower she’s not in a hurry to bust out of her prepubescent ways. She was just upgraded to 10.5 on 13.5 off with her move to flower room yesterday.
WC is wearing a black 5 gallon SIP, her res finally went dry on Jan 2 from the initial filling when transplanted into the SIP. She does have rice hulls as ground cover and soil mites to boot. The soil mites were accidental / not intentional but they do work as predators and ignore the foliage. Soil mites died down after last IPM spraying but were rebirthed after I water sprayed the next dose of Geoflora top dress in. Hosed them down with SNS again.
SSH is still grinding along, she is doing good in early flower but can’t shake yellowing lowers. Shes dropping lowers faster than a 10 dollar hooker on dollar nite… Shes soaking her toes in MC @ 5.5 gram per gallon plus I’ve thrown pk boost & mag on top of her MC to no avail, and, and, and, yep she’s getting all the other goodies MSA, humic, fulvic, superthive, ph adjusted to 5.8 for perlite & pumice hempy. I recognize I’m kinda out on a limb with perlite & pumice but I just wanted some weight in the bucket hence the pumice… anywho shes had a few low dose H2O2 spa treatments.
SSH 8 weeks post flip = Feb 6th
will drop pics soon
