The 2nd one is 220v the top one is 110v

My wiring is black-left, white-top, red-right

ok..from what I understand the wiring might be different in the States so im not sure what the red is,probably lots of vids on youtube that will show you step by step how to do it properly bro:)

The red and black are typically hot (both 110) and the white is the neutral.

Drive bye Vic. Hey whatever you do make sure you leave room for some expansions. You know how we all seem to grow, that will work, and once that works, we always want to upgrade. It's never 100% dialed in. Hope things are growing great there Vic Keepem Green

Hey Wood!

Things are groovy.
I'm always moving towards expansion.
Could probably handle the 2 600's but that's as far as I'd be going at this place..;)

Thanks Buck, and jon for the reps guys!!
:high-five::high-five:

These things are blowing up right now!
I think I hit a sweet spot with feeding.
X's point about flushing with 1/4 strength nutes really does work better than just plain water.
I've done it 5 times now, and they're loving it!!!! Seemed before there was always a little bit of a slowed growth for a few days after.
But now they just keep stacking, with no down time.

What ever camera your using is HD and I love it. Million dollar pictures Vick! :thumb:

Reps Vick. I hope to treat OG the same way once mine comes. :)

Thanks Whiz,
The camera I use is a Canon G11.
So easy to white balance, it's tag sharp, and even a dumb dumb could use it..
I bought it for the wife for Christmas last year.. lol
Now I use it more than she does..

I should have bought her 2, 600 watt ballasts this year.
Ha!

slap!

"just kidding honey!!!" :)

I'd like to pose a question for those that have had experience using silca addatives.
Although I know I already have PM in my plants, will using Rhino, or any other silca product help my already infected plants to fight off Powdery mildew or at least keep it at bay for longer periods??
If it's more of a thing to prevent PM by creating a barrier before PM is introduced, then I'll probably pass on picking some up.

Interested in hearing your thoughts.
Whiz I know you'll be chiming in on this, cuz I know you swear by the stuff.

Re: Vick074-OG Kush last run in CocoSoil-CO2-1KHPS-5X5tent-with Porta Scrogs!? porta

Well, kinda yes kinda no.

When I said plug into, I mean:

Make a junction box with a male plug on say a 3-4 ft cord that plugs into that wall dryer outlet.

Exiting the junction box is heavy ass wiring to another junction box with 4 x 220v outlets some 20 odd feet away near the rooms.

I would plug in each 220v timer, specifically this apollo 5 for each lite.
TITAN CONTROLS - APOLLO 4 & APOLLO 5 - 24 HOUR/ IN-LINE LIGHTING CONTROLLERS- Titan Controls | Environmental, Timing, Ventilation & Lighting Controllers

Issue is making the junction box(s) I aint no expert on this, that's for sure.

Sounds like you're describing a sort of extension cord. I'm saying to remove the female outlet. That outlet is in a box already, so just buy a cover for it. Then connect your new run (I think you said it was 20') to the wires in the old outlet box and run the wire to your new box. From the new box, you will need to junction off to your 4 outlets. I think you're on the right track, just get rid of using any plugs. Twisting together the wires with wire nuts will give you a better connection than a plug IMHO. The plug might be fine, but I don't like it when you're talking about using all 30A @240V.

I use these timers:
Titan Controls Apollo 11 240 Volt digital timer for use in greenhouse, indoor gardening and hydroponics- Titan Controls | Environmental, Timing, Ventilation & Lighting Controllers

The 2nd one is 220v the top one is 110v

My wiring is black-left, white-top, red-right

The red and black are typically hot (both 110) and the white is the neutral.

oldman is correct. Usually, red and black are the 2 hot wires and white and copper are common/ground. Not all 240 circuits will use the red wire though. My 2 240V circuits are only 3 wire. I ran 4 wire romex, but the outlets only use 3 wires. If it's a 3 wire 240V circuit, then black and white will be hot and the bare wire is the common/ground.

Good luck with the wiring. That dryer outlet can definitely be used. I'd like to see what you end up doing, but I sort of like to see how the grow rooms are built more than the plants :p

ok I did a little reading on another forum and the growers there swear by this stuff for pm or any other kind of mold or bug infestation, from what they're saying I think im getting some myself, heres the link bro.
Citrofresh 750 ml Trigger: Just Hydroponics

Wow!
Sounds like the all in one, mold and bug defender!!
Thanks for that jon!
I might have to order a bottle of that!

for any others wondering about this stuff here's the deets:

CITROFRESH 1 LTR

ORGANIC SANITISER

Citrofresh is a unique organic compound used in the medical, hospitality, and food industries as the only non-toxic, chemical free, 100% organic disinfectant available in the world. Citrofresh kills bacteria, mould, mildew and fungi.
In an enclosed area such as a greenhouse or growing room, Citrofresh is in a league of its own. Offering total control against moulds & fungi. Outdoors, the dual effect of destroying pathogens and barrier control means that you now have a spray that really works.
The natural organic ingredients in Citrofresh are made from plant extracts and not chemicals. They are formulated to combine with the plant, creating a powerful, long lasting, anti-microbial effect. There are no side effects or safety problems associated with the use of Citrofresh.

First Response Last Resort

Irrespective of your plant's problem, your first response should be to spray it with Citrofresh. Your problem may be as simple as an insect attack on the root system, or heavy attack from pathogen bacteria. Identifying the specific type of insect or pathogen and selecting the appropriate remedy is now unnecessary. Pathogens, as well as bugs and insects, do not have to be individually identified! If you need a microscope to see it, Citrofresh will destroy it.
Because Citrofresh eliminates your pathogen load on contact, nutrients coming up from the roots will feed pathogen free leaves. This will give your plants an immediate boost without placing any stress on the plant's metabolism.
If your plants are overly infected with insects and you don't feel they will survive treatment by a pesticide/insecticide. You should apply Citrofresh first and then allow your plants the time they need to recover before spraying with an insecticide.
Even when you think the plant has gone past the point of recovery, try Citrofresh as a last resort. Because it produces no negative reaction with plants and does not put any pressures on the plant root system, Citrofresh goes far beyond the limits of previously used chemical alternatives!

APPLICATION
Spray directly on mould, mildew or bacteria, on beds, growing media, benches, support structures, floors and surrounding areas. Spray whole or part of plant above and below leaves.

Note: When roots are contacted, use a plant stimulant, not food to reinvigorate plant.
