have you or anyone else heard of maple leaf wilson strain from afganistan around 1969 was taken to berkley university where a professor n students developed that strain in hague or ashbury san fran area or flying dutchman humbolt county lost track of these guys in the 80s sure would like to have some pollen from og have a strain might need a boast lol

go to a dog groomer and get a bag of dog hair place a couple of hand fulls in like a onion bag place 4to 6 around crop always worked here in canada we have a problems with jack rabbits they will jump the fence and the hair doesnt always work for them

go to a dog groomer and get a bag of dog hair place a couple of hand fulls in like a onion bag place 4to 6 around crop always worked here in canada we have a problems with jack rabbits they will jump the fence and the hair doesnt always work for them

So tonight I had no choice but to defoiliate because the PM came back. A little earlier than I had planned, but it was just so packed in there light penetration and air circulation weren't as good as they should have been.
I stripped them down pretty heavily. Ended up pulling a 5 gallon bucket full of leaves.
Took almost 3 hours, but thanks to the porta scrogs I could move them out easily, haircut then right back in.
I'm going to make sure that I time any moving in and out, with just before feeding.. That way the pots are lighter and easier to hump in and out.
They look pretty bare now. But the light penetration is hitting everything right down to the pots. Buds are tracking along quite nicely now. RH is good, temps are good, CO2 at 1000 PPM.
Planning a heavy PM spray tomorrow, an hour before lights on.

After the bitch slapping they received tonight, I rewarded them with a 6 gallon recovery feed between them:


per 3 gallon:

base- 9 mls gro 21mls micro 36 mls bloom

Bio Root- 30 mls
Cal mag- 15 mls
Grozyme- 27 mls
Floralicious plus- 3 mls
Liquid Kool Bloom- 6 mls
Superthrive- 3 drops
Liquid Gold- 10 mls

PH-6.5
PPM 850

I was wondering if you posted anymore details about the construction of your little porta scrogs. I've been training mine with wire, but it's very time consuming. More than once I've missed the vollyball net I used to have strung above my trays, but I don't want to give up the ability to move plants around. It looks like you just attached some chicken wire to the top of a tomato cage, right?

One thing I've learned about this plant that's bushed, is when allowed to stretch its legs (BIG POTS), and nutrients are dialed. It spits out so many leaves it becomes a daily defol to keep up with how fast its growing. Miss one day? and you'll be fighting PM.
I really think this plant would go Nuts outside. Going to take a few clones soon, to be able to throw some in big pots outside..
Want to grow some monsters!

But unfortunately I had no choice when I defol'd as heavy as I did.
With the amount of mold surrounding my house?
And the fact that the tent is packed to the gils
AND that these plants have had PM since birth?
Made me think they couldn't be breathing properly.
And as a responsible parent.
I couldn't see my babies suffocating in their crib any longer!
so I snipped..

If I had more space, by all means I'd just pull the branches out more, clip what leaves were blocking sites, and let em go.
But being so confined in a tent, it's a different story all together.

I'd love to see what one plant could do in that tent.
Vegged and trained for like 3 months in a 20 gallon DWC or airpot.
I think it would be easier to get 2 P's with 1, than with 5!

That might be my next project.

I understand where you are coming from. Actually removed two plants from the tent yesterday and put the back in the clone/veg area (the MMMF was out of control) Gave them a defo first. Also took a lot of leaves off the plants in the tent...No signs of pests anywhere and still have a ladybug or two cruising the bloom tent. I got over two oz's from the little LST'd plant I had in the tent, but I had stressed the crap out of it moving from closet, to closet, to the tent. I'll be interested to see what the dried and cured amounts I get from my totally Aeroponic BPN fed girls are. I didn't think you had over done defol...I have seen some very EXTREME examples and yours isn't that extreme...Later...
