Hey GV.....yeah going bigger, a Vivosun 36"x36"x72", 10" taller and 10" deeper/wider than my current Spyder tent. This is the perfect size for my grow style and room and fits with my current Vivosun 1500 LED light with room to spare. It's not too big BUT big enough to grow big and still have room to maneuver. My current tent is really tight. I also have a water pump/timer I'm trying to program between work calls, so fun times in the grow room. I have the house to myself from 3-8PM today so hoping to get her setup and moved over before everyone comes home.

Day 62 Above Ground, Day 48 of Veg

Hey 4-2-0……..It feels like forever since I've posted, missed you guys. With the kids off school for the summer its much harder to access my girl, but I have to tell you, Bubba is on fire my friends! She turned up towards the light about 2 weeks ago and has exploded in growth. She’s 16 1/2” tall now, more than double her size a week ago, and is growing about 1” per day. Her lateral growth is ridiculous (she loves all this new space), she smells like mumified hash (no berries, nuts, earth, leather, skunk, or cooking herbs on this gal), and her legs are damn sexy (makes me want to introduce Silica into my wife's diet).

So, here’s the dilemma. We are leaving on vacation for 8 days this Saturday and as timing would have it, I need to flip her into flower, ideally while I am away which obviously can't happen. That sucks but lets make some lemonade and flip her the morning we leave. While that may be a tad early, she will still be quite large, and I think its better than coming home to a 27" monstrosity that won't fit the tent when she flowers. To flip her this Saturday, I've got work to do, so see below for some tent work and picts. Have a great week everyone!

• I combined two activities that I typically would not: I flushed her today with 4G of a 25% solution of CalMag, Big Bloom, and 2.5 ML/G of FoxFarm Sledge Hammer, a flushing agent (basically Yucca) and while watching her drain, I gave her a mid-sized pre-flip trim of her lower leaves and runners. She looks much more open and can show off those gams!
• Bubba will need some water while I am away (8 days is too long) so I’ve installed a Rainbird watering pump/timer to hit her with 1.5G on day 5 of the trip. NASA rockets aren’t tested as thoroughly as I have tested this pump!
• I plan to flip her on Saturday right before we leave, so will make that my last act before leaving the house
• Finally, Bubba is going to need to be put on a new flower-focused feed regiment this week….I'll hit her with that new feed when she's dried from the flush.

Hey Herrjack, this one has leaves touching both sides of the tent, so almost 3 feet wide BUT her primary colas will all be within/strapped to a peony ring (photo's below) which is about 18" wide, and I will trim away most of the runners that add to her girth.

Day 66 Above Ground, Day 52 of Veg

Hey folks, Today is the last day of veg for Bubbles. She's 20" tall and primed for the flip, maybe a little scraggly looking (I didnt do the best job of trimming her lower runners so will have to take them at week 3's trim). I'm leaving tomorrow for a week, a million things to do (including pack all my fly fishing gear, Salmon Fly Hatch!!!!) so no time for BS.......

1. Setup an automatic watering pump (made by Rainpoint) inside the tent, pre-loaded with 2G of PH'd DI water. I need to get a bubbler or something to auto-stir for next time so I can add nutes, its just water and Calmag but will keep her going while I am away. The timer will kick off mid way through the trip for 30 minutes (and the app on my phone will tell me when she's done, pretty cool).
2. Fed her today, her last Veg feed (PPM 980). In past grows I would have added a Phosphorous and Potassium Injector to this feed, called FoxFarm Open Sesame, and the PPM would have been way higher, but I am not going to do that this grow.
3. Spritzed her with FoxFarm KISS yesterday, a cool little foliar feeding product, and just gave her a weekly dose of silica. Her leaves look the coolest, dusky green color, like a grey blue tint
4. I dusted her soil with liberal amounts of Great White Myco right before her silica snack....she's loaded with nutes and bugs for the week
5. I'm going to manually shut the lights off tonight at 7PM, reset the timers, and then she will be on a 12x12 light cycle beginning tomorrow, in flower after 53 days of veg.
6. She's got herself a brand new peony ring in place to help position the colas and support her as she flowers

They are 12” wooden barbeque skewers, they will hold until you get her to the edge of the pot and then you can anchor her there.

Hey 420, I'm back after an 8 day vacation and Babs is alive and well, if not a little hairy (leafy) looking in the middle. It's amazing how much I missed her while I was away and couldn't unpack until I checked in on her late last night! She looks femininely beastly at 26" tall, about 6" of growth while I was away. The only issue was minor, one of her mains got hung up on the peony ring and was bent funny trying to grow around it, easily fixed with no harm done.

I consider a plant to be in the pre-flower stage until pistils appear (which I spotted easily yesterday) and then count that sighting as day 1 of flower. Following that logic, today is day 2 of an estimated 53-63 day flower cycle. I expect her to be in full stretch this week and fed her today in preparation, an EC1.8/1280PPM feed that included FoxFarm Tiger Bloom (NPK 2-8-4, core flowering product) for the first time. I checked in on her an hour ago with a slurp of silica water and she was really, really jacked up, praying for that light, so I think she enjoyed that shot of PK in Tiger Bloom.

Thanks GV, We did, I love the mountains! Yeah Bubba needed some time away from me as well and she looks better for it lol. I was thinking about that, stretching her out wide a bit more. I'm heading in there soon to check her and lay down some worm casts so will take a look at how I might stretch her a little wider. She really needs a trim, waiting for the stretch to slow.

No, one was an auto-flower and two others I topped and then trained "normally". This is my 3rd try at mainlining

Bubba is in the deep throes of her stretch, 4” in last 2 days and she’s now 2 1/2 feet tall with pistils everywhere. I can’t believe I’m saying this, I need a bigger tent!
