Tunkers Trifling - LPA - DWC - LED - KFC

What the fuck did I do to this? No nutes, temp is fine, Humidity is now in the 50s. Roots look great. Leaves look like I just chundered on em...

Used to make it like that when I was much younger. Best way we did it was to take a slow cooker and put about an inch or so of water into it and bring the temp up to about 90oC. Strain your solution through a coffee filter into a glass container and set it into the slow cooker. No open flame and it boils off nicely in a few hours. A razor blade will make life easy to scrape the oil out of the glass container and the glass will scrape right clean so you waste nothing.

Actually I think we used cooking oil in the slow cooker instead of water. It held the heat better and wasn't anywhere near its own boiling point.

Nail it!

I'm thinking also possible, because it looks like a chemical burn of some kind, maybe some of the ferment had come through my Co2 hoses and dripped on the poor thing? Shouldn't have because I filter through a second chamber before running it in but it seems more plausible then light burn by looking at it

I know you want to succeed with your aero-spray-bubble-mist system... but I'm a firm believer in establishing a lot of strong roots before moving them to a hydro setup. I've had good success when roots are busting out everywhere in the Rapid/Ready Rooter thingies.

That said, I'm abusing my poor GL clones. They're 6" tall and still in Solo cups and have a mass of fine hair roots, no thick water roots, but I know when I wash them free of the soil they're going to explode in the hydro system.

I'm hearing ya but I've done this before with no probs. They're in the bucket but they're actually only getting one squirt a day atm coz the jiffys are staying wet enough to not need any more then that. Some of the roots are showing fuzz and they look white and healthy. It just seems odd to have only one plant with this. I'll wait it out another day or two and keep lurking the forums

Because I'm a monster and I take pleasure in destroying plants, I just thought fuck it and got em outta the jiffys. Rinsed most of it out and then had to carefully tear the rest away from the roots... May have lost a few in the process BUT I won't have to worry about a possible gnat infestation lol

They're gonna get a squirt every 2 hours now they have zero medium and I'll keep an eye on the video feed if they need more or less, I can at least tell when they do or don't need water.. brown shit spots are a new one though.

Once again, Rider knows his shit. I put mine in my dwc as soon as I saw one root popping out. It took another two weeks to see a root out the bottom of a basket. I'm almost 60 days in and they're finally building a good root mass. I'm there's plenty in the net pot but I want a knot before I go to flower. If I gotta wait another two weeks, so be it.
Good luck with that little lady

I agree those little magical discs are great for root development, very easy to use. Only reason I removed mine from peat pot yesterday was fungus gnat concerns. I just wish I knew exactly what caused the leaf issue, otherwise I wouldn't have gone crazy and eliminated all possibilities all at once haha I'm not worried about time too much, as long as they are healthy, I'll be happy. Here's hoping!

Todays update.

Not even counting days anymore. I need to minus all the days of abuse that stunned them into motionlessness..ness...

I feel there is some improvement, at least shit hasn't got worse anyway.
