Thirvnrob's Power Plant - TLO Soil In SIP Containers

Today is day 6 after flip. They've been emptying their reservoirs in almost exactly 24 hours, but did it in a little less than 20 hours today. They're bushy & appear to be healthy and are stretching. Some of the dominant colas are beginning to show off but overall, they appear to be gaining girth more so than height. I've been using SNS203 every other day & so far no new critters that I'm aware of & I'm quite diligent in inspecting every day. One infestation is enough. The cool weather we've had here lately has helped keep insect life at bay, but they're coming.
Although the weather has been cool the RH has been exceptionally high even for here. With an A/C unit & a dehumidifier running 24/7 it was at 77% tonight when I sprayed them down.

@Buds Buddy do you defoliate?

This could’ve been ugly. The white chord is my power strip.

I do not understand electricity. That said, my shop has 200 amp service & each outlet is a dedicated 20 amp circuit. The electrician I spoke with (my son in-law) blamed it on my power strip so I’m replacing them with these…

20 amp circuit. How many plugs on that circuit? Do you use a lot of surge protectors within those plugs? Are you neutral and ground wires connected?

I was a little concerned that some of the leaves on one plant are clawing, but I believe this is normal at first in a SIP container…

Could be too much nute, particularly N. SIP grow is 100% efficient with ferts (v. Close anyway) so PPMs can be reduced. Need to black out those white pails. Black fabric is a quick fix, or contracted bags.

Srry forgot Living soil. Prob water heavy… on my phone, hard to see pics well.

Ooof! Good finding! That's a good thing to look at from time to time! All cord plugs especially. Timers too. Whew!
I went out to gaze at the girls & noticed the a/c wasn’t working. Thought I had tripped a breaker at first (as unlikely as that is) but the power strip/surge protector was the last thing I looked at. I guess it did its job…

I'm glad your safe. That's all that matters.

If this isn't a PSA. It should be.

Everyone check your cords, surge protectors, and plugs!

Yeah, I think they were adjusting to the SIP containers. They’ve mostly flattened out & some are praying. I’ll post some pics of leaves I have questions about. I’m new to organic growing & I’m loving the learning curve.
It’ll bum me out to black out the white buckets - they’re so aesthetically appealing, but it makes sense assuming you're talking about light getting to the roots?

It's running an a/c & a pedestal fan, both run on 110. As I said, earlier, I don't understand electricity so I don't know what the a/c actually pulls from the wall. Each outlet in my shop has a dedicated 20 amp circuit so I should be able run pretty much anything & not have a problem. We had a lightning storm last night that I wasn't aware of till this afternoon when my stepson told me about it (I've slept through hurricanes) so that could be the culprit - nothing else would've been running. Either way, the surge protector did it's job...

@Bill284 has the PSA we should all read & re-read. It's the reason I have a fire extinguisher in the room. A fire where I live would attract unwanted attention, not to mention the damage...

Must read for everyone...
Hey Bill, have I heard you voice objection to defoliating?

According to my son in-law, the power strip/surge protector is 16 ga wire - there you go...

Yeah, I grow great big root balls.
My girls can support everything above ground.
I see no need to remove the panels giving the buds energy.
Buds don't absorb light, fan leaves do.
Light trim under the skirt before and after flip.
Everything else produces me hard nugs so it stays.
Just my 2 cents.
Take care.

And this applies to both indoor & outdoor growing? No lollipopping?

Unfortunately I had high rh this year outside in the greenhouse so I trimmed everything under the skirt.
Normally I would do a light defol under the light line but rh was a factor so I went a little heavy.
But next year, Big Ass Dehumidifier and bushy bushy girls.
Inside they are thick and full.
