I find if I coat my trimmers with oil regularly, I don't need to clean them afterwards. Essentially two easy wipes with a fresh paper towel and the blades are good to go....just reapply the olive oil and back to snipping!! The downfall is I never get the trimmer hash that everyone else gets. It stays on the plants....where I want it to be!
 
When you say low n slo van do you mean in a jar with I lid cause I CAN do that. In the fridge open is a no go....

I have not don't bud washing as of yet. But and certianly going to try some tomorrow. I just don't have enough h202 at the moment. And I was planning to try with and without so I can have a good idea if I will implement it moving forward.

I like it idea of drying them a few differnt ways I think a few people even dry some with fan leaves. So I want to literally try every way I can. So long as it dosent involve any smell outside the bathroom .

I love all the suggestions from everyone so if there are any other methods anyone uses please feel free to chime in! I'm not scared to try much. And any flops can go straight into the subzero extractor for dabs ...

Slow and low the way Ziggy and Sue describe is in the fridge. Some use paper bags....I use the mason jars with cheese cloth over the mouth. I keep them in the crisper drawers for about 2 weeks. But if she will let you get one of those little dorm fridges, you could do slow and low in one of those.

I went with a paper bag. Either way you would need to add a fridge to the bathroom!

Also, I only did it once that way as I didn't notice any difference to the smell (terpene retention was the original reasoning for low and slow). Box to jars is my method.
 
I never trimmed in my life (sadly) but for cleaning the trimmers my friends use a sharp blade to get the exceeding trimmers hash off (like one of those gyprock blades) so they don't loose the hash and then clean the rest of the trimmer like Rider said with acetone... After that they heat up the trimmers with a lighter so there's no acetone left on it and no chemical (just be careful acetone is flammable so you need to dry the trimmers before using the lighter)

so like this you don't loose hash and you get a really clean trimmer ;)

I love to smock trimmer and finger hash :tokin:

I use 2 pairs of trimmers when I trim. I keep one soaking in a 3.5" pill bottle with enough Isopropyl Alcohol to cover the blades.
When one gets gunked up, swap em, wipe off the crud and your good to go for another 10 - 15 min. I don't care about the hash. I got to much weed as it is.

I'm feeling productive today and there is some major cleaning to be done since my attention was averted to the sickly missus. So I'm going to knock some out.

I think I'm going to try and do a nice sit down end of harvest review video here this weekend between chops. So keep your eyes peeled for the you tube link .

That reminds me Abbie looks like she may be ready as soon as Lilly is. Ffs. I can't get a break! But damn do I love it :circle-of-love:

So the plans may TOTALLY change here.... if I can whack these chicks fast enough I can move my entire veg cab over to the tub, get them into better bigger pots, do some preventative bug soaks then flip the next round.

I am unsure if I will make a new journal or not at this point? Probably not. We will continue the end of veg and flower of the "standby" plants over in "the quest for midnight sunshine".

And possibly look to start a journal for my "captain" Jack Herer auto. Guy accidently started the thread as rowing a legend instead of growing a legend. So I decided to give mine a nautical theme already ..

Enough rambling. I apologize if I don't check on your gardens as often as this will be a super damn busy next 2 or 3 weeks, but know I love all my 420 family and followers. And if you have any questions.... ask shed! Lol congrats again bud! And to penny, woody, cola monster and the other monthly and yearly winners!!

I'm lucky on that part;) my girl loves the smell of herb... the first thing she does wen we get out weed is open the bag and get a big sniff... she even go every day to see my plant and smell it(thats how I knew she was the one :circle-of-love: LMAO)
