Nice! You have great frosty and large nugs! Trimming is fun for the first time I think. Then it starts to get tedious I hear. Congrats on starting the harvest!

You don't need the cardboard box or massive circulation. You barely need air movement. Just something to keep it from stagnant. You don't want any fans pointed at your buds at all. All circulation must not be direct or you'll get a crispy outside wet inside. Really you just want to hang them in the dark for 7-10 days depending on your humidity. I like drying in 65% the longer dry the better. Better taste and it'll dry to a more dense uniform bud.
Looks good rooster. . my trimming usually goes slow and nice for the first couple, then it's . . . . . . . . . . and quality goes down a notch.

This is how i harvest,...OK.....cut the plant down at soil level , or close. Bring to trimming location. Lay on plastic, on floor. Cut one or two branches off at the main stalk. Doesn't matter where from,i like to go bottom up, saving the biggest , nicest one's for last...
Put on a good show , on TV . Do it right at your coffee table. Trim off all the fans like you did , clean them up, like you did, then after all the produce is trimmed , proceed to carry ,..in basket,...
to drying room , or location. For me , it's the grow rm. Put strings across at different spots. Hang branches ,..NOT little colas,..they will dry much too fast. leave the branches , intact , from where you cut them off the plant.
Room must have NO air movement...enough to make them sway a lil...NOT good. I leave on my exhaust fan , ONLY to deal with the smell. The space should be dark, cool and with air exchanged , but NOT moving the hanging produce. This method dries the produce enough,..in 4 - 6 days , to begin curing it. When it's hung for a few days, feel a couple smaller,..and larger buds. Do they feel a bit crispy, but still moist ,..wait another day or so,..when you can smoke a J and it is dry enough to burn OK,..then jar it in mason jars . During this process you have to closely monitor the dryness. Burping , or leaving the lids off for a few hrs. is often required to keep things OK. Keep checking the buds evry day . But leave the lids closed..only for the first day or so , should they need to be 'burped'. hope this has helped some dabbs. Here's a few pics of how i hang my stuff.

I use the boxes as a hanging rack is all. But would we look as some more behemoth buds?

Lids off in the dark. Lids on when I trim but is is the light
Not sure how much darkness I can keep them in guys but im doing my best here. Benn breaking my back trimming on the shitter already ..
They say THC degrades in the light so dark is best. What if you put some air holes in the box away from the lights, closed it up, and left it in the bathroom with the vent on?

My only issue is a can't let the smells escape the grow space. Well the bathtub is more or less sealed off so I sit on the toilet grab a branch and snip at it, hang, and grab another to repeat the process.
With the wife being sick it has given me an hour or so 2 or 3 times a day to hack at her. Wish I could trim all night since I'm up anyways, but the flower space goes dark at 9 and I can't have the light on to trim in case of light leaks ...
So I'm stuck with a few colas to chop throughout the day.
But I do appreciate your drying suggestions! I know Dr low n slo likes small nugs but there's know way in hell the wife will let me have any weed in the fridge ever! ....with the exception of butter lotion or caps.... so I've been trying to leave them in big pieces whenever I can!
Hope you week is going well. Thought it was warning up but it was back to almost -30 again today. Forgot what the sun feels like.... must be getting pumped for the big trip! Gonna be a blast I bet

Box has holes. I'll do my best to keep em dark! The bathroom fan is always on because it's rigged to the scrubber and helps the inline fan extract air.
