Day 20 of 12/12

Plants don't seem to be stretching anymore. (Thank God) At the same time I've noticed that they are putting a lot more effort into bloom. So now the interesting stuff begins to happen.

Spotlight is on the taller Purple Envy tonight. Like Twox's tall pheno of the same strain, this girl is packing on the bud faster than her shorter sibling. She has overtaken the tutankhamon in that department. The giant blue dream is still first when it comes to packing on the flowers.

The tallest girl is about 4.8ft to 5ft in size including the pot. Their are 3 others that are just about that size as well. Then the remaining 4 plants are all considerably shorter.

The shorter PE has bigger, broader leaves. So it looks more indica dominant, yet it is setting flower slower. It's still early days though, so we will see.
 
Nice plants man, gonna update mine in a min.. that other strawberry amnesia yielded 3.2 mate and it smells so hazy!! You won't be disappointed bro

Day 22 of 12/12

Did a moderate defol on all the girls today.

Not highlighting any strain today, as there was too much to do, and sunday is braai day. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Do you have any rule of thumb for what you take Blaze? The wisdom seems to be "Don't take too much, or too little" which is tough for my first time doing it! I'm 2 weeks in, so I'm going to give it a go in a week or so.
 
I will remove all the crap at the bottom that won't yield anything but popcorn bud. Then I start from the top and work my way down into the canopy so that light can penetrate two thirds down. If you can see 2/3rds down, then you have taken enough. Most big fans will be removed. I will remove any fan leaf blocking a bud site as well. I hope that makes sense bud.

I'm 2 weeks after 12/12 flip with my first indoor grow (and stupidly went straight into a perpetual 2 tent thing instead of baby steps) and was wondering about defol at this point - so thanks very much for the pointers! Your plants look super healthy and pretty. Respect from Australia!
