In the flower tent, it is 1000w HPS and 860w LED. Veg tent is just 600w HPS. Will be picking up a 1000w DE HPS system tomorrow. So I will move the 1000w cooltube setup into the veg tent, and replace it with the DE system. Then I will need to run AC in that room as well.

DE should help with weight/penetration/coverage. Vegging with 1K MH's is fun, but it wasn't what I expected. Had better luck with LED at much lower wattage. Works well though with a lot of area to cover.

Hey bud

I'm looking forward to hooking up that flexstar tomorrow. Just a little worried about the heat, but will deal with that if needs be. That portable AC weighs a ton man.

The veg tent is 8 x 4 and will only be running one 1000w HPS in there. I tried MH once and didn't like it. I've always been happy with using HPS as a veg light. I've stopped trying to convince others of that though.

BTW, those 15 Darlin's Net beans are soaking in a water and EM-prosoil solution.

Cool man, HPS can work, especially if you add some blue in there (eventually) even if it's just 6500K CFL or a cheap LED.
The enhanced spectrum bulbs are better than nothing too.
Some minimum amounts of blue will really help drive health in Veg.

I remember when I used some fancy GE bulb that was quite blue, those plants really took off man. I will see if I can't find a different bulb.

I've heard you need 3 feet space when using DE. In a 8 foot tent and 12 inch pots gives only 4 feet usability. FYI.
