The VipersNest Continuous

pit, every things lookin awesome. i was wondering how far you space your buckets apart. i have about a 8x8 space, 3 600 watt ballasts, and a 24 site ebb and gro, i havent started setting it up yet, im just wondering if im gonna be able to squeeze all those sites under my lights. they're all 3 in a straight line, so i was thinkin about using all 6 holes out of the controller bucket and making them 4 buckets long and six wide. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

if you keep the veg time short you will be ok..barely. Ive got 4 rows of 5 and they are spaced 18" apart. you can see how jammed they are. I like my plants hence the long veg times. I would cut yours down to 18 plants and see how it goes. Too many is way worse than too few..trust me I have the T-shirt
:bong:

I was incorrect with the 18"....its 24"...makes no matter.
I would say 3 hoses and 6 deep. NO BENDS if possible...keep the lines straight.

Are you Alittle considered about bottom branch light penetration? Because that is a mighty dense forest. OR 2-1000 watters no worries ? ;) :thanks: for the awesome pictures PitViper!

lookin good, those are some serious shrubberies there.

Thanks PIT. The reason why we couldn't find it ANYWHERE was because its not available to the public until December. I now know of someone who Beta tested the unit though and they say its awesome! Plus theres 50% more substrate and no more stagnant water in the buckets anymore! woohooo! Finally a ebb and gro bucket system that completely empties the buckets! Thats one thing I hated about the CAP version, now with the way this unit works there wont be any lockout issues with the buckets farthest from the rez like the CAP unit has. My understanding is that the electrical engineer that designed all the controls for CAP got fed up with CAP not updating there controls and /or not paying him enough and so he started his own company, Sentinel. So basically hes going around making every CAP system and controllers obsolete by making better new and improved digital versions of everything CAP makes but for the same price as CAPs NON digital controls. So far it seems to be working because damn Sentinel is everywhere and they are the shit. Way better than CAP in my books, in fact just about every CAP system Ive ever had beside the ebb and gro has broke within the warranty. Not to mention CAP has used the same controllers for like 20 years now with not a single improvement made to hardly anything they make and thats just bad bussiness, especially when dealing with the hydroponic industry which is typically on the cutting edge of horticulture.

On another note, how do you manage to be such a damn good 420 memeber? Do you work? lol, I mean seriously you put so much effort and time into this forum I just dont see how you find time for it all, lol. Im on here almost 24/7 and still cant post and answer nearly as many questions as fast as you can! Either way, awesome job! You are a staple member of this forum, that much is for sure! + rep if I can Thanks again PIT!:thanks::ganjamon:

yes there will be some loss of penetration but its all good. I harvest the middle and top colas and make hash from the rest of the plants. The stretching has stabilized thank god. (other than the LH which I snap every day) If ness I can remove the "robo stix" and get another 10" but I dont think it will be ness.

Hope those don't stretch too much more - you're gonna have to start digging holes for the pots!

Nice work as always Pit. :smokin:

they are slowing down big time...whoo....other then the daily abuse I give the LH.

dont you usually shave the legs more than this Pit?

Its a work in progress GI, I trimmed quite a bit and I dont mind having some loose popcorn to make hash
:rollit:

wow PIT!! thats a redwood forest going on in there. Those light movers are going to really help the light penetration w/ all that foliage. That is one hell of a room.+reps..OK..OK..Gotta spread some love first.

thanks Butcher.....some generous person voted again and kept us at 5 stars...thank you who ever you are

If I had to to it all again..I would have gone with the sentinel system but I dont think its ness. I love my EBB system and I have no root issues, no lock out no nothing. I thinks its a combo of the nutes and the grid layout is streamlined.
as far as time spent....its hard to manage but my partner handles what I cant.

yeah I definetly feeling the leg trimming you've done. I started some new mothers and PIT I must say that I will be using your trimming tech this time around. ANd how the hell do you manage all these comments..Uhh..never mind dont answer that. I dont even want to kknow..LOL..

G.I: Yeah PIT'S gotta a job. Keeping this thread in line.I swear these days we gotta get a ticket before getting to the booth to talk to Pit. Between that and the forest Pits and his partner has going. I thinkits safe to say your definetly The Paul Bunnion of 420mag. So I think His job should be considered a LUMBERJACK.

And yeah Ive never seen you have any issues with lockout either. Maybe its only a problem I have. hmmm. I do have to say that the CAP system has been a trooper and has been around for a LONG time and been VERY successful, with that sayed its still a very formidable product but I think that just like you said Pit if I was to do it all over again I would get a sentinel MEF too. Damn your fast at responding PIT!

lmao, yeah and 2 seconds after that pic was taken there were sounds of a rip roaring chainsaw and buds flying all over the place! lol
