The VipersNest Continuous

Funny ... didn't realize I hadn't given a star rating on this thread yet until I clicked off a 5 star then read some of the more recent posts. Well, hoped I helped.

Things looking great Pit. Not that there was much doubt in my mind. :goodjob:

Hey Pit...Quick question(s) I run an EZCloner also. 1) Do you have problems with the internal factory supplied pump heating your water to excess? What is your optimum water temp? Some folks say a chiller or external pump should be used? I know different strains take different rooting times but what do you average in terms of cuttings time spent on the EZ? Finally, do you have a standard nute mix? As you call tell, I have a love/hate thing goin on with my EZ...LOL Thanks man....:peace: MF

I know exactly what you mean. I bought a heater when I first got the cloner. It doesnt need it. I keep my cloner on the concrete and it stays 77-78F. The 1st time I used it I went with the Olivias @60ozs OUCH. yes I got roots in 7 days and left them in the cloner for 4 weeks. they were 16 plus inches. I had a terrible second attempt due to me not following the program. Since we switched to H&G nutes they gave us a recipe to use for clones.its pretty much the same stuff we use in our Ebb...just weaker. I only cut them yesterday so we shall what we shall see. I cut about 30 clones..we have a sweet girl who bought a tent and all the other stuff, we gave her the 1000HPS we won in the raffle. so hopefully they will supply her with good genetics, Im gonna suggest she stick with all Red Diesel for the 1st time.

Pit Man, your garden is as impressive as always.. Looking forward to watching your girls grow into women..... I will read more of this book/journal here soon.. Hell of a job Pit..... :ganjamon: Stay IRIE......

pit...thanks for the reply. It works well, pretty much self-contained/insert & walk away but the internal pump seems to be a weak spot. It does work better durin the cooler months. I have mine inside a larger water-filled tub with 1 liter frozen bottles floaters (po man chiller) Some folks swear by the EZ but there are times I'd like to take a 1 iron to mine...LOL thanks again man...:nicethread: MF

Clonex solution 1/2 strength and rooted in 7 days. EZ Coner 60. Water does get warm but not too warm. I wouldn't leave the roots soaking in the water too long at that temp. I always transplant when the roots touch the water.

99.99% success ratio. really 100% only clone I lost was due to a cutting that was too immature IMO.
