The VipersNest Continuous

The freebies look like they dont like the 1500 ppm. Looks burnt on those lower leaves and pale green over all. Could be combination of things lockout due to excessive other minerals or just plain shock due to nute burn. were they smaller to start with?

WOW!!! now those are some freebies. DAmnn i wonder why they are that way. Cause g13 and N.L are very strong strains too. I've grown haze it good but not great in my book. It did just whats happening to you, locked out early. took a couple grows to see it's full potential, like i said it was good just not great and took forever to flower. Or at least it seemed like it did.

Pit,

I fellow that recommended the H&G to me said you have to run the H&G at a lower ppm. At full bloom his ec is only 1.8. Just letting you know what I've been told so I'm passing it to you my friends. I know we all want to maximize our produce, but with H&G less may be more.

the 3 freebies were small to begin with. 1 is looking good and you saw the 2 bad ones.

you may be right. I really dont know for sure but the 2 are likely being trashed. The others look good to me...I think its the nutes. not that they are bad but they dont work at the same numbers that Ive been using for the past year. time will tell Im sure

my partner had a blinding flash of the obvious on the small plants burning up and slow growth on the rest.
1. When when we cleaned up last time and repiped everything I moved the res away from the otiginal posistion by about 3 feet. This put the res directly in the path of the r/s lamp. The res temp was clearly over 80F. It felt warm to me but I couldnt figure out what the issue. hence a great set of eyes and another opinion solved that issue
2. when we put the freebies in they had alot less root growth and coupled with high water temps and no roots...no wonder.
3.My dumbass self put the wrong timer back in and the gas was running every 15 mins on and off. It got so hot in there that the paint was bubbled...ouch
The moral of this story is that often the problems we encounter are the result of our own mistakes. you have to ask yourself...."what changed" ...we changed alot of things and jammed ourselves.

I would go with the burner going on every 15 minutes as the main culprit. My res in my ebb and flow setup was often above 84 degrees F. As long as the roots aren't continually submerged like in DWC, I find the nutrient temp isn't much of an issue. This is at least with the GH nutes I used. I didn't hit my plants hard with nutes in the beginning though either but started at 1/4 strength for the first few weeks.
