The VipersNest Continuous

no doubt a chiller would be an improvement guys but we have had the same res temp for the past year other than when I moved the res recently so Im not terribly worried about the temp in the res. It was moved back about a week or so ago. Yes we are going to add the chiller shortly..possibly when we bloom or at the latest at next cycle which is only 10 weeks away. Flushed a day early and renuted and adjusted and we should know something either way shortly..thats why I LOVE HYDRO...so fast...and so dangerous LOL

yeah, is it getting cooler these days around your parts pit? if so, and you obviously didn't have much of a problem during the warmer months, i would think you'll be in for better water temps anyways. at least thats how it's playing out for me, i finally sprang for one right when i didn't need it. but hey. . . the inventory grows steady. thats one reason for sure we get better as we age. we get more stuff.

yeah bro its getting colder. I thought I would have problem in the summer but it wasnt an issue at all. I never got my ambient temp over 82F and my res never went over 73...until I moved it 3 ft. res temp went to 80. Ive amassed more stuff in the past year that I bought and didnt need or want. A chiller can always be helpful though.

definitely, I'm hooking mine up when it gets here. just for Sh!ts and Giggles.

i've amassed more stuff since i joined this site-than i did in the 7 or 8 years i was growing before, mostly in dirt. . . what since march?

yeah, well keep in mind your in a basement so that helps regulate your temps so so much. have you grown in this space before during the winter? i find its the best season here. if i could only grow outdoors legally in the summer, it would be the perfect climate around here.

I started my 1st grow in Sept last year and have kept it non stop other than a 2-3 week period for construction in between. I have a good idea now since its been thru every season. If I could grow outdoors I wouldnt need all this stuff. I could have grown enuf in 1 season outdoors to more than equal what I did inside all year (aprox 7 lbs) . the goal is to hit 15 lbs inside for the year. My 1st grow was like 9 ozs and it went up each time.

if I could ever get my shit dialed in, and just sit on it and pump it out without ever experimenting on it, i would want to pull 15lbs a year off 1000w in my 4x8 tent. it would be impressive if i could, but me not experiment is like you not growing 5' monsters. lol.

thats why i love your journal, get my monster fix in, so i can go back and enjoy tinkering.

this has been one entire experiment from day one and we are always fucking with it and changing it. Luckily w/o disastorous results. Havent killed anything yet...Better lucky than good as they say.
If we get to 15 lbs a year that would be about the max yield the room can support. IMO

15 lbs a year from an indoor grow........you plan on growing 20- 6 footers to get that kind of yeald. Ive never seen an indoor plant yeald a pound .....outside yes.I hope to get a pound of buds from my grow we shall see, Good luck if anybody can do it you can.....

He might be able to if he is running a perpetual grow, so every time he harvests there is another set ready to go. But even then in a 4x8 that is cutting it close but you never know these days...

no guys its no big deal. No sog, no scrogs no nothing. Just old fashioned growing start to finish evrey 100 days. Just 20-25 big ladies every 100 days from seed. We yielded aprox 3.5 lbs with major problems that resulted in yield loss at last harvest. Our average large plant is about 5 ozs, we had one that yielded 8.75 ozs. yes had many that were 1-2 ozs that averaged out at a little over 3ozs. We are concentrating on tweeking the right amount of plants with the right amount of area. I think we have that pretty much narrowed down now. We are using 8x9 space now and have room for another 40 sq/ft if needed. Trust me the room can support it. Ive been at this 13-14 mnths straight so I kinda know the dealio on what it can yield ultimately. I dont think we can really surpass 15 lbs a year because even being "perfect" the area can only support "X" yield

That's cool Pit you and I are on the same time tables grow every 100 days but I only have 12 buckets and a few plants in soil that arnt doing as well as my hydro cuttings/clones :Rasta:. If I get 16 oz this time I'll be a happy camper.....:nicethread:

Im not trying for 1 lb per plant...5oz per plant is fine for me...with 20 plants. We were lucky with the 8.75 oz plant. Harry is the man for sure!

CAP NG CO2 generator

Vipe,
I am looking into this generator for my room. We will need big one as we are about 25x11 with 17 lights.

Does it generate a lot heat? Some heat? do you have it in your grow space or outside? Do you have a before and after comparison?

In Advance,
Thanks,

Lucy
