The GG is a megacrop dream come true right now. The towers are building nicely and overall the plants are OK. Not to the sticky standards I like but there's still time.
Thanks Felipe!

I hope you are kidding me, lol. She's got lettuce leafs and looks like a piece of shite. I think you meant the GG, which really is the only sauga green in the tent :cheesygrinsmiley:
How goes the battle Professor? Getting any warm weather yet?

EDIT: WTF is a Gorilla Zkittlez? You messing with me as it sounded normal 'til I re-read it.
lol That'll be the one! I was talking to someone about Gorilla Zkittles earlier and must have it on the brain. I haven't smoked any though.

We've had nice warm weather for a while though the last couple of days have been pretty dim

Hi Mr S - just wanted to follow up and say thanks for enabling me to get back in and try using the settings in the Cloudline T4 controller.

After your posts I went back to the instructins and it clicked! :thumb:

I now have it maintaining my humidity for me and it’s working really well. It juts tioggels the fan on and off a couple of times every minute and is keeping it a nice 60% right now. I was also brave enough to set my alarms for extreme high and low temps and RH so I feel confident I’ll get an alert if things get out of hand.

:Namaste:

With everything you have given the community Amy I'm glad I was able to help or push you a little. It was my pleasure!
Enjoy your week.

Wow, page 23. How did I not know about your new journal? :laughtwo:
Ok, going back to catch up...

lol, what's weird is I though you already were here
Welcome beez and good to see you!
Looking good Sauga! Definitely a different group of girls there haha but gotta love the colours on the DDA! Lemon AK looks good to!

Hope your keeping well brother!
Thanks Dutch. Weird is right!! All's well brother, just ducking the virus for the time being. So far I'm winning.

Hey everybody...
it seems I forgot about my journal for a few days. On that note here's a little update before I forget to post it. Not much to report. I think my GG is a photo and not an auto. I haven't really trained any plants except the GG as you'll see the difference between caring and not caring about plants. My heart was never in this round but I fell in love with the GG and have been making her my golden girl of the tent.
The DDA is showing the true colors that we have grown to love. The Zkittlez is one big fat bud with a couple of runners on the side. The LAK has a funny fat funky bud in the middle and two towers on the sides. What a fucked up bunch of plants... that are probably gonna get me high as a kite :Rasta:

:Rasta:

Hello MrSauga, like the color of the GG, nice. I'll be popping some more beans soon. Happy growing.

New Megacrop is out!

Notable changes are described here:

  • More fine and ground powder consistency. We are grinding the “large white balls” that were present in the previous versions, which help make it more of a uniform type powder. For smaller growers especially, this will help them get a uniform even dose at low doses very easy.
  • Higher Magnesium (Mg) and Calcium (Ca). Yes, this was always a common request, and this should help prevent the requirement for any extra supplements especially for heavy feeding strains and growing conditions
  • Higher Phosphorous (P). This will help reduce the need for any extra boosters or supplements, and give overall better flowering and fruiting.
  • Lower Potassium (K). Our previous formulas always had quite a bit of K, so we are slightly reducing it in order to make room for other benefits above
  • Different form of Kelp extract (Ascophyllum Nodosum). We are including black flake type kelp which is higher quality, and increasing the quantities significantly. So there should be overall more kelp benefits from the updated formula.

Love it! Good thing I didn't buy the giant bag last purchase

Honestly I think soil growers may have issues. The changes are good for hydro grows imho, but the old version had enough Ca and Mg in it. The K reduction is a great idea but adding more P doesn't make sense as there was plenty of that too, and plants don't use much P in flower contrary to belief so it makes no sense to me.

I'm seeing some people have good results when supplementing BE with their MC, I was thinking the added P in the mix would build on those results without the need for BE.

I have been having the odd K issues myself so maybe your right on the CaMg extra as I do believe the issues I've seen are K deficiency due to excess Mg. Or I'm just K deficient jn which case reducing it won't help me either. Not sure, I'm not great at diagnostics yet.

What I know for sure is those damn balls don't dissolve that well for me sometimes so having them ground will help

not even soil and not sure i'm with the changes either MrS. in hempy on MC alone and finding it's a delicate too much / too little dance in flower, with most running just on the side of too hot.

probably gonna try the BE supplement on the next run and back off the MC a half g for some head room. might be some answers in there. dunno.

Yeah, I don’t understand the changes to Ca, Mg, and P either. Actually, v1 does work very well on its own. I just like to add Si. That would have been a nice increase for them to make.

again i have to absolutely agree. i'm rolling under heavy need conditions for Ca and Mg, and have not had to supplement with the old formula, so can't really see the improvement.

i think the Si might throw other stuff off balance a bit in their eyes. i think there is some in the current formula. no idea how significant.

i think we are seeing some of the same things.
