The Quadsquad Thread: A Community For Quadlining

It’s doing something there can some one explain? It looks to me like it made two sets of fan leaves on they node am I crazy?

Don't know if I am in the conversation somewhere? But having posted my girls and their disheveled but eager state. I've got them (3 of 11 . 8 are regular seeds that I have taken the first and second nodes off and topped 1)
Training habits and judgment. Thanks for the reminder of snapping those arm's off. I split the centre of the plant last grow, when I was trying to spread out a triple cheese that was flowering into bud. Beautiful blueberry flavour. Shame that I didn't know quadlining for that grow. I'm liking all of the results and babies people are producing. Sticky buds. Drool.
I think I have trained the branches out ok enough to warrant the bending. I've got reserves about how far into the tip I'm tying? But thanks for the reminder. It's going into the process control. My mind. Wweeerrrrr . Click . Boom.
Ha nearly forgot. Quadlining autos? Wow.

I've been looking at my posted girls and recall the last visit to the tips! They are nicely trained if I say it. I've been spreading the tops gently (snapped the critical kush right off one side. She's got Tri lining. ) Yeah I'm alright cos my battle is waiting for somewhere to tie from to form, & , not having the end bending over flat! Yeah I think that describes it. But I've been warned again. They ain't all that supple.

Here she is!
And there you go !. a great start and a future beast is born. nice job on the pin down. Dont forget to allow a slight upward angle on the quads arms to encourage them to keep the speed up .

So after the Quadlineing, then what? Let let each mainline grow out 2 arms each for a tottal of 4 mains and 8 secondary lines? And maybe top the 8 secondary to get 24 total? 4 main, 8 secondary and 16 third set of lines?

So as soon as those open I’m gonna hit it with some more butter. As soon as it lets me get it.
I'm going with I need the humidifier that's on the cards. Want to ask for the apparent on the edge of a straight fabric container?? Is this the case ? If so is there a reason like the roots are getting v.good drainage and nutrient flowing through along with the air circulation of the fabric. ?? Or is it just youngsters in some tub? I cant understand that one. Or nothing like it. :yummy:

Really!!! That I want to see. Drool

Hi fellow quadders. update on the Party here. 4 of the girls are out dried and smoking now. Yield from them was poor but the method helped. I have a few factors to blame for the low yield on these so far and they are the smaller plants of the crop. I cant say its awful but to yield only 6oz from 4 plants is a bust. Thankfully the other girls are huge beasties and could have been guilty of next plant bullying. They spilled heads into the canopy space of the little ladies with impunity.!!! calmag issues early and mid flower ruined the growth for flowering size on the pog. The 2 smaller Gorilla Skittelz looked more genetic small pheno , and a few other issues i needed to improve on with defol and stripping out the "below" nodes when working with pairing the mains. Too many for my space to flourish but i started with hps/mh and switched to Led for the 1st time so now on a learning curve with how they penetrate. So with all the excuses out of the way( still have one or two i reserve !) heres the 1st 4 harvested. buds are solid and taste/smell amazing. seeing the quads without the greenery makes them look tiny plants too now.
here we have 2 Gorilla zkittelz, A phantom OG and a Cookie Kush.

I've grown cookies Kush and gz badly. Well the CK was a badly overcrowded plant in itself. My fault. The gz was a young plant when I just bunged in to flower. It was a lovely sight of glistening buds and yielded maybe an oz and a q . I think that is right.. it all hermied so I opted for choking on ruff buds over the seeds forming.. I think I have so many hermied grows as I didn't understand the stress of trying to bend a plant in bud.

And still quadding happily along we have the Orange sherbet Hulkberry and my 2 star pupils from the Apery, Gorilla zkittelz
Now they have more room they have started a second flush of pistils at day 61flowering(75 since 12/12). The other 2 Gz have some lowers ripening now too but i decided to give them longer than their sisters due to so much lower development amd the buds swelling so well now.

each grow is a lesson.lol
Always when i think i have it sussed , i get a knacker kick. heehee
The others have adapted to the space well and will pull the total yield in line. I do love the Gz and the buds are beauties. The others are stone solid and still swelling too

how does she look headbanger og 22 days from seed topped yesterday. There is a big ass root coming out the bottom but as I said I topped it yesterday and it put that big ass root out I transplanted to this 6 inch from a little macaroni cup final pot will be 2.5 gal when should I transplant again will be switching to 12/12 in 2 weeks

When you say about the second set of pistils I have to say I think it sounds like a point in maturity where mine Go f off and hermy, typically . But I am looking to move forward.

You don’t necessarily have to top anymore after the first topping. I never have. Just train those mains out toward the edge of the pot. Remove any branches that seem too weak or like they won’t reach the canopy. All the rest should fill out really nicely. Could always do a little supercropping to keep things even.
