Alright I've read through about the first 50 pages so far and I have loved every oz of information that's available here. New member, new grower currently in my first grow.
I just moved to a legal state and a neighbor was moving south and gave me a ton of seeds, fertilizers, and all kinds of old school tools. I purchased a tent, light, ac infinity smart setup, etc... and set off on a new journey. With that said I kind of jumped the gun, done about a month of solid research and jumped in, then realized I could have easily used another month or two of research.
I started off with Bubba Kush and GDP both from 420 and then later learned that GDP loves to grow tall. So I started my quest to learn to keep it short, I've only got a 4x2x5 tent and realistically about 30" of grow space which i am sure will be a challenging task on a first grow.
I'm about 30 days in, and I think the plants are looking rather healthy, however I think I may have started training too soon and I topped too soon. I wish I had given them about another week for stem growth. I pulled down the fan leaves to give the new growth as much light as possible and I think i may have pulled them down too far, I later read about the 10° rule.
Should I pull all the stakes up and let it go for a good week with nutes and then come back for training? Or keep as is and be sure to not pull down those mains past 10°?
My main concern is that I've stunted them, what are yalls thoughts? New growth seems to be going well over last 24 hours but still not sure. Topped/cleaned lower nodes on 11/18.
