The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

:passitleft: Here you go Noob. Let me get this started. Be right back.

I've been putting this one off for much too long. It's time to plant, but plant what? I can't even tell you right now what I have on hand. Sad, I know, but it was a hell of a year. Time to catalogue the seed bank and get them into decent storage before the temperatures start to climb. I have an embarrassment of riches in seed form. I have generous friends who tell me they get pleasure from watching me grow. You have no idea how delicious that makes me feel. Yes, I'm high, but I'd have written that regardless. :laughtwo:

Mmmmmm....... An organizational game for my last buzz until Duggs harvests. This is a great idea! :slide:

OK, I'll take that now. Thanks. :passitleft:

Choices, choices. What an awesome problem to have.

Yes it is Noob, I must admit. :laughtwo:
image8896.jpeg

Now to make the list. Cute story about the box in the upper left corner. I needed a storage box, so I went looking. I'd just done the initial purge and wasn't holding out much hope that I'd missed anything like that, but I found this tucked away in the kitchen.

I'm not a fan of thematic decorating, so a thematic recipe box (I don't cook any more) was the last thing I needed. It came to me by way of my dear daughter-in-law, who used to be friendly before she wasn't any longer, as part of a basket they gave us for our thirtieth wedding anniversary - 30 items for 30 years together. Our young granddaughters had helped pick out the gifts and it was a wonderful mish-mash of things we'd never use. :laughtwo:

This box was one of them. My relationship with my DIL is strained to non-existent, and it's ironic that her box should be so perfect for this necessary task. :battingeyelashes: It even has tomatoes as the motif! There're cards inside that I can tape bags of seeds to and record pertinent information.

Life is sweet. Here ya go. :passitleft:

So many seeds! You are nicely set up Sue! That makes me so happy. :)

I'm in a desperate whirlwind trying to decide which plants get to flower next run in 3weeks. Tough choices! Never enough room.
You gotta come peek at the High Brix Huckleberry Kush I just posted. It is the best looking plant I have grown in a long time and there are 2 weeks left!

Be right there Shiggs.

Sweetsue, heheh, you prompted me to go find a jar of Jamaican Dream and see how well it cured. It's been at least a year since I opened that jar or smoked any. The very good news for those who wonder about long term storage, is that they're still great - nice full aroma when you crush a bud! Mine is a strong tangy berry, somewhere between strawberry and cherry? Like a sour mixed berry. Ima gonna take a hit now ...

:bongrip:

My palate is messed up right now because I've been smoking DrG and Carnival and Camels all night ... but it has a nice smooth sweet touch on the tongue ...

:bongrip:

Boy that's smooth ...

:bongrip:

Aww, this is such a sweet strain. :cheesygrinsmiley: It's ... personable, friendly, warm ... like one of your own hugs. I'd forgotten how well balanced it is. Nice. Such a sweet strain.
:Namaste:

WOW!!!!
First off your selection is top notch!
As I read through them one name popped out right away, " Dales Bagseed" I really hope I am around to see you sprout those seeds of love. When I first got on 420 mag some how I found your first journal just randomly. I read it day and night I couldn't stop. I was always looking forward to what was next. How Dale's heath was and your devotion to his health but more so to the relationship you had with him. The way you told of your love was always what brought me back for more. I would tell my wife and we would talk for hours about your situation and how we would cope if we were ever in times like yours. I know these past few months have been tough but to see you rise above like you have is a motivation for everyone! There isn't a better name for this journal because this is a healing garden, but I think it will take a long time for a plant to ever achieve the level of healing you have given us Sue.

I'm humbled by that RheinRover. Thank you. I'd hoped that by sharing I could help others cope when they came up against the same challenge. It's rewarding to know all that pain came to good. I've been blessed in that I was encouraged to be transparent, a good thing since I know of no other way to be. It kept me from withdrawing.

I didn't want to be a woman who's life stopped when my beloved was no longer with me. Sharing with all of you helped me heal in a way I've never witnessed before. It kept me engaged when my impulse was to go into fetal position and stay there. Thank you all for indulging me with such love.

You guys are the best. :battingeyelashes:

Most of those seeds were gifts or prizes. It's like the universe decides what I grow. :laughtwo:

During those 3 hours sorting seeds, wasn't one of us supposd to be sleeping.

g'nite Sue

Headed to bed right now Rad. :laughtwo:

g'nite

I know, I said I was going to bed. :laughtwo: I was looking over that list thinking I need to schedule a run of Crossroads. That mix of Durban Poison x Critical Overdrive x Blue Lotus is calling me big time.

Ok, I can't focus any more. Goodnight.

Thanks Sue :) :) I got one bowl left of the WW its extremely therapeutic :) Cant wait for the new one under the new light.

Cant wait to see what magic you do

My wake and bake now is White Widow. It gets a little better each time I break her out. My current produce was jarred Feb 2 and is just now getting sweet.

Today's the day. :battingeyelashes:

Apparently they both need drenched.

image8918.jpeg

This is good news for me. The CBD Critical Cure had her TransWater drench exactly five days ago. In my experience with healthy kit girls, when the root ball has begun to fill the pot you discover the plant needs watered about every five days. This allows you to keep the major drenches spaced about ten days apart, with lighter TransWater drenches in between. This plant is right on schedule. :slide: Make my job easier baby.

Daily Update: Day 38 & 40

The HB girls got their drenches today. The CBD Critical Cure got her Transplant and Critical Mass got a TransWater. They each take just over a gallon and a half of water. Currently I'm going with 5ml of drench component with 0.5 of Tea added for the 7 gallon (the CBD Critical Cure) and of course, the Transwater is 1/4 that drench amount, but I use the same Tea that I'd use otherwise. When drenching the 10 gallon I'm going with 7ml of drench and 0.7 of Tea. That puts me right in the middle of recommended ranges.

I made a change in tents today, more a change in lights. SlowToke and I are both running the CBD Critical Cure in HB soil, and with my shift our plants are also growing under the same light panel. He's topping early and I'm following the training I got from Graytail to top later and level the canopy from there. It's a difference of weeks in timing, and we're curious to see how the different training styles effect yield.

The photo girls are now under the Advanced panel. I'd hoped to get the Budmaster GOD already, but it's lost out there somewhere and Paul's trying to locate it for me. Unfortunately for him, they sent my panel to Stage by mistake and I'll be getting his. I feel bad about that, but the reality up is that his plants have been enjoying that Budmaster for over a week now and I hear no complaints. :laughtwo:

The new Photo tent. I kept the Fantasmo Express in here. There's not enough available light in the other tent. You'll see.

image8944.jpeg

The Auto tent. Each of the plants has a dedicated 300watt Mars-Hydro panel. They look happy, no? :battingeyelashes:

image8945.jpeg

The Dark Devil Auto (Day 38) has stopped growing vertically, but I still did some passes with the chopstick. That'll be the last time for that. It's a technique I'll remember, along with early topping of autos.
