The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

Radogast/Sue,

I look at things with a trained eye. Having been in the security system business I learned to quickly evaluate an area for all sorts of things. Being paranoid over paraphernalia related to cannabis use or potential growing was a natural adaptation for me.

Oh, they will love it, Sue. Those tools are exactly what's needed to build the under structures involved in what they do. Precision long reach ship in a bottle tools...great for detailing the insides of already built model buildings.

You'll be Queen of the nerds, lol. They might erect (giggles) statues in your honor at the train clubhouse..... roflma

It looks wonderful Sue!

I'm sure that he will be more than thrilled to take anything you're willing to give. Most places around here that accept donations would rather take everything and have the responsibility of getting rid of what they don't want/need afterwards. That ensures they don't miss anything.

Have a fantastic weekend with all your new found space!

You made my morning. LOL! I'll be giggling about that all day. :laughtwo:

You guys would be so proud of me. I went into organizational mode yesterday and I've been cleaning off surfaces and cleaning out drawers, boxing and labeling all the extraneous stuff I can make myself let go of right now. So I've stacks of boxes rising up out of nowhere but open spaces beginning to appear.

I keep reminding myself that I moved us into here from a place over twice this size. It required me to eliminate 3/4 of what we owned. I did that in a month. By myself. I can do this in six months.

I don't need any of this stuff. Some of it I'm going to hold onto, because I'm human, but this has become an exercise in what's really important to me. Can I get my comfort level down to something that can be boxed up and shipped in a couple days? Funny, I thought these were supposed to be the nesting years. I guess I'm looking for my next nest.

Wow! These brownies are good.

Hey, I don't think I shared here - while cleaning out boxes I came across this treasure.

Sweet, eh? I'd forgotten how much I liked smoking with that. Yeah......life is good. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Hell yea sue, I love my dugout. It fits perfectly in just about any pocket lol.

Was a gift from the wife a few years ago. Never leave home without it

That's my go to need a quick puff before getting to work delivery method of choice. We keep a bunch pre-ground but don't bother to fill up the case itself anymore... too much in and out to spend the time.

Great for day trips though, self contained just add a lighter and good to go.

I lived by one of these for many years. I use to work construction and Id keep it in my coveralls with a mini febreeze deodorizer. Boy I got high in a lot of places.

I'm gonna make good use of this. Sadly, all the years we owned this affordability was an issue. How ironic.

He'd be pleased that it'll see more use from now on. :battingeyelashes:

That looks like the bat and dugout I had in college. The one I have now is not brass. It looks like a cigarette.:) :peace:

This one is for you Sue. When I was in college, my girl friend lived in Pittsburgh. She also spent her summers as a pottery instructor at a camp near Mount Davis. The fire tower on Mt Davis is the highest point in PA, sometimes higher then others thanks to my bat and dugout. :):peace:

What is it? Like a pocket pipe? It looks really neat!

It's called a dugout smokie. The brass part is called the bat. You fill the compartment with fine plant matter and when you want to use it you cram the bat down into that compartment and it loads the bat. Good for a solid hit or two, depending on your lung capacity and training.

Ohhhh, neat! I've only used bongs, smoked joints, ate edibles and tacked. I guess I'm kind of a newb... I didn't start smoking until about a year ago right after my health issues started. Still so much to learn.

Thanks for helping teach Sue! This whole forum is a wonderful group of teachers.

See, we always called them "one-hitters", but since the internet I've learned they are called dugouts. One-hitter made sense since it was quick and easy to get one hit out of them, serially if necessary.

 I like the way you put that. LOL!
