Awww Rex...... You got those joyful tears slipping down the cheeks. :hugs: :hugs:

Thank you dear heart. We've been together from the beginning, and it's my hope that you plan to grow old here too.

I gotta say, this is the best retirement plan ever! :slide: Sometimes I have to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming. Lol! Next Friday I fly off to paradise. :woohoo: Yep, life is picking up positive energy.

Good morning everyone

It's another glorious day. Rise and shine buckaroos. We have a special flavor of joy around here, so take a moment, fire one up with me and let's get on with the business of spreading that joy you feel bubbling up from deep within. I'm in a snow globe up here in my eagle's nest of an apartment, the snow swirling around outside the windows. That's the neatest feeling, to look out in any direction and see swirling flakes dancing by.

On to gardening chores. Geez, it's 10:30 and I haven't had a brownie yet. WTH??? Let me amend that as I wander through my garden. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Catch you later. :ciao: :green_heart:

Copy that. And thanks for all the nudges.

Sue I hear those remo nutes grow trees...

No more house arrest... wooohooo :thankyou:, heavy fines levied in the plea deal but the kicker is the default time. After everything was agreed I asked the judge to specify default custody, only one day for each fine. So all those fines boil down to me turning myself in at noon and getting released the same day at shift change 3:30pm. Road trip to Banff.

:thankyou: Oh Hab....., I'm so glad to hear this I got goosebumps. :laughtwo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I'm soooo glad you're free to come and go, and I hear the view on the way to Banff is amazing!! *contented sigh* :kisstwo:

You boys and all that testosterone running amuck.... :laughtwo: Both of those nute lines are great. I'm thinking about hanging on to one for the hempy I'll invariably keep going, but I'm already negotiating with another member to move the remaining delicious-looking line to his grow. It's one of the sweeter delights of winning to be able to share the wealth.

You guys are gonna have to help me figure out how to best use that bad-ass light I just won. I'm still stunned over that one. :slide: I use these 2x2 tents. I don't want to make it a habit of frying them. Lol! I think I'm gonna get to be really good at LST.

Hmmmm...... I still need to get in touch with Dan over at Timber to find out what happened to that light we were looking forward to. I hope everything's ok with them. Thankfully, the Advanced unit appears to have settled down.

Question to the open floor: Could the blinking have been heat-related?

I missed this one and now i'm curious: What light have you won?

Question to the open floor: Could the blinking have been heat-related?

It could have been heat-related. When diodes overheat they just stop working usually. It's possible that they were in cycle of overheating/cooling. More likely is that there is a thermostat in fixture to prevent overloading/burning out diodes, still heat related but indirectly.

Holy shit... Well Sue you damn well earned it! I do hope you make very good use out of it and I definetly do hope it will do a massive job! Congrats Sue!!

That made sense. Thanks KR. :hugs:

Just finished a good class on using cannabis to treat sexual disfunction. Given my own history of an absent libido for twelve years, this couldn't have been more up my alley. :laughtwo: An intriguing class taught by Dr. Jordan Tishler. It's refreshing to see cannabis treated so professionally and thoughtfully.

Now I'm beat. :battingeyelashes: I need a break from the iPad and possibly a session of Callanetics to get things back in alignment and stretched out.

Sounds like a plan. Later, my friends. :ciao:

Sue, you should go on a vacation! with nice warm weather. Good swimming pool, nice drinks to drink and a nice comfy room in a good nice comfy resort!

300+ 90 degree CREEs in a 2x2' tent. That's a lot of reflected light off your tent walls!

You wouldn't need to defoliate :)

LED Specs

24 x 10w USA Made Cree XML LED's
256 x 3w High Output LED's (single chip)

Avg. Power Draw: 618w

USA Made CREE XML and Bridgelux Blue and White Led's.
10W CREE XML Single Chip USA Made

Full spectrum 11+ wavelengths of color output: 760nm, 740nm, 720nm, 660nm, 630nm, 615nm-480nm, 460nm, 440nm, 415nm, 380nm

I believe the 24 Cree XML chips have the reflectors, not all the other 3w single diodes.

I would start with the light dimmed as high in your tent as you could, and work down and adding more light. Did they tell you a recommended height from canopy Sue? The 90° reflectors should help with penetration, and you should have more than enough spread in that tent. Do they have PAR testing available?

The panel has a separate dimmer for the white Crees and the blurples, so it's easy to keep it turned down to whatever the plants can absorb. :slide:

650 watts in a 2x2 is a bit much, ya.

When I said 300+ I was looking at reflections in the photo that made it apear there were 32x12 + 16x4 Cree reflectors.

Without the reflections, it appears there are 16x16 Cree reflectors. That is only 256 total Cree so it seems their specs are a bit off. I suspect their overall analysis is just fine. That's a lot of light.

Yeah Graytail, that was my thought too. :laughtwo: Like Rad said, I certainly won't need to defoliate.

36, thank you for all the help with specs, and the congratulations. :hugs:  I haven't really looked at the light. I have a bad habit of not researching the lights better, something I'd do well to amend.

So, start high and work down huh? That makes sense. I'm gonna be really glad BudMaster sent me those Method 7 glasses last year. I tell ya, all these lights and that 4x4 tent packed away...... It's a little maddening. I finally have the lights to make that tent do what it's made to do, and I lack space to set it up. Grrrr.....

:laughtwo: I can't even act frustrated without dissolving into laughter.

I'm hoping the light gets here before its time to run off to paradise. I won't be setting it up until I return though. That might be a good point to start the next installment of the journal too. We're creeping up on 550 pages here already, just a few pages past the goal.

Nice conversation gentlemen. Let's pick this up again in the morning. I'm starting to nod off.

Goodnight.
